Male Fell Tiefling Fighter/Monk/Magus 12(tristalt)

all of your stats will be 4s and can nvr increase lol. Anyways, I'm at work via my cell, and want to wait till I get home to post so I get all my numbers right lol.

Male Human(Lich) Cleric 3, Wizard 3, Mystic Theurge 4

Glad I can be permanently reborn as a litch, sucks if I loose all my magic items though, especially since my character is so much weaker then everyone elses haha

Male Fell Tiefling Fighter/Monk/Magus 12(tristalt)

I have a vague memory of somebody activating Inspire something or another, is that correct? I think ima need all the bonuses I can get, lol

Minor Crab-beast

Murmur hasn't been performing for a while and has since moved away from the 'blast zone' in Stealth, so no bonuses for that unfortunately.

Female Human (ghost) Shadow Sorcerer 10

Just woke up and checking in. Are we all dead...LIke really dead yet?

Minor Crab-beast

The death or un-death or un-un-death is still pending Gathroc's action...

Time to save us all, Gathroc.

No pressure. ;-)

Male Fell Tiefling Fighter/Monk/Magus 12(tristalt)

Gathroc is tempoarily out of commission due to working at a grocery store in an area preppin to get hit my Hurricane Irene. Not sure when he'll be available.

Male Human(Lich) Cleric 3, Wizard 3, Mystic Theurge 4

sounds like a perfectly valid excuse to me.

Male Fell Tiefling Fighter/Monk/Magus 12(tristalt)

As soon as he appears next to the gnome, Gathroc attempts to take it's head off. 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (14) + 24 = 38 Power Attacking, Vital Strike

2d10 + 29 + 1d6 + 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) + 29 + (2) + (4, 1) = 45

Not sure if it matters, but I didn't do my math right in regards to damage my first few attacks. The last one, and this one should be correct, but the prior few are at least some what less than what I should have done

Murmur stays where he is on the stairs and uses another charge of his wand.

Wand of Inflict Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Current hp: 64/198

Minor Crab-beast

Ignac lunges for the staff, though Thispindix is able to twist away from his hands and keep his grip on it. Gathroc's blade strikes home a wicked blow, but it insufficient to kill the gnome.

With a wry smile and triumphant cry the gnome brings his staff down unto his knee, snapping it in twain like a twig and causing a burst of light to spray forth filling the 10ft cube of force with an almost solid mass of writhing arcane energy.....

Male Human(Lich) Cleric 3, Wizard 3, Mystic Theurge 4

If I have time to do anything before the staff goes off I would like to cast resistance on myself and then move away from the explosion, even though I am already a decent distance away. If not then oh well, haha. dang, I hate loosing magic stuff to explosions

Female Human (ghost) Shadow Sorcerer 10

The instant she realizes the gnome isn't killed she screams an arcane word with her hands still on her companions and visualizes the catacombs.

SHe may not have time, but she's trying to teleport herself and her two fighters out of the blast range. She figures the catacombs are far enough. Dare to dream.

Minor Crab-beast

Vesta, Gathroc, Ignac:
Give me a Reflex Save

Female Human (ghost) Shadow Sorcerer 10

Ref1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22

Male Fell Tiefling Fighter/Monk/Magus 12(tristalt)

Just curious, did the gnome negate most of the damage from before he disappeared? cuz of my own screw up, he should have taken upwards of an extra 20+ dmg, which may or may not matter

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 Ref

If that's not enough to at least sorta save me, nothing is

Male Human Graveknight Armiger 10

Reflex:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Soo..... I made it, right?:P In any case, I take half damage. Hopefully he used a bunch of charges.

Minor Crab-beast

Gathroc - yep, when the contingency went off the gnome got healed up as well.

A few moments after the cube fills with arcane energy, the three within it notice a void expanding from the center. Gathroc is quick enough to throw himself to the side, but both Ignac and Vesta are caught up in it.

Those in the room (and Gathroc) see Thispindix, Vesta and Ignac disappear from sight - leaving behind nothing but a slight smell of brimstone. The room is quiet and nothing stirs.

Vesta and Ignac:
As the void expands it swallows you up in its breadth. A sucking feeling and sound occur and then you are spat out into reality once more.

There is a breeze upon your face and you feel the heat of the sun. As you look around you catch a glimpse of the back of the gnome as he flies away with speed - a hint of laughter on the breeze. Puzzled, you look around a little further and notice something troubling....

