Tenro |

This Champion Warlord is my submission, it is a work in progress (very much so). a big part of the time i am sinking into it is formatting, so that all the information is there in a format that isnt an eyesore and will preclude the need for the GM or myself to reference playtest PDFs
EDIT: Paizo is being silly and adding things to the URL. you'll have to open the link, delete "threads" and anything before it, then hit enter for it to work. or just look for Dreyyn under my aliases page.

Nethan Ryon Akerman |

Those who are getting an error trying to look at Tenro's build, here you go ... Champion Warlord Dreyyn

Alþórel |

Okay, don't want this to be a surprise, so checking now.
Mythic Floating Disk allows movement of 30ft in any direction, but I note Fly and Phantom Steed have been banned. Is the flight aspect of Mythic Floating Disk going to be a problem?
I really like Mythic Floating Disk, and was hoping to get it to the point it could support or resemble a small, light wagon.

Alec Colasante |

@Alec: The Bloodrager seems fine, but instead of making up new feats for him for when you hit 6 if you are going all the way Bloodrage, choose either Barbarian or Sorcerer and you can only take those 'Epic' Feats.
@Mahorfeus: Yea companions should be average per hit dice.
Ok, cool. I will get back to you about my choice after I look over the 'epic' feats. Also, I should be able to finish making the character tonight.

Tarondor |

I can't tell you how psyched I am to try this. I've been thinking about running my next campaign as E6 (or E8), but would really miss tackling the big threats. I'm fascinated to see how well E6 and Mythic combine. I have high hopes for this!
Anyway, I'll be looking at possible build and will post something soon.

Alec Colasante |

Ok, here's my character, Tsadok Stormborn
He's just about done, crunch-wise (just need to finish equipment), and I should be able to get the backstory up either tomorrow or Friday.

Jeremiah Flynt |

Jeremiah Flynt wrote:Ack, just realized Champ is the second most popular path.Maybe so but you seem to be the only range right now so a range champion is good.
I hope you're right. He'll probably end up playing more like a reach fighter but Limitless Range means he can pistol snipe pretty easily.

Amelia Lightfoot |
This is Tazo. After realizing to my dismay that Desna might not actually have paladins as followers, I decided to rework the build into the one you see before you. Amelia is going to be a Ranger 2 / Fighter 4 multiclass, and also a Trickster. She's most definitely still empowered by Desna, but that will be symbolized by her mythic abilities. And, as discussed, she is indeed carrying a Handy Haversack full of starknives, just in case. She also picked up Disable Device and Trapfinding, so she can be somewhat rogue-ish.

GM_Radiance |

@Tarondor: I wouldn't mind seeing Life or Battle, I've seen tons of lore oracles in my games. I guess knowing things is exceedingly popular amongst oracles :)
So current submissions:
Alþórel: Wizard - Archmage (complete)
Nethan: Psionic Wizard - Archmage (complete)
Lessah: Witch - Archmage (WIP)
Amelia: Ranger/Fighter - Trickster (complete)
Tsadak: Bloodrager - Guardian (backstory missing)
Dreyyn: Warlord - Champion (complete)
Jeremiah: Gunslinger - Champion (Complete)
Tarondor: Oracle - Hierophant (WIP)
A couple of others who voiced interest as well.

Tarondor |

I'm a Westchester Insurance Professional! Apparently. :-p
Better than being a Writer In Prison.

Lessah |

WIP = work in progress :P
And I'm currently working on the witch - which will be ready by tomorrow I think. However, I was slightly sidetracked by the new playtest ... I was considering submitting a Bloodrager of my own instead - of the Draconic blood and focused on using claws and fire in combat. It is a idea I've had in mind for a while and the new class is a perfect fit! She will be an champion and probably take the dual path ability to pick up the improved bloodline from the Archmage so she will be substantially different from the one Tasdak submitted.
However, if either of you feel that it might be redundant with two characters of the same class I can keep at it on the witch instead and save the dragon for later : )

I wouldn't have a problem with a second bloodrager. I'm taking the Destined Bloodline, and using two-handed weapons, so between that and our (albeit limited) spell selection, I would imagine they would be different enough.

I've created an oracle of battle and I'm torn between Marshall and Hierophant. Any suggestions?
Also, I can't seem to include Mythic stuff in Hero Lab even though I purchased the Mythic Adventures add-on. Anyone know how?
That seems like a really tough choice. On the one hand, you could get more spells, which is good, but on the other, GM_Radiance did mention we don't necessarily need a focused healer, and the Marshal path allows you to buff the group in other ways, and act as a sort of team leader. So I'd say Marshal seems like the best bet.
Never used Hero-lab though, so can't help you there, sorry.Edit: seems you already picked Marshal. Good choice.
Edit 2: Didn't notice the dual path at first. Now you get the best of both worlds.

