Also - if you can suggest things for my flock of followers, please do. I don't think I can get like 600 followers(assuming 2/3rd of them followed) with the set of buffs I'm going to drop of Usawoti, Iya-Iya, Quiet Gazer on all of them, honestly.

There are probably other things out there, but, at this point, your creatures (and allies) really shouldn't care, because, you know, daggum, my dude.
That said, giving them armor akin to the giant stuff that was given to Usawoti, earlier, would be useful (by way of fabricate) as well as weapons (which can have proficiency granted).
Not all of these will last too long, but it's enough to mostly guarantee a very safe early exit.
Also, if you're curious about the transmutations, polymorph doesn't stack, but I think transmutations do, and I didn't see exception-based clauses in the ones I listed.
Tacticslion |
Ah, just saw your "buff line" - also, don't worry about the durations - you can just make your layer "timeless" for a few rounds to buff stuff up (durations don't tick off against the clock while in a timeless plane).
Also, also, note that you can permanency most anything you'd like, even on other people, and by way of wish, you can net your allies even personal-range effects (for permanency to hit up).
Inarus |

I don't know how to cast that many spells without them running out. Divine favour etc is min/level. Not to mention personal. If we are looking at 600 followers....10 followers per round...
Angelic aspect is personal.
I generally dropped anything min/level and below in duration because I don't think it's realistic, after my super long buff list it's possible to have min/level stuff running.
Inarus |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
I don't run timeless that way - my interpretation of timeless is that time still flows on the other side - so when you pop out - time catches up with you and everything drops out.
Tacticslion |
You might want to recheck what you can do - you can use the timeless trait (available by greater create demiplane) to make your layer a locally timeless effect - that means that durations don't tick until everyone leaves the layer.
Also,
by way of wish, you can net your allies even personal-range effects
:)
GM Tacticslion |
On planes with this trait, time still passes, but the effects of time are diminished. How the timeless trait affects certain activities or conditions such as hunger, thirst, aging, the effects of poison, and healing varies from plane to plane.
This is literally your personal place of power.
Time is already slightly unmoored here, anyway, and functioning erratically. I'm giving special permission for more or less a glorious/immediately safe charge outward.
Most of the protections will expire quickly, but by exiting the air/gluttony (smoke) level, you'll be very close to the deuteroterminal door, allowing you to more or less charge up and see what's beyond...

Ask if they want it first, then let them choose. Also if any of them have sorcerer levels, they just got screwed over by the spell.
It's fun, but very tiring also to do a spell search like that. I think I got most of the more important ones though.

Just know that I expect you to, here in Discussion, show off a template of the math involved with those power-ups. It's up to you.
I mentioned them, but I'mma be busy, later.
You'll want three "templates" for timing:
- including all
- excluding minutes/lvl
- excluding 10 minutes/lvl
But this is not that day.

Oh fish. I knew there had to be a price somewhere >.<
I'll get the maths sorted out. I probably need an excel sheet.

oops sorry...Friday was my day off so I slept a little in the afternoon, and last night, then I will sleep today and be back at work tonight. The good news sad news? is I'm working six days so I will be on mostly at nights. Monday is still ugl though...
Just reading the game thread now,
Congratulations Mort, Inarus has achieved deity and you have acquired endless mathematics...
I watched event horizon, don't even remember the plot, so it was at best forgettable. Pandorum is I think a little different, again, if you read the synopsis, you'll get the idea.
OK, going back to game post now.

Shaddap. Don't tell me about the mathematics. I hate being reminded about maths. But I will do what I have to do. Not tomorrow though - because we're going as a family to walk through the new airport terminal, hopefully I make a will save to do it tonight.
But those spells were shinny! I had to push those buttons!