You seem to be about two hundred feet above the tower, and the laws of physics have just reminded you about gravity as it takes over and you begin to plummet...

Vesta - I realise that this is more a problem for Ignac than you :)

Male Human(Lich) Cleric 3, Wizard 3, Mystic Theurge 4

I look over at where the gnome and my allies were and shrug my shoulders. "It looks like the gnome really is gone this time, let us see if we can find this book that we are looking for. Are you alright Gathroc?"

I begin to scan the room for a way to the next area, or anything useful.
perception 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (13) + 25 = 38

Female Human (ghost) Shadow Sorcerer 10

DM & Ignac:
How far away is the gnome exactly?

Minor Crab-beast

Vesta:
The gnome is 60ft away

sorry Ignac vesta moves 30' toward the gome and casts fraction of heal and harm plus fireball. Fireball 9d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 3, 6, 4, 4, 6, 6, 5) = 43 I'm on my phone so I'll figure out the fraction of heal and harm when I get home edit: he takes 75% of the damage and I heal 25%. Edit2: gnome takes 32 I heal 11.

Male Human Graveknight Armiger 10

Vesta:
It's fine. I'll most likely survive the 20d6 falling damage.

if Ignac doesn't plummet to his death next round I'll telekinetically grab him.

Male Fell Tiefling Fighter/Monk/Magus 12(tristalt)

Gathroc gets up from where he had thrown himself to ground. He looks around at the damage the explosion caused "I'll be fine in a few minutes. I do not know about Vesta and Ignac however. Find that book, and then we'll deal with the fallout" Already, his wounds are starting to close thanks to his particular undead nature.

1d20 + 23 ⇒ (8) + 23 = 31 Perception

Minor Crab-beast

Vesta and Ignac:
As Vesta forsakes her companion to gravity and chases the gnome, Ignac starts his precipitous fall back to his other companions... 20d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 5, 1, 4, 1, 6, 1, 1, 4, 5, 5, 6, 1, 5, 2, 5, 5, 3, 1) = 66 worth of fall damage, and I'll RP your re-entry into the Gnome's bedchamber shortly

Vesta's fireball bursts around the gnome, causing him some discomfort - but more dangerously garnering his attention. Turning to face Vesta for a few moments, he incants quickly causing twin sets of five magical bolts to sweep out towards her. He then resumes his flight. 90ft away from you now, and Ignac is beyond your help.

The force bolts slam through your form, attacking the very energy that holds you together. 5d4 + 4 + 5d4 + 5 ⇒ (2, 4, 2, 1, 4) + 4 + (4, 1, 2, 1, 4) + 5 = 34 force damage

Daemon and Gathroc begin their investigation of the gnome's bedchamber. Murmur and Gabriel?

'Male' Crawling Claw (Human) Rogue 10

What is going on up there? Have you neutralised the Gnome?

Gabriel is not going to go anywhere that is not 'safe', for the moment, as he is quite close to destruction ;-)

Female Human (ghost) Shadow Sorcerer 10

DM:
Vesta Casts shield on herself. SHe then proceeds to move 40' closer to the gnome. (she's still hasted from the fight. I had forgotten earlier but she's not using all her movement because she wants him to think he can outrun her) (Is this supposed to be a recurring villian or do I have a chance of killing him?)

Minor Crab-beast

Vesta:
He can cast one or two more of the spell that he cast when you first opened the door - so fair to say that he would probably have the best of you one on one.
There is loot to be had in his tower yet, and he 'may' be back for a second helping of whoopass later where he doesn't have such an ascendancy (prepped in his tower, etc)...

After considering her situation Vesta thinks to herself, "I'm immortal. I can afford to bide my time." Vesta then turns to head back toward where Ignac's body fell to. She'll use her wand of inflict light wounds to heal herself every round until she gets there. (Just let me know how many rounds that is.)[/i]

Minor Crab-beast

After only a number of scant seconds since Ignac disappeared, he makes a re-appearance. With an almighty crash and spray of bricks he punches through the roof and splays out on the floor of the bedchamber.

Daemon and Gathroc:
Apart from the chest at the foot of the bed, there is also a number of bookcases and a writing desk. There is some correspondence on top of the desk.

