Oh man, "Steve" is 2nd level. Everyone loves "Steve."
Disclaimer: I'm not dead-set on "Steve," but I am curious to see if he'd survive a nonTektite game. He would also need leveled (and gain 33% more hitpoints from 1st level!)
Edit disclaimer: Nobody actually loves "Steve."

Steve had three health in playing up in a scenario with an alchemist bad; I'm pretty sure he's invincible via plot armour.
It's not plot armor, Steve is actually an idiot savant when it comes to disguise, as everyone just assumes he is akin to the village idiot who has wandered into some confrontation and no one pays him any attention, thus he has ultimate survivalbility.

Guys,
I’m looking to start this game either tomorrow or Monday.
I will obviously make allowances for limited posting over the Christmas break, but if you let us all know when you’re going to be quieter it will keep me from guessing.
There are genuine, written-into-the-scenario Faction Missions in this one, so if you could indicate which PC you’re bringing, it will help streamline my initial posts.
There are a lot of nifty ideas in this adventure and I’m looking forward to running it for you. Any questions or issues, let me know here or by PM.
If you find some time to fill in the linked spreadsheet, that will also help!

We will be driving before Christmas and after New Years, but I should be able to post from the road via phone.
I do not think Omar's faction (Sages) will be a factor in this one, but let me know if he needs to provide anything extra.

Time for the talk, Pathfinders!
Not that one.
The one about subtier.
Omar 2, Steve 2, Abraxi 3, ‘Cheliax’ Dave 3, Jake 5, Manius 5
APL: 2 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 5 + 5 = 20 / 6 = 3.333
Starting with Season 4, scenarios are designed for six characters and contain instructions on how to adjust the scenario for four-character parties.
When the APL of a table is between two subtiers (like APL 3 for a Tier 1–5 scenario), a party of four characters must play the lower tier without any adjustments for party size. A party of five to seven characters whose APL is between two subtiers must play the higher tier with the four-character adjustment.
The nearest whole number to 3.333 is 3. That means Subtier 4-5 with the 4 person adjustment.

Hmmmmm.... I'm not sure I'm very confident about the party composition at tier 4-5....with no dedicated healer. GM, would it be bad to play a very lawful cleric in this scenario? If not, I will likely switch and play my cleric.

Just to inform you; Monday afternoon till somewhere around Wednesday late in the evening I'll be traveling for work. During which time I may or may not (most likely not) have access to the internet.
So I might not be able to update for the next few days.

No clue on number 1. Maybe if you used it to most/most recent it will remember?
On number 2. Go to My account - > Pathfinder Society -> select the character you want to change the picture for, press edit -> go to character image and press the change button

#1 is not possible on your end; if you posted in the wrong alias (and it's alphabetically above whatever yours playing, you have to harass the DM to "remove" your unwanted character from the game's list of characters in the DM's Campaign Info tab. Misread edit: Depending on how your characters pan out alphabetically, it might not be entirely possible. Just be sure to dot with whatever characters you're intending to play with in the gameplay thread and don't post on other aliases or the Strikeout section need be referenced. After you dot Gameplay, it should list them as your only character for that campaign.
#2 is is answered above.

@Manius, No worries! Thanks for letting us know.
@Dave
This is what I do to change Default Character Alias:
My Account -> Pathfinder Society -> *click* EDIT button beside the PC name you want to set to Default -> A BLUE hyperlink saying ‘Set this character as your default messageboard alias’ is at the top.
♝♝♝♝
No problem playing an ultra-lawful cleric in this one.
In that case APL: 2 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 22 /6 = 3.66.
The closest whole number to 3.66 is 4, which would mean subtier 4-5 with no adjustment.

What do you all think? My gunslinger will do d8 damage consistently, but then we would have the 4 player adjustment. My cleric is a negative channeler, but can memorize more healing spells. The cleric also packs three 7d6 fireballs at level 5, plus can haste once per day. Of course, then we would not have the four person adjustment. I'm willing to play either. Any preferences? Thank you everyone for the answers to my questions!

As one of the level 2's, Omar is a support character, so will be fine standing in the back holding the luggage. It sounds like the cleric brings more firepower, but will attract more monsters, so maybe a wash.

I have no idea which would be better. Sometimes the 4 player adjustment makes a difference, sometimes, not so much. We're certainly weighed toward the low side of things I think.
If we are going high tier w/out adjustment, I may bring my gun slinging cavalier to help round out the levels?

Yah! That floating palace called Dynasty was tied up in Venice, Italy when we visited there a coupla months ago.
We went past it (with about sixty others) on a normal tourist ferry but couldn’t see anyone on board. I looked the name up on Wikipedia at the time, and there it was! But Wikipedia didn’t list the owner,

@ Steve, Are you sure you want to foot the whole 150gp bill?
At the end of the game, I could tally up the party’s total spend, divide it evenly and take it off your Chronicles if you all like. That’s assuming you don’t spend more than the 1100 gp of trade goods Dave and Abraxi purchased from VC Victor.
However, I will leave it to you players to decide how you want to go about this.

That was the reasoning for being unsure on the legality of that; Steve is prepared to pay full but also isn't too proud for the IOU system either.

Apologies for the silence this weekend. My middle daughter's and my birthdays are/were over the last couple days, and since we're celebrating anyways, all of my wife's family comes to the party (and stays the weekend) and we celebrate our Christmas with them over the weekend. This comprised of me cleaning/getting the house ready the past week, entertaining 15+ ~7yr olds during an art party (thankfully we are replacing our carpet because its ruined now with paint), cooking dinner for 20+ people Sat., and breakfast for 15+ people Sun. Yesterday was cleanup/rest.
TL;DR
Sorry for the slow posting, but my excuse is fairly (depending on point of view) valid!

Looks like Tonya has provided PFS players and GMs with an early Christmas present.
It’s a pretty cool Holiday Boon which you all qualify for.
Although I will do these up and send them to you at the end of the game, I can’t see any reason why you wouldn’t be able to use it in this game if you wanted to.

To resolve Omar’s action:
I don’t know if it’s an official rule, but one of Paizo’s staff says he rules removing a hand from a two-handed weapon a free action, though then the weapon becomes ‘carried’ not ‘wielded.’
Sounds good to me.
That would mean Omar can keep a hold of his polearm with one hand and attempt to grapple Phelly with ONE hand for a -4 penalty to the check (which is in the Grapple rules),
OR Drop the polearm and attempt to grapple with two hands, with no penalty to the check.
In both cases, the Grapple check fails, so I am happy for Omar to keep a hold of the naginata, or to have dropped it.
@Omar, I’ll leave that up to you.
EDIT: Omar's Grapple attempt provokes at AoO from Phelly, but she is not wielding a melee weapon.