GM_Radiance |

@Antonia: You average Hp beyond the first level, though those were good rolls.
@Alþórel: Spells can be done after yea, as for floating disk I got confused at the problem and only now realized the mythic version actually allows you to fly. Yes so it can keep all the other things it does at mythic except it still needs to be close to the ground.

Elise of the Red Hill |

Hello again! This is Lessah and this is the Bloodrager I was speaking of!
Both the crunch and fluff are done (but I could probably elaborate the fluff a bit more). I intentionally left the last pieces of the backstory a little bit vague since you had something in mind to connect our characters and I felt it was easier to integrate the backstory in the campaign if/when I know what that "it" is : )
Regarding motivation the slaying of a Linnorm is more of a deep-seated motivation that powers Elise forward in her quest for more power and not something I actually expect to achieve - they are after all maybe a tad bit out of the E6 scope. And on the same topic, her ascension being that she has dragonblood in her veins and not any connection to an actual god felt appropriate since a proper (old) dragon feels kindof mythic in the E6 campain. If any of these assumptions are flawed please let me know and I will rework that part.
As always when posting characters on the internet - any feedback is appreciated - and I would love if you could give your two cents, so to speak, about Elise.

Dreyyn |

Here is Tenro's finalized submission. Warlord 3, Mythic Champion Tier 1.
Some quick facts:
-He is primarily a melee combatant
-Decent base AC (18) with some abilities that temporarily boost it
-He has some support abilities (boost ally saves, share teamwork feats, etc)
-Has max ranks in Diplomacy and Sense Motive paired with a good charisma
-Decent damage
-Put some effort into him having good mobility despite medium armor
-I put full text for all the playtest disciplines/stances/maneuvers/etc for ease of reference
Appearance
Dreyyn appears as is typical for a member of one of the "less civilized" Lung Wa successor states. Lacking the high-born features prominent among coutiers across Tian Xia, but sufficiently different so as to seem somewhat exotic among Inner Sea locals. He has sandy blonde hair kept loose behind his head. He wears fine armor befitting a low noble, and has the bearing to match. Despite his brutish looks, he is a capable diplomat.
Backstory
Dreyyn hails from a kingdom in the south, and is the third son of the late king of one of the sixteen successor states of the Lung Wa dynasty. The lands they governed were primarily located on the fertile lowlands, with mountains to the north.
A few months after Dreyyn's sixteenth birthday, an open war had started. A few of the other successor states had banded together under one banner and were looking to bring the other states to heel. Within two years, the war had come to his kingdom's doorstep. His people, known to be as proud and courageous as Lions, had their share of warriors, but for the most part had kept their holdings balanced with those of the other fifteen states through trade and diplomacy. As such, they had only a militia of common folk and a much smaller elite guard. When the war came to the Lions, the gates were crashed almost instantly. Dreyyn's older brothers commanded the Palace Guard and the Border Patrol, respectively, with Dreyyn having not ascended to command yet as he was not yet of age.
The fact that the fighting had gotten this close to their father meant that one brother was dead and the other was routed, falling back to defend their father. The throne room doors burst open. Warriors clad in red armor rushed in, clashing with the king's personal guard, wearing their signature gold-etched breastplate. In the ensuing chaos of swords singing and men shouting, the commander of the enemy forces strode in and drew steel on Dreyyn's father. Dreyyn, in his zeal to earn a name for himself, leaped forward. Sword in hand, he advanced for what seemed like ages. The enemy commander, with a backhanded swipe of his blade, sundered Dreyyn's sword and sent him flying into a pedestal that displayed an ancestral double-bladed sword. When his vision cleared, the sword, rumored to have been wielded by his great-grandfather back when Lung Wa was still unified, had fallen into his lap. The blades were badly rusted, but still serviceable.
Having no other options, Dreyyn advanced again. His father was backed up to the throne, and one strike later, his blood flowed freely down the blade of the enemy commander as the king slowly slumped into the throne. In a moment of prowess beyond his ken, Dreyyn leaped at the enemy commander in an onslaught so sudden that Dreyyn could see the surprise in his eyes. Regaining composure an instant later with a sinister sneer, the enemy commander swatted at the boy. Dreyyn brought the ancestral blade to bear in a frantic block, then struck the sword itself, sundering the blade from the hilt with strength he had never known. True fear, not merely surprise, registered in the assassin's eyes. Dreyyn's guttural roar mixed cut short the beginnings of a plea for mercy from his foe as he brought down the blade, cutting through the man's collarbone and nearly severing his head and left arm in a single blow. As he drew the weapon out of the man's chest, the sounds of battle grew hushed and the layer of rust fell from the weapon. He looked around, and what remained of his father's men had gained the upper hand, bolstered by his roar. In a focused rage, he once again leaped into the fray, assisting what remained of his father's men in defeating the enemy forces.
Despite having survived the battle, there was much that needed to be done and little that could be done. His family was certainly dead. No kingdom left but a handful of soldiers and burning villages. He took what he could from his father and instructed the remaining men to take what was useful from their fallen enemies. Dreyyn couldn't give his father a proper burial, so the soaked the tapestries with oil and set the palace ablaze. He and his men then fought their way out of the palace and fled their kingdom, moving quickly to stay ahead of the advance of the enemy troops. The few of them that made it to port without succumbing to their wounds left Tian Xia on a ship as mercenaries, never to return.

