Oh Great and Powerful PMG!
I've noticed a weird little Focus glitch lately. I'll Focus, but some of the troll threads I'm trying to do away with still show up. I hit the little button to "remove a dot and stop tracking posts in this thread", but it'll still show up. So then I sign out, sign back in, and Focus again, and this time it's gone.
No big problem, but I thought I'd let you know, cuz that's how I roll.

Yeah, same thing here. The thread stays in the list, as if it were a newly-created thread since I've been logged on, only the (x new) changes from blue and clickable to black and nonclickable. I recently changed browsers so I thought maybe it was that, but if Aberzombie's having the same thing happen, maybe not.

I've noticed the same thing. I'll click the symbol to remove a post from my focus list and it remains in there.
Using Chrome on Win7x64 if that matters.
EDIT: Just tried doing what Aberzombie did: signed out, closed all instances of Chrome, and signed back in. After doing so, the threads I killed finally disappeared.

What's happened usually in that case is that an instance of the website has cycled itself during the time you were composing your post. The request gets handled by an instance that doesn't know you had focus turned on.
I should probably fix that now that I've finally built the thingie that lets me fix that.
