Minor Crab-beast

Sorry for the interminably long time betwixt updates. Weekend was pretty full on, and only just got enough time today for this.

Reposition doesn't provoke AoOs, and near I can tell the target can still complete their attack after being moved - albeit with the sickened penalty.

Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

The man does not expect Cassadar's smooth motion and ends up offbalance and is easily repositioned to where Cassadar bids him to be placed. He lashes out with a half-powered reply...
Cestus: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 9 - 2 = 14
...head still spinning from the redirected run and he is unable to land the blow.

Gorak steps up and swipes the man with a weak, but accurate monkeyfist. Used your first set of rolls.

Damage Tracker:
Half-Orc in Chain - 13
Human Stone Cestus - 4

Cassadar still has a round 1 action to take place after the re-direct.

A dangerous game to play, but as the swing missed, Cassadar took one more opportunity to remove his opponent from the match, again working with his momentum to cause a step outside of the ring.
Sidestep to G-12
Reposition to G-13: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 2 = 14

Minor Crab-beast

Cassadar's attempt to further force the man out of position is unsuccessful, and he holds his ground.

I cannot see the Updated Map, all I get is the top left corner - in other words I can see the green orc and 1/2 of the duergar. But nothing to the right of the duegar or below them.

Round 2
I move and hit the Half-orc in Chain assuming I can get to him with a 5-foot step. If not, I move to hit anyone that I can with a 5-foot step trying to set up a flanking if possible. As I mentioned, I cannot get the maps to load, so I am not sure where I am and who is near me. I prefer attacking someone already hurt.

I've been having the same problems with the recent maps.

Minor Crab-beast

Sounds like a browser side issue with the maps, Google Docs must have changed up some things which have screwed up the maps on your computer. I haven't changed anything with respect to the way I upload them, etc.
I use IE at work and that has a few fits with them, though they are still readable.
Anyone else having problems?

Frakdar steps up to the half-orc already struck by Torgus and although the first attack is missed, his second blow lands home staggering the opponent.

The black handed half-orc wades into Frakdar, leading with a driving punch at his shoulder...
Cestus: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 for 1d4 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 3 + (3) = 7
...that is wide of the mark.

Torgus finds himself under assault from the half-orc in chain...
Fist (lethal): 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 10 - 2 = 17 for 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Fist (lethal): 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 10 - 2 = 22 for 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
...one fist driving home into his ribs.

The oversized duergar lashes out with knife-hand strikes at both Gorak and Cassadar...
Unarmed at Gorak: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 for 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (3, 6) + 4 = 13
Unarmed at Cassadar: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18 for 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 2) + 4 = 7
...before stepping towards Javi mid-flurry of blows and kicking out at him over the prostrate form of his companion...
Unarmed at Javi: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 for 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 3) + 4 = 8
...though only manages a glancing blow against Cassadar.

The man with stone hands lashes out at Cassadar again...
Cestus: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 9 - 2 = 17
...though his strike is still mal-affected by his disorientation.

While the staff wielder seemingly freezes to think for a moment, before standing guardedly.
Provokes from Javi.

M Half Orc Druid 5 (Feral Warrior)

I'll post a bit early since it's only allies between now and then.

Gorak takes a 5 foot step (E12) and casts a spell (call lightning 5 minutes). Seconds later a 30' vertical 5'wide bolt of lightning materializes above the guy in G12 (assuming he hasn't moved).

I never got a clear answer about the weather conditions. Is it rainy, cloudy and windy, or hot and cloudy? if yes the damage goes up. For the initial roll I will assume not.

Javi grunts as the staff finds his ribs, his mouth twisting in a grim snarl. He doesn't miss a beat, though. Misdirections within misdirections. The words of the Carrow's instructions echo through his mind as he spins even as the staff is withdrawn. "Right there!" Javi shouts in response to Frakdar's instructions -- more to throw his two opponents off than anything else -- Javi has no intention of grouping back up if he doesn't have to. (Bluff to make his opponents think he's regrouping - 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19.)

His answer to the staff-wielder's strike come even as the man is reclaiming his feet. A raking strike flies at the man's head as a distraction, the real attack coming by way of a masked uppercut. And Javi tries to capitalize on the opening caused by the uppercut by reversing his rake hand, this time trying to drag his fingers across the momentarily-stunned man's eyes. It's the perfect move to cover his melting from view, stepping further behind the man after he's invisible.

