Lillian lets out a gasp. Her whole body already glowing with the energy of Bahamut as she rushes forward and lays both her hands on the severely injured Marcus
Max CCW: 62 = 62
She was shocked to see that even her most powerful gift did not mend his wounds completely, but thanks to Lilah, the last remains of that terrible mishap vanished
"That... that was close...."
The human girl was in sheer panic, she lept up and hugged Marcus around the neck
"Are you okay sir?! That looked like it could have killed you!"

'Suny' |
Suny is shocked and stunned into immobility..... the hyperactive Elf becoming preternaturally till possibly for the first time any have met her.
As poor Marcus begins to regain his composure/sense Suny shakes her blond mop as she gathers her startled wits.
"Ah! Marcus?! Is ye all right?" She bounces to her friend's aid,
And... I dun't has none skills fer helpin' sooth people's ills. :(
Perception:1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18
Though she tries to assist as best she can.
Lilah |
If I've done my math right, between Lillians +62 and my +13, I think Marcus should be at 65 HP?
Lilah mentally makes a note not to touch anything as she nervously continues to heal Marcus.
CLW: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 If my earlier math was mistaken, I can cast another one, but otherwise 73/79 is probably good.
Spellcraft (on rod) DC25: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
"P-perhaps we should j-j-just go on?" She indicates the stairs.
Does the orb he touched look any different now that it's zapped him?
Marcus Ironskin |
I messed up I was thinking the eidolon couldn't benefit from healing beside rejuvenate spell. I was wrong they just don't heal naturally. I have resistance 5 so I took 76hp, leaving me at 3, 2mine 1eidolon, so with the 62 and 13 I'm at 78 so yep good to go.
"Yes lets keep searching this place."
GM of Set |
The orb is still buzzing. But not as intense as it was a few seconds ago.
up the stairs?
You are in what seems to be a mess hall, its rather empty. But there are noises coming from what seems to be the kitchen. Not to mention a very delicious aroma of some sort of stew you think
don't think anyone has the profession cook?

'Suny' |
Suny cautiously and quietly pads up the stairs,
Stealth:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
Perception:1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18
Marcus Ironskin |
"Well that smells delicious. It seems we are expected. A good host would have greeted us at the bottom instead of making us wonder through this place. Let's avoid the food until we find out what or who invited us here."
Marcus leads the group on
GM of Set |
The noises from the kitchen stops for a second. You can hear the sound of metal and other noises as things are moved around before a head peeks out from the kitchen.
The head is waring a white hat, puffed up. But what catches your eye is the fact the face has only one eye. The other an empty socket and also. No jaw present on the face
"AH! Guests! Oh! Hold a second... just cleaning up a bit! Be right out!" and the "person" vanishes back into the kitchen

Lilah |
Lilah jumps slightly at the strange person/creature's appearance. Is that...a zombie? She bites her lip, uncertain as to if she should have her bow drawn on the creature or not but nods at Marcus' comment. Luckily, she was quite familiar with poisons, so she hoped she'd be able to spot any put in their food. Although admittedly, she was less familiar with ingested poison than the kind she put on her arrows.
GM of Set |
been a hectic few days. But promise to to more active again soon. But coming week out of town cause of work. So my replies will be slow
Soon the "man" comes out. Carrying a tray in each hand. On it. Fresh roasted duck. And on the other seemed to be bowls of some kind of stew
"Sit sit! I will go get the drinks!" he says. Hus tone of voice was very friendly. But with no jaw it was very hard to tell if he was smiling. Or any other expression. Having only one eye did not help either
Soon infront of you was a meal fit for nobility. Duck. Chicken. Stews. Cooked and raw vegetables. Wine and water. Even milk
this all ofcoarse if you let him... =^^=

Lilah |
Lilah swallows the saliva that comes unbidden at the smell of the delicious food. While trying to give the odd 'man' a decently wide bearth, she moves to inspect the food, hoping that it might not be poison. It certainly looked a heck of a lot better than the rations she had been eating recently.
Not really sure what skill is appropriate here
1d20 ⇒ 17 +9 alchemy, +10 nature, +14 perception or survival
'Suny' |
Suny hesitantly walks about the room looking into/at every thing.
Perception:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
GM of Set |
He looks puzzled. Or you think he looks puzzled. By the way he tilts his head. Then a gurgling laughing fills the mess hall. It definitely creeps you out
"Oh no! I did not bring you here. I am merely the cook! Must by my mistress. Shes away right now. But she should be back today. Maybe you will meet her. But enjoy the food. I need to get back. Mistress has a very strict diet, and its my job to prepare it for her! Im just glad i have all the ingredients!" he laughs again as he heads back into the kitchen