Now to find Shuuvu it is more complicated - the problem is we can't scry for him.
I could possibly use the wish "Transport travelers. A wish can lift one creature per caster level from anywhere on any plane and place those creatures anywhere else on any plane regardless of local conditions" function - but without knowing where he is - I am not sure if we can jump in using that.
Otherwise it's the "wish to produce greater effects than these", like, "summon Shuuvu to where we are now." or it'd be messing around with simulacrums already - which I rather not do. Since I personally feel they're broken.
Next: It will be a one way trip - since it's some other domain so I won't have the wish to jump back to my domain. But could someone from my domain wish us back into my domain?
Then basically you and Iya-iya go via me wishing you to where Shuuvu is, and I'll wish you guys back when you want me to. (assuming its not another demiplane). Otherwise I will just wish you guys back in 2 rounds if I don't hear from you two.
Are the other levels considered as separate demiplanes or would stuff like getaway work?
I'm working with the assumption he's somewhere on the Deuteroterminal Level.

You're cool, my man!
Sleep is a super-valid reason for not happening to conform to my every little whim. So is, "I was busy with family!" or, "Internet slooowwww!" or "I was eating!" or "I've a headache!" or "I have life. Maybe even a life!"

ok, how much time passes your post here and this and this
Well I guess I want to know how fast all of this is happening so Usawoti can speak and react, are we still in combat rounds?
There is a lot going on, Usawoti will respond to Inarus when he spoke to him and address others, but looking for a time frame.
are the "gifts given" here forced upon us, or can they be rejected?

I am thinking what I can do to convince you - would sharing my power so you can see the truth with your own eyes help?
And if I can't convince you - do I want to trample over your personal freedom and drag you with me?
Or do I let you go your own way - and possibly get killed by whatever that comes.
C part says I should just let you go your own way. The G part says I should save you from yourself...
Alternatively hmm...here's an idea. I bring you to the air/gluttony ledge. You go and summon the elementals, and try to go to where Shuuvu is, I'll sit and wait.
Tell me when you get access to that level.
Inarus |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Alternatively - you sit here, prepare spells - prepare commune, and ask this specific question - Is shuuvu beyond the deuteroterminal door? A yes/no answer should tell you if I'm telling you the truth.
You can also ask all kinds of questions on my character.
GM Tacticslion |
You may, of course, reject anything (will save), but who are you rejecting? Emotes may well be inccoming...
The time in between the post where Inarus "ascended" as it were and anything else is highly arbitrary.
That said, the posts in question could have only taken a few rounds, and the voice would be able to be heard. More to the point, you're going to have difficulty moving - there are a looooot of people.
You will hear and understand the things that are happening no matter where you are. It's a curious effect of the place.
So basically, feel free to presume that's happening within the first four rounds to ten minutes and that you would hear everything.
Usawoti |

GM TL ninja'd my post, I will post what I have and go begin typing a post in game.
Waiting for the timing thing, there are a few choice words, I'm working on now. Waiting to see if the bonuses are forced or not. But we can cover it in game...
The issue Usawoti has is that Inarus has given in to the dragon/demon nature, the hunger for power and riches instead of remaining just Inarus. Inarus would talk about fearing he would give in to the dragon/demon nature. Usawoti believes he has done this. That his human friend is dead and all that exists is this power hungry dragon/demon. Not saying he is evil, just not his friend Inarus anymore.
No matter how much Inarus deigns the motive he still did the act, since all of the 'rulers' in the tunnels we have found have been dragon or demon, it doesn't help matters any.
Also Usawoti is not sure how Inaurs can 'claim' to be good having just killed and eaten a (good, I presume) sentient being for it's power and control...Doesn't matter what the ruler wanted or believed, what matters is what Inurus did.
For Usawoti, ends do not justify the means. He wants nothing to do with the power of the dragon previously known as Inarus or this place. Only to find Shuvuu and get the key and leave this place.
So the timing of events in the tunnels is relative.

I know Usawoti was not compelled to worship, was Iya-iya?
Did she take up the jewel, is she part of trio now?
is she a worshiper of the new god that used to be named Inarus?
I'm considering "Luu Chötgör" or "Luu Burkhan" "Luu Chötgör Burkhan" hhmmm will need to decide.

