I've corrected a number of errors in my first set of files and used the new errata.
Summon Monster [with augment summoning]
Summon Nature's Ally [with augment summoning]
If you find any errors please mail me...

Stuart,
Great job on these and as many have said, thanks for the hard work.
There do however seem to be a couple of missing monsters from the augmented summoning pdf.
III is missing
Ant, Giant (soldier)
Aurochs (herd animal)
IV is missing
Ant, Giant (drone)
Bison (herd animal)
Deinonychus (dinosaur)
VI is missing
Elasmosaurus (dinosaur)
Thanks again for the efforts.

Yep, give me a good reason to include any of those less than exiting [or versatile] critters and I'll do it! :)
Seriously though, would you ever summon one of those over the other options at that level?

Looks good, although one small comment, somewhere James said the Riding Dog in SMI should just be a Dog.
Not according to the recent errata-ed updated Core rulebook unless they missed that one!
stealthdrake I know, I kinda wish I'd not missed them out but a certain Mr. Fox Dakota Haffenden, my 8 week old baby boy has changed my life somewhat and sadly it'll have to wait some!

They did indeed miss that one.
Since a riding dog and a wolf have pretty much identical stats, they should both be about the same difficulty to summon is my reasoning...
Ah well... hopefully something to errata in the next printing, I guess. Not that it's particularly game breaking as it stands...

Great job, Thank you
I do use the Auroch and Bison
because they do very good single target damage with 1 strike, esp when augmented
Auroch +7 to hit, 1d8 +7 damage, +9 if augmenteded, then slap on Bull's strength (which is redundant actually) and +11
great when you REALLY NEED TO HIT AND HIT HARD
My GM says in 20 years he has never had someone throw "Hamburger" at him, then my McDonalds Posterchild laid down some serious whoopa$$.
Now he knows "where's the beef"
In otherwords, please add them

You mean other than the fact that some of those are dinosaurs? "I SUMMON NESSY!" :P

Use these ones!
Thanks. Very nice. I had just put together a really basic looking booklet of first level summons from the SRD and then I find this much, much prettier PDF. Doh.
A humble request: I find the gold lettering on the Fiendish bits is very faint and hard to read when printed out. Any chance you could use a darker color? Red perhaps?

Sorry about the colour problem but if you've worked with pdf's you'd know that a simple thing like that would take hours! If I get some free geek time maybe I'll have a look. I'm thinking Dark Green as Red is for SR.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but...
From the PRD, Universal Monster Rules, Natural Attacks:
"If a creature has only one natural attack, it is always made using the creature's full base attack bonus and adds 1-1/2 the creature's Strength bonus on damage rolls."
Cross that with the Augment Summoning feat, which adds +4 Str.
The result should be that augmented creatures with only one attack should gain +3 instead of +2 on their damage rolls over their un-augmented counterparts. I noticed this when I was looking at the SM1 Dog entry; the damage for an augmented Dog is listed as 1d4+3, but with a 17 Strength (+3) and only one attack, wouldn't the damage be 1d4+4?
Just an observation. I haven't looked that closely at the other summons; I don't know if the problem is in that one entry or if it is more widespread.

I think you've miss the boat here, I've had this [and previous] threads running for a year or so. If you scroll up even James has posted here without having any issues with my work.

As indicated by James Jacobs above, in the 5th edition of the CRB the Riding Dog was removed from the Summon Monster 1 list and replaced with Dog.
The errata still only mentions the above change being made to Summon Nature's Ally 1.
The Official PRD also still contains this error.
Could this please be mentioned in the next round of FAQ answers so the majority of us who don't own the 5th printing of the book properly implement this change?
TL;DR The hardcopy of the CRB says one thing, the digital version says another.

Argh.
.... can anyone provide a link to the work without the art? It seems strange the fun police would show up and take down a link that promotes use of the very thing it's trying to sell.
Thanks.