Alþórel |

Okay, some minor tweaks.
After discussions wis 8 just did not make sense, so I have increased to 10.
Also I think Ear Piercing Scream is a better fit for the more subtle but dangerous magic so have gone with that. Would really love it if this could be flavored as a "lesser word" type spell.
I've specialized in Ear-Piercing Scream so it makes more sense for the character. This has meant putting off Arcane Strike.

GM_Radiance |

Well, Considering that I said I am going to go a little over the amount of my ideal players there were 8 fully completed applications before the deadline and they were all quite good. So I think my decision is easy, onwards in a game for those people!
Alþórel: Wizard - Archmage
Nethan: Psionic Wizard - Archmage
Lessah: Bloodrager - Champion
Amelia: Ranger/Fighter - Trickster
Tsadak: Bloodrager - Guardian
Dreyyn: Warlord - Champion
Jeremiah: Gunslinger - Champion
Tarondor: Oracle - Marshal
I am opening the main thread so you can dot it, I am a little under the weather today. Might have caught a bug from the 30+ person game I ran over the weekend so I shall take the time to make sure there aren't any silly mistakes in peoples builds before I start posting the beginning of the game tomorrow.

Alþórel |

Alþórel, are you going to be interested in casting up to 6th level spells? Obviously most of them will not be good for immediate combat situations since spell casting will take 1 hour even for (2) spell casters.
Not sure. That's a long way off! I'm more chasing a character feel than a particular goal at this point, and I've thought a lot more about Mythic abilities than anything else.
I think it is likely to be something worth pursuing though.Should we talk of what spells (and spell areas) we were each looking at doing?
While impressed by your comprehensive sheet I am not sure I can follow exactly what your niche is.
Am I right that you are going to have a lot of psychic abilities rather than spells per se? Do psychic abilities tend to fall into certain school equivalencies?

Nethan Ryon Akerman |

True that it may be a long way off but I want to make sure we work as a team within a team. If anything it is in the back of our minds, whether we pursue Ritual Magic or not.
As for my niche, CC and combat so your focus as Divination is great and if you can add Illusion to your spell repertoire that will even be better. That way we complement our opposition schools until we possibly decide to take Mythic Path Abilities to eliminate opposition schools.
As for Psychic Abilities, it is more that Nethan weaves arcane energy into meta energy. However, I also have power points I can use to manifest powers. The only down side to power points is that I have to take Psionic Feats to gain power points. As for schools, it does not fall into any schools but to keep transparency fair, I probably shouldn't or I cannot take power similar to my opposition school or pay double power points or spell slots for similar powers until of course I take the Mythic abilities to remove opposition schools. The other thing about my build, he can fight too so I can provide rear guard for us as well.
We should also try not to pick the same spells than we share them during down time.

Agree with that!
A little worried that we'd both end up with the same spellfocus (spellcraft) and therefore overlap, but I could put up with that, I suppose. I note we already have an enormous overlap with our skills.I was hoping to take Arcane Strike and Mythic Arcane Strike when possible.

Missing an acronym here, I think... CC? Close Combat? We are similar, aren't we...

I dunno, seems reasonable that that could be *why* you haven;t studied certain schools. Was more along the lines of the fact that bards (while theoretically school-neutral) have a lot of enchantment and illusion spells.
