Mr. Weasel stands on his hind-legs to sniff at Syksy once more before scampering off to disappear on another shelf behind odds and ends. Aurora doesn't seem particularly concerned with Silian's comments one way or the other as she continues moving throughout the rooms.
You make your way back to the Cracked Mirror. Give me a rundown of what you want to do in say, the next week game time before moving forward.

After a week filled working on your various projects, wooing your love interests, and quite possibly more group orgies the group finds themselves feeling restless.
While returning to the Cracked Mirror, an owl drops from the sky and lands on Garotte's shoulder. The smokey gray and tawny bird wears a harness, and attached to the harness is a small scroll case. The owl screeches once and then begins to preen itself from his Warforged perch.
DM Twilight |
Once unburdened, the owl screeches once more before pushing itself off of Garotte and returning to the skies.
Dear Friends,
I hope this message finds you well. I left word for you at the House Sivis message station in the Barmin Tower but have since learned that there was an attack on the station, and your message stolen.
I find myself in the curious position of seeking out your aid once more. I believe that our enemies have discovered me and are closing in. Please, meet me tonight at the place we first spoke. I believe that we are all in terrible danger!
Your patron,
Lady E.

After a week filled working on your various projects, wooing your love interests, and quite possibly more group orgies the group finds themselves feeling restless.
Hey, hey now, Syksy isn't restless from group orgies nor from helping the others woo their love interests.
While eating Sysky can't help but stop and fawn over the small owl as it lands on the Warforged's shoulders, though he is let down when it just as quickly leaves.
"What's it say Garrote? Unless it was just meant for you, then never sorry for prying." he says as he goes back to eating, letting his tongue simply loll out to grip a stray piece of fruit to bring back to his mouth for chewing.
DM Twilight |
OK, I left it open for you to have a couple of options here by tweaking things a little. I'm considering it early enough in the day that if you want to play through going to the message station to 'investigate' you can (but don't have to) or we can simply fast forward to the evening and you can meet with the Lady.
Silian d'Thuranni |
Silian furrows his brow, "We have until the evening to prepare. I would like to check the Sivis station, there might be clues as to who or what ransacked the place. Or better yet, witnesses. I am sure the Watch has scoured over it already, but since it is the Watch we can rely upon them missing clues." Silian adjusts his cloak. "Anyone care to join me? It beats attempting to stay dry or drinking away the day."
Akasha |
As the others go to gather their gear, Akasha finds Jessamin, giving her the details of the letter. "So apparently we're being targeted. We're gearing up to go meet Lady Elaydren, figure out who we need to take down. I know I don't need to tell you this, but you know I'll say it anyway. Watch your back, I don't know if they'll try to target people we care about or not."

No one is disagreeing with Silian, so I'm assuming you're going to checkout the message station.
Jess pouts lightly, "You're leaving again? It's boring here without you. I'll be careful though, I promise."
Jessamin pulls Akasha to her and presses her lips to Akasha's.

As you make your way to Barmin Tower the skies of Sharn open up once more and begin to soak you with rain. Thunder rolls in the distance when you arrive at the House Sivis message station. A rain-soaked gnome balances on a ladder outside the door, hammering uselessly at the hinges. The door hangs at an odd angle and it is clear the gnome is not helping matters.
DM Twilight |
The gnome turns to look over his shoulder at Syksy. He scurries down off of the ladder and puts his hammer down on one of the rungs. He stops to look at Jonah with a strange expression on his face when Jonah speaks.
"Well of course I heard him..."
He turns back to look at Syksy again and says, "Hello and welcome to the House Sivis message station. Thank you, you are kind but I'm sure we'll manage. We'll have this place back in proper shape in no time."
He carefully pulls the door open, letting it lean on the wall before gesturing you inside.
"Let's get you inside where it's drier... mostly. You'll forgive the mess, won't you? We had a bit of trouble yesterday and we're still getting things cleaned up."
Silian d'Thuranni |
Silian steps inside, shaking his cloak at the entrance to keep as much from dripping as possible. "Yes, we had heard, actually. What kind of trouble, if we may ask?"
Taking his time, Silian looks around the message station, looking for missed details or more pieces to the puzzle, but is more focused on who kicked in the door.

Inside, a female gnome sits behind the counter, her arm wrapped in a sling and bruises show fresh on her skin. Still, she smiles and greets your warmly as you walk in.
Smashed tables have been pushed into a corner, and other tables still lay knocked over. A few others seem to have been lifted back upright but left scattered in the middle of the floor. Various bits of parchment and other debris have been swept into a pile next to the broken wood as well. Spilled ink stains the floor in several places.
"Rewyn was the only one here when it happened," he indicates the gnome behind the counter, "I believe the only thing taken was a single message. They didn't even take the gold."

"Among the rubble are sling stones. Smaller prints are unknown... parchment was crushed by warforged foot. One of the followers Silian mentioned?" The enforcer ends its statement with an inquiry for once.
Silian d'Thuranni |
Silian looks at the sling stones, "Yeah, I doubt the pesky little kobolds could kick in the door like that... glad to see the Watch did such a bang up job." Silian turns to Rewyn, "Were you able to transcribe the message before it was taken? What do you remember, of the message or your attackers? If you need that arm looked at, I would be happy to help."

"Hmm..so warforged acting as the muscle for kobolds. This has the kind of focus of someone dangerous, only going after a single message" Akasha mutters as the others sift through the clues. She runs through ideas of the possible parties responsible for the attack.

"No, I didn't get a very good look at the tall one. He was wrapped up in a cloak. The kobolds on the other hand, I saw them just fine. There were four of them ransacking the place. The tall one ordered them around and they listened to whatever he told them to do without question. He had a deep, rumbling voice that was strong and threatening."
She shifts around in her chair nervously. "Yes, the message had been transcribed but you must understand that we're trained to forget a message as soon as it's transcribed. Even if I did remember anything about it, I'm sworn not to give someone's message to anyone else."
"Was there something we can help you with today? Did you have a message of your own to send, or are you expecting to receive a message?"
