Sorry folks, I keep kivvying on this, as I know K is out and I'm not sure if Larcifer is back around. Can we just hold the action here for a bit? I have a lot of irons in the fire ATM and I really think we should wait a bit .. thoughts?
I have no huge problems with this, I'd like to see the story advance though, and it seems combat is slowing us down.

Saturday my wife and I delivered our baby boy at 23 weeks, he survived for 1 hour and 20 mins before he died in my arms, We will continue on and cherish him. for those of you who did not know, he was diagnosed at 18 weeks with Holoproencephalpathy, basically his forebrain did not develop. It was a joyous hour and 20 mins that I had to spend with my son. I now know the meaning of family. I am still unable to be a regular poster, my priority is my wife.

You have your priorities in the right order. I'm very sorry for your loss Larcifer. There's nothing worse then loosing a child. I wish there were something I could say or do to help ease your pain but life isn't that easy. I hope you have strength and loved ones around you. My heart goes out to you.

Larcifer, I am so sorry. I know words cannot help what you are going through, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife at this sad time. Whenever you have taken care of what must be dealt with in RL, know that your place is always open at my virtual table.

I am sorry I have let this game founder, but between Kruelaid's absence and Larcifer's tradgedy, I think we need to take a break. I love this game and I want to continue it, I just need a break until the beginning of September. My own life is fairly hectic ATM, and I just can't face DMPC half the party. I will keep you posted...

I am away from Friday 11th for 4-5 days on my buying trip, going to have to stare at loads of women on cat walks, it's a hard life but some one has to do it.
Sounds like a fun time ADMaE. I apologize for not being timely about this game folks, I've been working my @ss off painting my house and I just haven't had a lot of time. I will review the battle notes I have today and we will return to the slaughter this weekend. I will get things set up so that Sherman can return and pepper the vulture freaks with some solid lead..

OK, this game is sputtering. I am of a mind to do a massive hard-reboot. Scratch the vulture fight, just get going on travelling and see who is still posting. Otherwise, this game is toast I think. After I see who is posting, I will open up recruitment to get some more folks into the game and hopefully reinfuse it ...
After a hard-fought battle, the intrepid party has vanquished the evil K'raawn vultureoids and made the area safe for Bartleby and his Neebo chums. After a congratulatory feast, the group saddles up and resumes their travels south towards the mysterious OMNUS and the Happy Valley Collectivist State.
Anyone still interested, post up soonish. I am going to fill in the gaps from whoever is missing ..

The party is amazed at the sangfroid of their new member. She packs a lot of ruthlessness into such a cute package.
As the group travels on, They emerge from the Sunderland Arcology ruins and follow the Neticut River on an ancient duralloy road. Despite the durability of the nanotube-structured material, the road has been cracked and fissured in several places. Occasional signs with multiple bullet holes read Route 47. The buildings hereabout look to be mostly total losses, but also a lot of the junk the party is used to seeing on the road is absent. There are no ruined aircars or any large metallic items to be seen. The party walks on for most of the day until they come upon a much more recent-looking sign pounded into the shoulder of the old duralloy road.
Entering Russelville
All travellers must contact the sherf's office
We accept gold and HVCS credits
Missionaries not welcome
Beyond the sign down the road a bit is what looks to be a toll gate with a small stone keep nearby. Smoke exudes from the keep's chiminey.

"We sure do!" Germain giggles, easily sliding back into her childish facade, and seemingly in stark contrast to the brutal emotionless killing machine witnessed in the tower, "I sure hope we don't come across any more of those vultures though. They were scary!"
Germain will grab one of the rifles salvaged from their vanquished foes. Her own ammo is rare to none existent on the surface and she'll need something to take care of the mooks.
