The storm spins overhead. Lightning crashes, fiery explosions cast red glares in brief bursts over the city. Freezing rain sweeps the streets, and the cities' dazers shamble toward the lightning struck house.

Trissae:
I am pretty sure most of the shields just found out. The courtyard was blasted with the booze-bomb, and though the conscious ones may have gone to alert the others, the guy inside just opened up the locked door to yell at the others that there was a fire. To get out the front door or the second floor we are likely to run into many many shields, of whom Grellik is a bit distrustful. ;P
Of course if Triss still wants to go out that way, we'll see how it plays out :D

Grellik/Grey clarification:
Grey you might want to read the previous two to make sure whats up, I think there might have been a miscommunication.
I'm of the understanding the guy inside (the burnt soldier) opened the door into the infirmary to tell Silvers/Rast/Frantious about the fire, not warn others.
If this is the case then Grell would have seen when he went in to help Triss grab Silvers that they were the only soldiers who would have heard him call out (likely).
I only bring it up because I figure it may change what Grell wants to do, and from Triss's stand point going out the door where the fire is, is both super dangerous and likely where most of the guards would be fighting the fire.
I assume the second door Rast mentioned is the side door we used to enter when we first escaped? or does he mean the front door and the side door is the one that's on fire?
Sorry, I just want to clear things up before I make a post.
Trissae is correct, the singed guard (the corridor guard with the keys) opened the infirmary door as per Trissae's orders and yelled inside to Silvers, Rast, and Frantious. The door opposite the infirmary (The one labeled 'Barracks') is the one you guys used before to escape, which leads to the rest of the tower including both the front door and the stairway to the balcony.
Now, you guys are still within the first... 30 seconds or so of the explosion, things have happened pretty fast, and chances are you guys are the first on the scene. Someone is bound to come check soon, or maybe the balcony officer is already issuing orders inside through the door slot.
Grellik DID just run in through the fire, and is hardly injured from it, and it looks less fiery than it did when he jumped through (Intuition, let's say, it would look like at most a 1d6 of damage for passing through the door), and is also correct that the majority of Shields at the tower would likely still be inside in the barracks, rather than the trainees that were out in the yard.
You guys also might want to consider that it was probably quite the spectacle, and Shields from around the quarantine might be coming to check in at what happened.
Note: There are details in here I wouldn't normally list without active player questioning, and maybe some rolls, but I'm providing it to try and get past this speed bump. Assume you'll still have to declare yourself looking at things and thinking things over (and possibly making checks), as normal, in the future.

/facepalm
Hookey, just going to apologize right here for being apparently unable to take spacial descriptions in English, my native and only tongue, and use them to create a good mental conception of the environment around my character. >.<

Team, oh oh oh it's magic! you knoooooooow:
Aww now I feel bad. I'm sorry! I didn't intend on using this to mine details or information out of you GM sir x_X
I merely added the superfluous bit of info about being afraid of jumping through the door as table talk for Grell. As a player I had an idea that it'd be alright since Grell had already jumped through and was fairly willing to jump back through.
Also I hadn't realized so much has happened so quickly! I hope you guys can forgive me for taking up so much time.

not super hot where I am, but really muggy...Oh, f#&+ me I just looked at the forecast 100 degrees on Saturday? F!*! you, Oregon! its only June! Why you gotta do me like this?
I nearly forgot her sun-blindness too. I had to edit in her second roll, even though I knew with the 1st one there wasn't much point. Just sticing to protocol I guess.

If its following Grellik it must be :D (And BTW, haven't written it in the backstory--really need to finish the second half >.>, but I imagine that animals are apprehensive around the massive bugbear and tend to not like him, further explaining his -1 to animal handling despite having knight training :D)
And, Tease, I'm pretty sure he likes to be called the Longfather, thank you very much :D
