Readied action: shoot when opponent moves. Move action: Spot check for hidden opponents.

1d20+3=13, 1d20+8=20, 2d8=7

Roll of 10 for group initiative.

Germain rolls a 20 to hit and 7 damage if she does hit.

Male Human Tough hero 3/ Thrasher 2

Commence robo-baiting!

Roach steps into the street before lobbing a rock in the general direction of the guard-bot.

Move to Z26. I'm not trying to hit the robot, just get its attention - I'm aiming in the general area of M20. Attack roll (if necessary) 13+5=18.

Roach's stone gets the rusty brute's attention. It hoots and clanks towards him, swiveling its sensor turret forward

Will write up action in morn, post any attacks or moves.

Sorry folks, I keep kivvying on this, as I know K is out and I'm not sure if Larcifer is back around. Can we just hold the action here for a bit? I have a lot of irons in the fire ATM and I really think we should wait a bit .. thoughts?

I have no huge problems with this, I'd like to see the story advance though, and it seems combat is slowing us down.

Just to let you know I am active and checking every day, but I am happy to wait for the others to get back as it is also my busy season at work.

I am contemplating running the scenario in a simplified form. I will keep y'all posted. I am still committed to keeping this game moving.

Bump. Keeping it from the bottom of the page and the archives

Saturday my wife and I delivered our baby boy at 23 weeks, he survived for 1 hour and 20 mins before he died in my arms, We will continue on and cherish him. for those of you who did not know, he was diagnosed at 18 weeks with Holoproencephalpathy, basically his forebrain did not develop. It was a joyous hour and 20 mins that I had to spend with my son. I now know the meaning of family. I am still unable to be a regular poster, my priority is my wife.

You have your priorities in the right order. I'm very sorry for your loss Larcifer. There's nothing worse then loosing a child. I wish there were something I could say or do to help ease your pain but life isn't that easy. I hope you have strength and loved ones around you. My heart goes out to you.

Larcifer, I am so sorry. I know words cannot help what you are going through, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife at this sad time. Whenever you have taken care of what must be dealt with in RL, know that your place is always open at my virtual table.

I am sorry for your loss. There is little anyone can say except to share comfort in your time of need.

Wow. That's terrible. My condolences to you and your wife.

I am sorry for your loss as well, please accept my deepest condolences.

I am away for 8 days from Thursday night and will not be able to post in that time.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I am sorry I have let this game founder, but between Kruelaid's absence and Larcifer's tradgedy, I think we need to take a break. I love this game and I want to continue it, I just need a break until the beginning of September. My own life is fairly hectic ATM, and I just can't face DMPC half the party. I will keep you posted...

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Just a quick bump to say I'm still onboard with starting this game up in Sept. Larcifer should be back on next week, and I can deal with running Coca as an NPC

Sounds good!

Good to know! Ok, so Hurricane Bill is going to hit Nova Scotia tomorrow, to what extent we don't know yet but there is a strong possibility of us loosing power and internet. I could be gone for a couple of days. Just giving everyone a heads up.

Heavy rain, the power flickered, but other then that Bill's been no big deal and I think he's moving out of the area. Thanks for the concern people but thankfully Bill was no Juan

Appears as and is a functional Female Synthetic Smart Hero / 3; Technomage 2

hey I am back...I know its not septemebr , but when the mutan madness begins this android is back

Awesome! I will start looking over Coca's stats and we can begin the buzzard battle forthwith!

Still lurking, anyone heard off Coca?

He did drop in a few weeks ago, but RL has ramped up for him and I don't think he's going to have the time for a lot of PbPing. I'm gonna have to DMPC him. I do plan on getting this party started soon, hopefully over the holiday weekend :)

Dun dun duuuuuuun

I am going over stuff, just need a bit more and I will post up tomorrow some fun. Vulture brawl awaits!

I am away from Friday 11th for 4-5 days on my buying trip, going to have to stare at loads of women on cat walks, it's a hard life but some one has to do it.

Sounds like a fun time ADMaE. I apologize for not being timely about this game folks, I've been working my @ss off painting my house and I just haven't had a lot of time. I will review the battle notes I have today and we will return to the slaughter this weekend. I will get things set up so that Sherman can return and pepper the vulture freaks with some solid lead..

I said "Dun dun Duuuun"

Better then saying bump . . .

I know, slacking, but ALL THREE of my other games are currently in battle mode. Ugh, I will try to get up and moving tonight with this game, promise

Sigh. I'm sorry folks. Trying to juggle many chainsaws at the moment. I am going to get this thing rebooted, I SWEAR. I'm just not sure when ..

Germain checks her targeting information.

The large rusty robot clanks towards Roach's thrown stone.

Let's see where we are at with this, do or die!

I need a group initiative!

*thud*

Attack roll 13+5=AC 18, damage 9.

Just bumping to see if we can get a few of the folks back in the game,

The robot clanks nearer

Sherman looks around at his companions and holds his shots until the robot gets a bit more into range.

"Marley mon, I be tellin ya to get out of da bad man's sight." he whispers to the plant.

OK, this game is sputtering. I am of a mind to do a massive hard-reboot. Scratch the vulture fight, just get going on travelling and see who is still posting. Otherwise, this game is toast I think. After I see who is posting, I will open up recruitment to get some more folks into the game and hopefully reinfuse it ...

After a hard-fought battle, the intrepid party has vanquished the evil K'raawn vultureoids and made the area safe for Bartleby and his Neebo chums. After a congratulatory feast, the group saddles up and resumes their travels south towards the mysterious OMNUS and the Happy Valley Collectivist State.

Anyone still interested, post up soonish. I am going to fill in the gaps from whoever is missing ..

Germain proves herself not only efficient but also extraordinarily ruthless in battle. She dispatches every foe she comes across, making sure they're dead either by putting a bullet in the head or using her knife to slit their throats. She's like an adorable little killing machine.

The party is amazed at the sangfroid of their new member. She packs a lot of ruthlessness into such a cute package.

As the group travels on, They emerge from the Sunderland Arcology ruins and follow the Neticut River on an ancient duralloy road. Despite the durability of the nanotube-structured material, the road has been cracked and fissured in several places. Occasional signs with multiple bullet holes read Route 47. The buildings hereabout look to be mostly total losses, but also a lot of the junk the party is used to seeing on the road is absent. There are no ruined aircars or any large metallic items to be seen. The party walks on for most of the day until they come upon a much more recent-looking sign pounded into the shoulder of the old duralloy road.

Entering Russelville
All travellers must contact the sherf's office
We accept gold and HVCS credits
Missionaries not welcome

Beyond the sign down the road a bit is what looks to be a toll gate with a small stone keep nearby. Smoke exudes from the keep's chiminey.

Bump for visibility

Male Human Tough hero 3/ Thrasher 2

Hey, it lives!

"Ah, that was nasty fight. We sure have some good stories to tell now!"

"We sure do!" Germain giggles, easily sliding back into her childish facade, and seemingly in stark contrast to the brutal emotionless killing machine witnessed in the tower, "I sure hope we don't come across any more of those vultures though. They were scary!"

Germain will grab one of the rifles salvaged from their vanquished foes. Her own ammo is rare to none existent on the surface and she'll need something to take care of the mooks.

Sherman holds one of his wounded arms cradled in a sling, "Ah, ye, dey put up a bad fight, i should drink fe our victory."

He takes a long tug on a very big joint and looks at the others contently.

OK, three so far. I think that might be it. Any thoughts on recruitment?

How goes the recruitment

Germain looks at the sign.

"Do you suppose that means us?" Germain asks using her innocent voice, "I wouldn't want to get into trouble."
