Nothing that you have to remember. You shouldn't need to bot me which is good because between animal form, buffs, the tiger, and possibly summons there is a lot going on.

Irizati is a core druid wearing Wild Full-Plate armor. He spends much of his time in animal form but can still cast. He's melee focused though he does have Augment Summons for those rare moments when he has time to summon.

Dupine has a good move rate (50'), and will usually use that to get into a flanking position in order to use flurry of blows with 2d6 sneak damage. (With haste and an extra Ki attack, he can really put a beat down on someone.) However, he usually tries to first talk his way out of a fight (diplomacy +13), and will almost always use non-lethal damage (expect against evil outsiders, constructs, or undead).

Unusual stuff: Alonso is a conjuration specialist wizard. He occasionally summons but not often, mostly he drops conjuration control spells. His arcane bond is a ring of invisibility which he keeps active at all times. He has access to a number of non core items and spells.

Important ones include: Lesser talisman of freedom and the Insights of Far Seeing Taernis spellbook. He has a variety of non core spells including life bubble, spiked pit, acid pit and acidic spray. In general he always tries to be flying using overland flight and should we enter a dangerous location he always tries to have mirror image active for when invisibility breaks after he attacks.

He also owns the nexus crystal from bonekeep 1 and the mind crystal from bonekeep 2.

I have both played and run this in regular mode.

Also, just as a note for anyone who wants one. Alonso can provide heightened continual flame spells, caster level 9, spell level 5. These cost 50gp but they will defeat deeper darkness. Alonso carries one already.

Godfrey has Improved Uncanny Dodge, so no flanking or flatfooted (Except rogues must be at least level 9 and then they can sneak attack with flank.) And Combat Reflexes, so AoOs abound.

He also has a pet shadow from the prestige class.

His targets are to stand up and get punched by things, using his shadow to gain flanks and debilitate. If he's worried about AC he will try and use his shield wand to toughen up, and if he really can't handle facing something head on he will use spring attack to hit and run it.

It is cast at caster level 10 (Alonso's caster level) and heightened to use a 5th level spell slot. This means it will overcome any regular form of deeper darkness. Assuming travel time I should have enough time to provide one to any of the party who want it before we arrive at our destination.

I have played in standard. I think we took a pretty non standard way through it though.

*sigh* I forgot that the reason I didn't buy a reduce animal scroll is because I decided to memorize the spell instead. We are no longer clinging to a ledge so I'll hold off on using it for now.

So getting across that area could be awkward for Irizati. He has lousy dex, No acrobatics, and is effectively wearing plate. Add the fact that he can't take a running start and he'll need to roll a nat 20 to get across.

Baloo is in slightly better shape. He only needs a 13 on the die before Guidance.

Not much I can do for Baloo other then maybe leave him behind but Irizati has 2 flying options.

Small Eagle: 3 attacks but only average maneuverability.
Medium Air Elemental: Only 1 attack. But it allows speech and I think he can still cast, There was some local debate about that. Irizati has augment summons so he can stay back and do that.

I believe that you can make the DC10 check to fly less than half speed in order to take a 5' step using flight. Otherwise it is DC15 to hover.

While not wishing to cause us more problems there is no save on the initial negative levels from a spectre or similar. The save is to get rid of them after 24 hours.

While not wishing to cause us more problems there is no save on the initial negative levels from a spectre or similar. The save is to get rid of them after 24 hours.

Wow, and the writers put in three of them. That sucks. And the tactics are to gang up on one person and flanking if possible.

Yup, the low tier is decidedly more deadly than the high.
