The barmaid shudders

"'Tis not an honest thing of steel and cogs, sirrah. 'Tis a bound spirit, encased in its dark prison. The Elder Ones knew many dread powers and dark arts that have been lost since the Fall of Shiva. As to why it opens its doors, well, it keeps its secrets close."

"Robots or spirits, we've got to deal with them either way. Can't let this sort of thing stand."

OMNU?

"Shiva? Don't quite fit in with the whole medieval thing you've got going on here..."

OMNU?

Have a look back around page 37. It was that area we passed through run by a net of artificial intelligence. Think SkyNet without the terminators and need to kill humanity.

Right. I remember that. Thanks.

"Right," Germain says, "we'll see what we can do about slaying this genie young lady. Some of us may not look very dashing but we're capable in a fight. Slaying evil is our specialty!"

Okay I'm off, I'm on vacation for about a month, I'll trust someone to play Germain for me. She likes to sneak where ever possible but she's absolutely ruthless in combat. I might be able to post here and there but I can't make any promises.

Bumping this to keep it outta archives. I think pretty much everyone is busy elsewhere, so shout out when you want to resume.

I'm still alive. last week rough, this week rough. Next week back to happy again.

Still here. Next couple of weeks are going to be killer, but I should be good after that.

OK, let's put this on hiatus for the nonce. I have company coming in, and I won't be posting much till next week anyway.

<Pulls out a cheroot.>

Likewise. Not a problem at all.

"You guys up for some genie slaying," Gemain asks, pulling out her pistol and checking the sights, "I figure we could secure you your supplies Coca and then you'd only need to worry about manpower. Then we can focus on my mission."

We'll pick this up when you're ready Pat! No worries

Nostalgia bump

I miss Germain. Evil was never in a more inconspicuous package.

"Dis iz wot Coca iz gona say. Respek. Yous may be hot, little bichie, but yous'z seriously frigin scary."

"Who me?" Germain asks in her innocent voice, "I'm onwy widdle."

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Another nostaligia bump