General comment - the danger has passed, so things don't need to play out in round order anymore. If you want to burn wand charges / heal up with the help of Daemon, please feel free

Female Human (ghost) Shadow Sorcerer 10

(disregard the wand charges thing)
A few moments after Ignac crashes through the roof Vesta floats down through the same hole and she looks like hell. Most of her ectoplasm looks like it's barely hanging on. Pieces of it actually float away at the ends. Daemon, could you please patch me up a bit? I'm a bit undignified at the moment, even more than usual. Some of the others don't look well either, more than usual.

Male Fell Tiefling Fighter/Monk/Magus 12(tristalt)

Gathroc moves over to the bookshelves and begins looking over the titles. "Do not waste your healing on me. In another minute or two I'll be fine.

Male Human Graveknight Armiger 10

"Hey guys, I'm back. Did you miss me? In any case, we were teleported probably about 200 feet straight up, from whence I began my fall. That was quite painful, could you give me a couple negative energy pulses, Daemon?"

Ignac looks quite disheveled from the drop, as well as the overall battle.

Current HP:49/158
DM, if you're wondering why I only marked 64 damage onto my HP total, I have DR 2/-.

Hurricane Irene knocked out my internet/cable, so I won't be posting as often as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Male Human(Lich) Cleric 3, Wizard 3, Mystic Theurge 4

"Everyone who needs healing gather around then we can tear this tower to pieces and discover what we will"

I will Inflict moderate wounds (2d8+9) on the lesser injured or inflict serious wounds (3d8+9) for the more damaged party members and I will finish up with a channel energy (2d6 for group) if anyone needs more healing after that. I have 3 Inflict serious or 5 Inflict moderate available so let me know who is injured

Female Human (ghost) Shadow Sorcerer 10

Female Human (ghost) Shadow Sorcerer 10

I'm barely holding myself together. ALthough I fully support tearing this place apart. I would have continued to chase him had I been less injured.
13/119 HP

'Male' Crawling Claw (Human) Rogue 10

I am quite happy to gather around for healing.

15/180 hp

Murmur investigates the crash as Ignác makes his reappearance. With a shake of his head, he joins the others awaiting healing.

Current HP: 64/198

Minor Crab-beast

Gathroc:
The books on the shelves seem predominately mundane, talking of engineering or alchemy. You find a couple of scroll tubes that look to be intact and full, as well as a book that has an intriguing treatise on the fabrication of a flesh golem, but nothing that resembles a history text.

Male Human(Lich) Cleric 3, Wizard 3, Mystic Theurge 4

Vesta and Gabriel, (Inflict serious x2)
Vesta 6d8 + 18 ⇒ (3, 1, 1, 3, 3, 7) + 18 = 36
Gabriel 6d8 + 18 ⇒ (8, 8, 3, 1, 2, 3) + 18 = 43

Murmur (Inflict moderate x2) 4d8 + 18 ⇒ (1, 6, 7, 1) + 18 = 33

Channel energy (for everyone) 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9

Ignac do you have fast healing or do you need healing as well? I will burn some more when I get home from work, those rolls where pretty terrible.

Female Human (ghost) Shadow Sorcerer 10

Vesta then pulls out a wand of inflict light wounds and starts casting on herself

Inflict light wounds wand:
3 Chgs =3d8 + 3 ⇒ (4, 2, 5) + 3 = 14
3 more Chgs =3d8 + 3 ⇒ (8, 6, 2) + 3 = 19
Yet 3 more Chgs =3d8 + 3 ⇒ (6, 8, 8) + 3 = 25

Vesta then looks around, "Anyone else?"

I have a lot of charges, so feel free to take the liberty to roll your own heals and indicate the number of charges. it's 1d8+1 per charge.

Male Human Graveknight Armiger 10

Daemon, I do not have fast healing. With the burst, I'm only 100 HP down.

"I'll take a few of those if you don't mind, Vesta."

1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

86/158

Ignac looks significantly better, but there are still pieces of flesh hanging where they shouldn't be.

Minor Crab-beast

Just for clarification, Gathroc has picked through the bookshelf. The two remaining locations for loot / information are the writing desk and the footlocker.

When vesta is done with whatever inflict wand usage she'll check th desk and footlocker. She will go so far as to put her hand through the items to feel for secrete compartments as well as look for them.
