I like that Paladin hosue rule, but Ragathiel is LG. So it'd basically be the same thing. Though as far as I can tell his dogma is "kill everything evil, and follow your duty"

If I could maintain my neutral good alignment, I will think about paladin. It might work.

So realistically, I can't imagine that Maeve is going to come back. Do you guys want to continue as a foursome, or would you like to recruit a new arcane caster. There will be a good point to slide in a new PC shortly, so it would an opportune time to grab someone.

I think I can get away with trading out the rest of my planned inquisitor levels with paladin and still become a mystery cultist. Would you allow me to change my favored class to paladin?

But this level is going to be in fighter (Lore Warden).

Switching your favoured class is fine. I also fine with you (or anybody) retraining their current class levels if they want.

I'd have to rewrite my backstory if I got rid of the sin-eating, so I'm going to keep the one level of inquisitor. But I will change my favored class.

On the issue of recruiting, I think we're going to need that arcane caster. But I'll go with the will of the majority if everyone else feels differently.

Updated Pytros's character sheet. I added another level of fighter (lore warden) and took Improved Trip for the level 3 feat.

I'd be fine with recruiting a wizard.

Are you backtracking through the game applications? I'm not averse to an arcane caster, but we are rather... "unorthodox", and I like the aesthetics.

Given the benefits of Snake Style, that rather eclipses Adder strike, though I wonder if that will allow for use of Injury Poison on Unarmed Strikes? That feat tree will account for all of Joao's future feats, barring a Ninja Trick substitution, though. Still playing it by ear, but it looks promising so far.. Maybe I'll even get to use the Demon Hunter's Handbook. >=3

Snake style allows you to do piercing damage, so I would think injury poison would work.

As for the re-recruitment, I was brought on as a hired gun to DM this game, so I don't have a backlog of other applicants. As I see it, we can recruit a PC, we can recruit someone to play 'Maeve', or you guys can take Avarashnial on as a cohort.

I'm definitely going to recruit two more PC to inject fresh blood.

One will be Arcane headed for the archmage path, but as for the other, I'm not sure regarding the other.

Are we short a guardian? If so I could recruit a paladin with that in mind and Ruarc could stay on his current champion build path.

That'd be cool. It'd be nice to pick up the pace some as well. I'm running WoTR now too, but I haven't read past where we are in this game. If my game gets caught up to and passes us, I'm not going to have very much incentive to keep playing here. We've been going for nearly a year and we're only at 594 posts. My game's been going since May and we're at 283 posts. They are in Neathholm about to go fight the cultists. Just a heads up.

I've put a little thought into how to bring you guys in and here is what I got: Arwen, let's have be one of the prisoners that the current party is rescuing, ambushed patrol or whatever. Key point is that you know that the crusaders are fortified at the Defender's Heart Inn and can lead the PCs there. You'll get the only sword you'll ever need from the PCs, so let's say that you were divested of your weapons, but still have your armour. Full plate is fine.

Max, why don't we have you as been a part of the Blackwing library. You escaped the current unpleasantness and have managed to find the crusaders. You know Aravashnial and you can be the hook to get the PC's to check out the library. For the sake of pacing, we will have you stumble into camp after the PCs have had a chance to rest.