As noted, in the Gameplay thread, she held the jewel, and nothing in particular happened - she dropped it when the brilliant light and pain lanced through your hands, but it hovered for a moment, then gently floated to the ground. It was effectively ignored thereafter - you could choose to pick it up (underneath some people, one assumes) on your way out, or it'll come up in a conversation.
When Inarus effectively ascended, she did, in fact worship him with the others, but has since been freed from the effect.
I'm considering "Luu Chötgör" or "Luu Burkhan" "Luu Chötgör Burkhan" hhmmm will need to decide.
I'm curious what these mean! :D

Isn't 'the lady' a plant again? wouldn't Usawoti stopped feeling her emotes when she became alive again? Can she speak now? She could before she was changed.
using Mongolian as base language but the English letters instead of the Mongolian letters went with a name and title.

wouldn't the new and improved Inarus be able to changer her back?
Inarus then grants a portion of his power to Iya-iya and Quiet Gazer. (1 mythic rank each)
Telepathically to Quiet Gazer
"I've granted you some of my power - you can wish for well..almost anything you want. What would you like, milady?"
Inarus wrote:and the lady blossoms into a gorgeous and large orange blossom before slowly returning to her original size, though she is still more... vibrant, somehow.
When you said her original size I assumed you meant as a plant lady, not jewelry
edit: Now that I think about it, I'm positive that's what you meant!

I can see the confusion (sorry, it makes sense to be read that way), but... that's I did note mean she returned to her previous form! I mostly linked for rockin' music and a big orange blossom that I recognize but can't recall the name of.
(Though I did wonder if you guys'd interpret something about the blue plant lady being related... eh, that's my bad for being unclear: the evil tree was unrelated to what I was getting at - sorry!)
XD
EDIT: That said, it's not something Inarus has tried (that is, turning her "back") nor has been noted as considering, so... that's up to him and his knowledges, lore, and guesswork. >.>

no, I think you are mistaken I'm sure that when you said 'original size' you meant the plant size she was before she joined us in the tunnels. ;)
Anyway, she was changed in one of the tunnels that he is now 'god' of, so it' shouldn't be difficult, the sad thing is that she had a wish and is still a piece of jewelry.
I am so tired of trying to translate emotes! I don't do great with peoples facial expressions, let alone anime, don't get me wrong there adorable, and I like your commitment to the idea, but oy!
GM Tacticslion |
That said, though I don't believe there is any ooc-hard-feelings, I want to be clear, and I figure this is a really good time to do that - any ic-pvp does not come with ooc-frustration, yes?
We're playing a game. A cooperative story-telling game.
With really great drama that is setting an awesome stage for a finale!
From what I know of you guys, I think this is all in good fun, but, just like when any exercise (even cooperative fun) turns "rowdy" it's a good idea to take a moment and make sure it's still a fun time (instead of pressing buttons). As Daniel Tiger reminds us, even fun play with activities can become unfun and cause frustration if you don't pay attention to your playmates!
(Look, I'll be honest: I watch a lot of Daniel Tiger - my in-laws got us the DVD. And I love it! It's Grr-iffic!)

I'm a little weirded out by Daniel Tiger but since you have toddlers you get a pass.
I think were still in good fun, Usawoti was going to flee, more so he didn't have to witness what he saw as the fall of his friend. That said, the milk is spilt. His goal now is to return to the coven, altered by this place as little as possible.
He believes it is a machine who feeds off the sin, and gives those sinners more power so their sin feeds the machine better. He doesn't want to participate in the process. He thought Inarus wanted to stay himself and that the change is a conscious or unconscious acquiescence to the dragon/demon lust for power. Nothing new Inarus can say will change that. Inarus, in his mind is dead. So he hopes the dragon will honor the statement it made about sending the key with him.
NO PVP, on Einars part, I don't believe in it. Though he will struggle against being altered by the machine or anyone who draws power from the machine. But he's not going to throw-down.
Also, how much did spending the time In the tunnel of anger alter him already without him realizing it??? could that be the reason he's so grumpy? hhhmmmmm

Usawoti won't leave, unless Inarus tells him that he won't send the key to the coven. Then he will try and find it on his own. But now he sees himself as a delivery boy, you give it to him, he will leave.
No ones going to change his mind about what happened... anyone who forces him to do or accept anything, will just distance themselves from him...
