With the release of Maze of Death nigh, this week, we are revealing the remaining common and uncommon sculpts for the set. So buckle up!

First, we have the Werebear, a common medium. I have been wanting to make this miniature for quite some time. So I am very excited for this to finally happen! The miniature is based off of the Bestiary art for this creature. A reminder to always be nice to random woodsman NPCs...

Next is the Wood Golem a common medium. My favorite part of this guy is the cut pieces with the internal grain of the wood. Very cool.

Then we have the Urdefhan Warrior an uncommon medium. Disturbing, as all Urdefhans are. I think Wizkids did a great job in communicating the semi translucence of his skin. Also, who doesn't love a ghoul esq tongue. This miniature is based off of art from the Inner Sea Monster Codex.

We also have the Urdefhan Necromancer another uncommon medium. I really like the small detailing on her outfit. Nothing says necromancer like skulls. Lots of skulls. This miniature is also based off of art from the Inner Sea Monster Codex.

Here we have the Blight Druid an Uncommon Medium figure based off of art from the Strange Aeons Adventure Path. Don't let her name keep you from using her for your good aligned druid, ranger, or hunter player character. The wooden armor came out great on this figure.

Next we have the Gate Hellknight an uncommon medium figure based off of one of my favorite prestige classes in Pathfinder, the Hellknight Signifier. Tapping on their face covering and yelling "hello?! Hello!!" is not advised.

Finally, the Ghul an uncommon medium figure and malignant spirit. This guy has it all. Cloven hooves. A missing lower jaw, and malevolently eerie glow where his happiness should be.

Check back next time for more Maze of Death reveals!

Nice! I am especially glad to see the Urdefhan minis; They are an exceptionally hard creature to get a miniature that does them justice. Well done!

I'm digging these so far. The Wood Elemental certainly stands out to me. And the Hellknight Signifier will probably find a place in my Crimson Throne campaign somewhere.

In other news Kubla Kraus over on the plasticrypt.com Maze of Death forum posted that the WizKids website has started posting some pictures of the set. So far they only have box art, but one concerning thing is that they are showing a Huge Fire Elemental instead of the Huge Water Elemental on the box.

Is this possibly just a mistake? I remember reading somewhere that there was a change from Fire Elemental to the Water Elemental. And then they showed the example renders of both the Water and Air elementals which I just took as confirmation that those were the ones they were going with. Or do I just have my details mixed up somewhere?

The case incentive here on paizo.com is being advertised as Air + Fire Elementals.

Thanks skizzerz, guess it got changed back for some reason. A bit sad, the Huge Water Elemental looked absolutely amazing! But I was hoping they would make Huge miniature for each of the elements so as long as I get the Water Elemental in the next set or two I suppose I'm ok with getting the Huge Fire Elemental first.

Aw yeah, that ghul is awesome.

IIRC, the plan is to do two Huge Elemental case incentives? So Air/Fire for Maze and then Water/Earth for the next set?

Link to the wood golem doesn’t appear to be working. Apart from that these round out the set very nicely indeed. Love that urdefhan, hope it makes the translation into plastic.

I assume that leaves just the rares, dressing and incentives? Man am I excited to get this set.

I don't have links to any of sources I've read, but that has been the common speculation from others posts on the subject. I think I saw some official comments from someone at Paizo discussing it, but do not remember where. On the Paizo Message Boards somewhere probably.

Sigh. Commenting so I can flag my own comment as in wrong forum. That now makes three blogs. Maybe the website has evolved and is trying to give feedback?

After reading that title I'm a little disappointed that there aren't any miniatures of strange women lying in ponds distributing swords.

We have now been shown 12 common miniatures and 12 uncommon (medium or small) minis.

The last seven sets all had 13 commons and 11 uncommons (large ones excluded).

While it is certainly possible that this has changed (sets 3-6 had 15 commons and 13 uncommons of small and medium size), it probably is a mistake and one of the minis declared as uncommon may very well be a common.

-The Werebear (which is from page 181 of Bestiary 2), got slightly changed and now holds his axe high as opposed to the art. He looks more menacing that way. Cool mini, the rarity is spot-on.

-The Wood Golem looks exactly like the art from page 164 of the Bestiary - an amazing sculpt job! Organization of this CR 6 construct is "gang" (2-4), so it being common is solid.

-Urdefhan Warrior & Urdhefan Necromancer: Both look great and are a very welcome addition to the Pathfinder Battles world. I think they first appeared in 2010s Serpents Skull AP#41 & in Bestiary 2.
I would love more than two types and more than 3-4 of each, but the very detailed paint scheme would be okay for a rare too and uncommon is the right decision for these "beautiful monsters".

-The Blight Druid is a very good looking female human mini, which will be useful for all kinds of woodland and village encounters. I don´t think we had a wood-armored mini before. You could also cut off the speartip to make her a monk.

-The Gate Hellknight looks menacing. I´m not sure about the weapon grip pose, but it will find it´s use.

-The Ghul from Bestiary 3 normally has orange flames burning inside it´s skull, but green may look better in the overall color scheme. Definetly a useful undead to have.

I like all seven minis.

With next monday`s reveal being announced to be about the case incentives, i hope we´ll get some clarifying info about the confusion with the Fire Elemental Lord/Huge Water Elemental change.

The missing 6 rare minis may also be in the blog, leaving the six "dungeon dressings" reveal for the last blog, two days before release.

Online shops will probably reveal them earlier.

I also don’t have any links - I generally just ask Marco if I need a reminder of past mini discussions. :)

My recollection however, is that the “second pair” of huge elementals were not necessarily slated for the next set but were definitely planned for some future set.

The Pugwampi Gremlin is listed as uncommon and looks more like commmon, maybe that is the odd one out.

It also is the only mini in this set I might buy some extras. While I like everything else it also is spot on in rarites for my needs.

A little off topic but...any idea someone if/when the golden Skeleton Champion from Paizocon will be made available as a single mini buy? I think it's a better fit than the standard one to my growing army of golden and ivory minions!

I love how the Blight Druid is a bit of a thicker woman. It's nice to see various body types represented!

Thank you for confirming, Vic.

I seem to remember, that Erik told that the first set of 2018´s incentive would be another "scenery set" and that the second one in 2018 would probably have the other two elementals.

Of course i could misremember or that could have changed.

This entire set looks great! I think the only miniature I'm lukewarm on based on the renders is the Ice Devil, disappointing because it it one I've most anticipated. I hope it turns out better in hand. As for everything else, it all works for me. I hope the dungeon dressing ends up looking good and being useful.

The more I look over this set, the more I'm convinced I'll cherry-pick some singles on top of getting the case.

Well done, Paizo.

according to Wizkids own release schedule page, it´s wednesday 1st of november.

It is already in stores here in germany, but i didn´t check it out yet, as i´m not a fan of the occult classes.

I´ll probably check it out next saturday.

I'm not a fan of the occult stuff either, but the sculpts look versatile enough to serve as civilians or other class characters.

Halfling kineticist.

So what happened to the Maze of Death Blog post for 10/16? With 10/23 being the last Monday before the official release date, and there still being 13 minis to be previewed as well as the case incentive I was expecting there to be something yesterday.

Just dying to know what the last few miniatures and dungeon dressing will be. Also, would love to hear the official word from Paizo about the swap of the Huge Water Elemental for the Huge Fire Elemental in this set.

If the order is flexible, I'd like to see last 13 this week and the case incentive next week. The incentive is already known.

Yoon is a Human Femaile child kineticist, not a halfling... and it should a small hockey stick, not a boomerang... the question is where is Gom-Gom her stuffed owlbear? I thought it was on her front in the blog on that set...