Lilah |
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Is there any kind of sinister meaning behind his comment about "Mistress's diet"/ingredients
Not finding any poison, Lilah tentatively tries some duck leg. Unless she thinks his comment is sinister. Then she'll just longingly hold it.
GM of Set |
on the sense motive. You do pick up that the meal he talks about is not something you get in your average in or tavern. But he is not hiding anything about the meal
As you eat you feel your body revitalise. Energy. As if you had a great meal and a full day of sleep.
mechanic wise. Half of each spell level is restored. 2+ on all saves. Any ailment is gone. Disease or poison. Full restored on HP. Almost like a 'Heroes Feast' spell

'Suny' |
Seemingly quickly forgetting their host Suny quickly digs into the proffered meal.
"Mph! Iph gooph!" (^_^)
Lilah |
Not entirely sure about what's going on or what their "host" was expecting them to do, Lilah cautiously sits down and picks at her food. She tries her best to be lady-like about it, but her hunger and the good taste makes it difficult to stop herself from wolfing it down.
'Suny' |
"Buph, fah fooph is gooph?" Suny asks...possibly, it's hard to tell around the food she's scarfing.
Lilah |
Almost too quietly to be heard, Lilah murmurs, "Well, for certain definitions of 'invite' she did." As it sounds like the rest of her group is gearing to leave, she starts trying to surreptitious stuff some of the food she's not eating in to her various bags and pockets.
'Suny' |
"Oh! Yes pleaze!" Suny calls brightly, then realizes what she's done and looks at her friends with a torrent of emotions swirling across her features.
Marcus Ironskin |
"Head up, you can inform whoever you work for thanks but not thanks. I'm doing what I was sent here to do. We saved the priestess but we put her in danger by not getting her out of here. Stay if you wish but I'm done playing games here. Lillian will you come with me?"
'Suny' |
Suny, lacking as many pockets as Lilah, begins to try and wolf down as much as she can... Though quickly realizes that neither her tummy, nor her cheeks can do as good a job.
With some regret she stops her antics and, brushing crumbs and gravy from her fingers also gets ready to head off with every one.
"Iph weely, weely gooph phuph!" She tries her best to thank the chef at least.
Diplomacy:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

*Hugz DM* (^_^) That's okeys. Tha' boards bin actin' up somat fierce, which dun't be helpin'.
GM of Set |
As you exit the tower, the open sky greets you. The lone tower the only thing one can see in the clearing.
Your new companion still sticking to Marcus. While Lillian keeps eyeing her. She says nothing. Thankful to be getting away from the tower. It is easy to tell it unsettles her

'Suny' |
Suny skips along, trying her best to brighten people's day...
Unless people are being sneaky, like. IN which case she quietly tries to help lighten people's moods.
GM of Set |
just to make sure you were all together and that the NPCs are still there. And Ausk does follow the tracks quite well. There was no attempt to hide it. Also: magic is still very stable. No wild fluctuations have occured
RR: 1d100 ⇒ 24
The first day seems uneventful in comparison to what you have been through the last few days since you woke up from the ambush. Rather relaxed, and maybe a bit boring.
The second night. As you camp. You gather you will reach the city in about a days worth of travel. Just as you are about to retire for the night i have taken into account you have set up a watch, and stayed off of the road, you hear what sounded like a caravan or a basic cart following the road.
Given the area, and the time of night. Noone should be traveling the road at this hour. Due to the ruler of the land. Most traveling is done by day to avoid what ever prefers the dark

Suny perks up,
"Oooo! Listen." She whispers.
Know Local:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
"Sounds like... wheels..."
Yah.. dice roller. :P
Lilah |
Lilah bites her lip as she follows everybody. Is it really ok just to leave? I wonder what they wanted with us anyway.... She leaves her thoughts to herself though as she continues.

"T-they might not be related. The city l-l-looked quite lively." Lively enough that they might find a boat? Although there was all the recruiting going on, so they might all be busy.
