Since a griffon is a magical beast does he overcome magical dr? I assume not but I'm not sure.

The griffon's attacks would normally rend anything in it's way but the gargoyle pays it no heed.

A nearby gargoyle begins his onslaught of attacks at the nearby griffon.

Shon'dar takes a breath and waits to see what her companions do. Once they have acted she takes a step forward and lets three arrows fly at the gargoyles. As she nocks and releases them in quick succession, she says to Triela, "This-- sees why--we wanted--to shoot first. There were spells I could have cast to make this easier; distance we could have put between us to give us more time before they reach us."

I have just realised, as I checked Init order, that there are 8 gargoyles.... holy flying s#$$, tell me this isn't the low level entrance. Because pure sods, this is overkill... I love it!

Estela could I ask you to consider casting magic weapon on Roban's falchion? That would bring his damage up by 10 points. He does 2d4+12 with Power Attack at +11 to hit, but not having to take 10 off that would be very helpful. I believe all the other big hitters have magic weapons.

I would be happy to cast it on my next turn. I looked at the others and came to the same conclusion about the magic weapons. I didn't think to check Roban.

If he gets magic weapon Roban can probably beat them on his own, they need 20s to hit him, and hasted he can kill one a round or so. If they do get lucky and kill him he's a eidolon, if you guys want to leave Summer will go invisible and wait with him.

Summer lays her hand upon Roban's back and chants, the eidolon swelling and expanding before her. Grinning evilly the genie flexes four sets of biceps and gives his massive falchion an experimental swing.

Roban delays and will go after the first gargoyle comes up to attack the part. Enlarged his AC is 28.

You do seem to forget that Baldhus, the party tank, has 28 AC too and can self heal and lay some pain. We got this!.... and this is the kind of self-confidence that will kill us in the end ^^
