Not sure what you mean? You can put a ioun stone in a wayfinder to gain it's benefit without it orbiting your head and you get a bonus depending on the stone. You cant have two active at once.

Right that's what I was referring to. There's method A for resonance where each stone has a predetermined benefit depending on its type and method B where you roll randomly to see what a stone does when you put it inside your wayfinder. It sounds like you want to do method A.

Are you okay with cracked/flawed stones having resonance? Normally there's a 25% chance for resonance on imperfect stones.

This was a rough weekend for me. I have a dnd session every weekend with my real life group and this friday two members were absent and they were brothers. The next day we found out that one of them the younger brother had killed himself. He had just turned 21 last month.

None of us ever saw it coming at all. He was the goofy member of the group that loved roleplaying a stupid half-dragon barbarian with 36 strenght and 5 intelligence.

He will be missed. Funeral is tomorrow wake is tonight.

Whew well I am officially a homeowner. My Gf and I just moved into our first house this weekend. I'm gonna miss the city but I do love the view and the nearby beach.

Tobias crouches on top of the roof contemplating his next mission. With righteous fury in his heart, he springs into action and silently leaps off the roof. Unfortunately he lands kinda funny and trips onto a duck. Its furious quacking alerts everyone in a mile radius to his presence.

In the abandoned building a giggle echoes in the darkness. And they said Duck of Warning was terrible idea.

What a great idea - toss out squeaking bath ducks like caltrips. Impossible to avoid them all. :)

My posting is going to be sporadic for a while as I will be travelling for the next two weeks (until September 7th) I am going to review and post in each of my games tonight before I go to bed.

I will do my best to continue posting just wanted to offer some warning.

I've been having a very hard time keeping up for a while now. I do apologise for that I do hope that things will calm down soon so I can get back into a routine of some kind right now everything is in a state of flux and I can barely remember to check in on Pathfinder.

I considered putting my games on pause for a while or closing some them down.

What are your thought on the matter?

I'd prefer not too but I can understand if your getting frustrated with my lack of posting. Alternatively If someone could send me a message or post something in ooc when I'm needed I would make an extra effort to check in on that game. When I do log in I usually focus on the tread that has the most recent posts.

I have barely had a chance to post in this one, but I hate to see it drop. I'll be traveling myself next week and will also be back on the 7th. I vote we try to move along slowly until then and that you make a call on or just after the 7th.

I'm around and I've been following the action. I think most of us were waiting for stuff to happen.

That said, if you're approaching a busy patch I'd rather you kill the game now rather than put the game on the backburner indefinitely. Most games don't recover from that kind of delay.

I have no problems with a slow paced game... I have enough games that I'm checking every day and am aware of what's going on. I have a couple of more active ones and if they were all like that I would be in trouble. Real life always takes priority over a game though. If you feel like you're going to need to end the game than that is more than understandable. Either way I'm good and have no hard feelings.

I always prefer pauses to shutting down the game entirely but I understand if we can't keep going. Still my vote is for continuing when everyone can.

I will continue to run the game and post as often as I can for now.

Met Stan lee, Mark hamill, william shatner, john barrowman, Christoper lloyd, Morena Baccarin, Alex kingston, Kate Mulgrew, George Takei, Brent Spiner, Scott wilson, Alan Tudyk (he was great took a photo with him) and Jewel Staite. Got a lot of autographs and some photos. I also had a rather long conversation with Ron Rubin, great guy.

Saw The cn tower in toronto ate at the 360 restaurant, visited the aquarium and a few other attractions and made a trip to niagara falls as well.

Overall was a pretty great trip.

I hope so. I will be more active in any case checking in once every 1-2 days. If activity increase a lot I will try to check in daily.

I'm here every day except Saturday. I'm really sorry about Friday, had a one-time engagement.

I am checking in today and will check in when I can but next few days will be difficult. My girlfriend's mother is in critical condition at the hospital because of a brain tumour that wasn't discovered until 3 days ago and they don't expect her to survive the next few days. I just got back from the hospital myself and my girlfriend has been there for 3 days straight refusing to leave her mothers side.

That is terrible. So sorry to hear. My prayers are with you.

Heads up: I will be in Ireland (I'm from the U.S.) for the next week or so so posting may be spotty but I'm still here.

I'll be camping starting tomorrow and will not be back until Monday. I am not sure I will even have cell service where I am headed. Have a good weekend.

So here is what I am thinking.

since activity has died out a bit. I want to reboot the campaign.

Recruit some new players move the timeline ahead 2 weeks or so and move you up to level 5.

The evil campaign that runs parallel to yours has also stalled a bit and lost two players so I will do the same there. Moving things ahead like this will also bring about the pvp aspect I had planned on earlier.

As at this rate it will be months before any confrontation happens I wanted some time for you to roleplay and develop your character a bit before we got to the pvp stuff but I overdid it and then I was hit with a bunch of unexpected stuff (mother in law having cancer and work stuff and all that)

So what do you think?

The other team seems on-board with the idea. I wont reboot right away but will start recruiting now.

I'm okay with that. I think I have some idea of what every character is like on our team. I'm also excited for a new spell level :P

I'm not opposed to the idea. Does that mean that we're going to jump into book 2?