Frakdar - the Sense Motive check essentially becomes your AC, so it isn't specifically against the crit confirm, but against the attack... but same effect anyhow.
Unfortunately you can only spend one immediate action inbetween your rounds - so you cannot use Snake Style on both of the attacks from the duergar. Since this is the first time it has come up I'll assume that the first hit took you by surprise, and you used Snake Style against the second attack (thus causing it to miss) - but please keep this in mind for the future.

I had an epic fail mentally on this which is partially the reason for the slow post rate - apologies on that.

The duergar grunts as it sees the flow of the fight move away from them and the falling of three of his companions. Taking a knee he puts his hands to the side and bows his head - even as his size reduces to normal. The staff magus notices this and with a sigh he adopts a similar pose and the crackling field of energy around him pops out of existence.

Your foes have surrendered and the battle is won... though it is up to you whether you offer them honor in their surrender, or simply put them down hard.

Combat over, and the last two standing have surrendered - though you can either graciously accept... or continue the assault and lay them low.

The small crowd does not respond to Torgus' bellowed questioning, leaving him the choice. Assuming Torgus sees the final blow as unsporting, the gong is sounded once more and the energy field around the fighting ring submerges back below the cobbles.

The duergar does not verbally respond to Frakdar, but when allowed to stand he gives a short bow before moving to help his fallen comrades to their feet and back out of the arena. Two are grasped unceremoniously by a wrist and dragged, while the staff magus gets the third in a fireman's carry.

The small crowd slowly dissipates, though you get a sense that your conduct was well received for the most part - especially the mercy shown at the bout's completion. As you ready yourself to move away, you spy one observer in black and red robes quietly standing leaning against a stone pillar. It is a half-orc... that you recognise as the same one that was tailing you through the markets earlier.

Male Dwarf(Ouat Caste) Monk of the Four Winds/5

Frakdar watches the half-orc for a moment.

You all see that orc in black and red? I think he has been trailing us for a while, I am hurting, but do we want to follow him?

M Half Orc Druid 5 (Feral Warrior)

Clearly he's not hiding anymore, right? That being the case...

Gorak-ape says in his normal voice despite his animal form,
"You there (pointing with his meaty ape hands). Why are you following us?"

Minor Crab-beast

The half-orc remains where he stands about thirty feet from you where he leans against the pillar and responds to Gorak's question "I was not following.... I was watching... You are Gond's new pups yes?"

Cassadar frowned slightly, thinking about the times that they had seen the red-robed half-orc and quickly came to the conclusion that it was not them that the half-orc had animosity towards, but Master Gond or one of the others. "Then you and he have history." It was not so much of a question, but a statement.

Male Dwarf(Ouat Caste) Monk of the Four Winds/5

Frakdar carefully watches the orc for any outward signs that might betray his intentions.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30

The half-orc shrugs in a non-committal matter "Not personally... but family yes." touching a finger to his robes for a moment "You are not without talent... but one wonders - why Gond?"

Frakdar senses the man is being guarded, but in no way untruthful in his statements. He holds no fear of you, and the subtle movements in his body betray that he is a hardened fighter.

Male Human (Kellid) Brawler(fighter):3/Urban Barbarian:2

As the match ended and Torgus gets no response from the crowd, he bellows "LET THEM BE SPARED THEN!" He motions for his ladies to come up to the arena and does his walk around while sparks dance in the air as he gives tired roars!

Sorry ment to do this earlier just been a little crazy at work hehe.

As the crowd clears out and the group apporaches the half-orc,
Torgus moves to the them while clutching his two escorts grumbles to them "Come'on fellas WE ARE VICTOROUS LET US CELEBRATE! STOP BOTHERING WITH THIS ONE.......OH are you the one that was following us? Or do you just want my mark? Bwahhaha"

Torgus comes in a little late on the conversation hehe, and he never saw the half-orc or was told exactly about him.

Minor Crab-beast

No response to the half-orc's question?

M Half Orc Druid 5 (Feral Warrior)

Not sure I remember why Gond.

"Why Not?" Gorak says as his ape form melts away and his half orc form becomes apparent.

Male Dwarf(Ouat Caste) Monk of the Four Winds/5

I look up at the half-orc. I chose Master Gond because he is one of the most skilled trainers in the art of perfecting the self.

Why did you NOT choose Gond?

Minor Crab-beast

The half-orc grunts derisively "I do not choose... I teach... though with their failure those you fought will progress no further." he straightens and gives a curt bow, before moving away.

As you look around you notice a new addition in the center of the ring - a small golden statue of a mountain.
