Hey, just wanted to quickly touch Base.
Rayan was involved in another session that was supposed to have concluded before the start of Gameday (GM Top running overflow archive). We're close to complete and should hopefully tidy it up within a day or two but if you're not ok with that I'll quickly gin up another character and substitute him in today or withdraw myself entirely, depending on how you feel about that.

During the day off, Khellek, who has finally amassed enough money, will buy a headband of vast intelligence +2 - with the Perform(dance) skill in it. He may be a stuffy old man now, but he cut quite a figure across the Varisian dance floors when he was younger!

Hope you didn't think I was AWAL! I will be maintaining my one a day (other than yesterday the slacker I am) but I am getting married this weekend so the timing of my posts may wildly vary hahahah. I'm not gone though and when in doubt bot me in combat with a Force Missile.

Well, Khellek is totally focused on history. If there is a boon, trait or skill that boosts it, he has it!
Juist don't expect him to be helpful in combat. He'll take out Bessie and make suggestions for africa, but... that is about it.

I've been looking for a comprehensive list of available boons somewhere and what scenarios award them as sort of a meta wishlist/planning tool hahaha.
I think as long as he has bardic performance and a wand or two he'll be plenty useful. Hell even just being team "Aid another" can make a huge difference.
Besides Rayan has enough Pew Pew for both of us. I never play blaster casters so I went for as much Pew Pew as I could get out of him hahaha.

Aid-another is often, especially at low levels, a useful tactic for the non combat folk. Inspire courage is works out better for a group, and they stack.

My posting will shortly take a dive as I head off on a long holiday. While I fly out next weekend, there is frantic packing of stuff, and moving furniture around as we get the place painted while we are away.
Please bot as appropriate if I don't get a post in in a timely manner. Generally Khellek will use inspire courage early on, making identification rolls to help point out weaknesses or strengths of anything we end up fighting.
Otherwise he'll pull out Bessie, his crossbow, or just use aid-another, dispencing cure light wounds from his own spells, or wand as required.

There is apparently an error in the Taldan Text in the handout. It should decode to HAS THE BELL OF OBEDIENCE. You deciphered it.

Overall I think you did a pretty good job with this scenario. You let us have time to role play as we went along, your descriptions were not confusing, and you responded well to us. Post frequency did slow down towards the end, but that wasn't entirely your fault. ;)
All things considered, this turned out to be an engaging scenario with an entertaining mix of players. Cheers, all!
