Alathea Sedai |

Will save, 17 needed...1d20 + 14 ⇒ (6) + 14 = 20...I made it, despite the way the dice are rolling tonight!
Alathea trembles with fear at the Fetch's gaze, but pushes her fear down.. Despite her intense dislike of the woman, the Aes Sedai's directions seem as sound as any, and she complies withonly a scowl in her direction and pulls Tesliin to the column. Once there, she reaches out and releases the catch on Moira's collar. "You are in the same danger as we are, yes? Then fight alongside us!"

Kodokura |

Will Save: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31
The Borderlander's eyes widen at the sight of the Fade, but he turns his fear into anger, gripping his sword hilt even tighter.
Kodokura will accompany the Aes Sedai and Alathea to the column, looking to protect them with his blade (as best he can)if necessary.

vala: ummm no. play through the pain :)
Fia, holding back from attacking
Charging in together, Ryland and vala swing at the woman, ryland doing a basic swing and Vala seeking to end the attack quickly. The woman sidesteps the rylands attack and tilts her head, allowing the blade to swish the air over her head. The only one able to hit her is Rhoekk, rushing forward and jabbing at her thigh. Expecting to deal massive damage, the woman flows with the hit, denying Rhoekk his truly savage blow.
rhoekk, you hit, but you're not able to apply the sneak attack damage
The matron stares at Alathea. Free? Me? It has finally happened! Over 400 years of being leashed, and now i am free!Tears begin to stream down her face as the full implication of what Alathea has done hits her.
Looking at the tables, the Matron scans the contents. Nodding, she sprints to a table, and grasps a small statue, and then a green and white rod.

Vala " the Swan" |

Okay can do
Vala drops to her knee and than thrusts out as she executes Lizard in the Thornbush, dropping out of sight of the Fade, and seeking to impale the woman with her blade
Blade Sense1d20 + 14 ⇒ (12) + 14 = 26

Fiallain Bo'airr |

gotcha
Fia pales under the gaze of the Myrddral, her palms going sweaty. She stands frozen as a wave of fear washes through her, then grits her teeth and forces herself to action as the others push past her. Go on fool, you've faced these and others before and seen them die too. One foot moves forward, then another and then she's running towards the center with the others.

Kodokura |

Kodokura will move to AA13 to try to shield the women from the fades with his body, if nothing else.
Can I also ready an action to strike any enemy that comes within reach?
Edit: I'm so dead.
Also, Kodo is unsure whether or not he should channel (as am I), so if anyone wishes to advise him, go ahead!

Rhoekk of the Tardaad Aiel |

Rizzen - Remember, Rhoekk gets to apply sneak attack damage any time he charges, or moves more than 10 ft in a round. This from a special ability and not just due to first round mechanics. Of course, if she has a special ability that lets her avoid sneak attacks, or is immune to them because she's a gholem, that's cool.
Rhoekk follows up his first attack with a flurry of spear attacks.

HP: 123/90
Fort Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Am I still bleeding, and if so 1 HP per round?
Spinning, Rhoekk catches sight of the woman in her new position, threatening Fiallain. He dashes forward to strike her. Charge to W17.
Sometimes being Aiel can be hard. I was thinking I should disarm her since I have Imp Disarm, but then it just takes her a move action to pick it up. If I dropped my spear as a free action I could take the sword in my hand, so she would have to disarm me to get it back. But I'm an Aiel, so I can't take the sword as I won't touch it.

Amorial Suth |

Amorial sees what he thinks is Mistress Tiedra and charges through the portal aiming for the Myddral. Amorial will stop short 10' from the Myddral to take advantage of his superior Reach thus if the Myddral attempts to attack Amorial he will retain an AoO.
This sword I believe gives me bonuses against Channelers of the One Power if it does something more against shadowspawn feel free to include that Rizzen!

Can we post next round actions? If so - do I see fade F2? Also, which squares are under the effect of the harden air?
P.S. weavesight check on the illusion: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (8) + 20 = 28 trying to feel that there is a weave there, to attempt to cut it

Ryvin Altessar |

Ryvin grunts with pain when she is suddenly stabbed.
May I assume I can see the Myrddraal that attacked me?
Her eyes widen with shock as she sees the corpse-pale Shadowspawn right in front of her -- and she channels instinctively, flows of all five powers snaking out at the hideous monstrosity.
Ryvin multichannels - 1d20 + 29 ⇒ (12) + 29 = 41 - and simultaneously catches the Myrddraal in a Master Ward centered on U15 and puts a Create Fire-weave at 2nd level inside to keep it company, igniting the Myrddraal's clothes. DC16 Will save for half of 1d8 ⇒ 6 damage / round -- and the fire will be eating up the air available inside the Master Ward. As far as I know, even Myrddraal need to breathe...

Kodokura |

Can I have my readied action to attack anyone that got too close? If so:
Longsword: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Lol
Fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
As the fade appears from nowhere, Kodokura lashes out, but the shadowspawn easily turns aside his blade, slashing him casually across the cheek with a flick of its wrist. Kodokura grunts in pain, falling back a step, blood running down his face to drip onto the Asha'man pins on his chest...
Next round, another attack.
If this keeps up i might have to chance some channeling...
Longsword: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Kodo continues slashing in vain, just hoping to keep the creature's attention on him and not on the women.

Vala " the Swan" |

I stand and look to the Aiel man and than the others, she looks at the Endangered Kodokura, she yells at Rheokk[b]" Save your kinsman, and I'll save mine, lets show these fiends what it truely means to dance with death!"[b] She than moves up to the side of the Fade and poises to strike.
Can't see the map right now, on phone, But can't attack until next turn, move action to get up and move action to get in neck to the Myrdrall,It will get an AoO on me, But will take it for the greater good

Fiallain Bo'airr |

Forcing herself to shake off the fade's gaze, Fia senses the others in danger as well. Yelling she calls "Fight together, don't let them pick you o... Her voice cuts off suddenly in surprise. No... it can't be. I am... shielded? By whom, how? Sensing someone suddenly next to her, she turns her head to see the woman smirking at her.
With a snarl, she moves swiftly, sliding easily across from her companion, placing the woman between them. Her arm shoots out as if to strike, the blow meant to distract more than to cause harm even as she assumes a defensive pose.
Moving 5 ft into flanking position. I assume between A'mar and Rhoekk she'll be able to do so. Fia will then fight defensively, use combat expertise, and aid other to grant a bonus to whomever attacks the woman next
1d20 + 8 + 2 - 2 - 2 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 8 + 2 - 2 - 2 - 4 = 13

RIZZENMAGNUS |

sorry, was in a rush yesterday, so i didnt get a chance to post a summary of action. ill post one for sure later today. right now it is round 2, with actions already declared for::: fia fighting defensively, kodokura missing the air, ryland crit on the fade, vala moved but still has a standard action to perform, ryvin puts the Myrddraal and her warder within the same master ward, amorial charges, rhoekk moving up and attacking the woman
litheene, you see the inverted weaves that create the wall of illusion that splits the room, and the domes silence that extend from behind the illusion that cover large sections of the room. The hardened air is annotated on the map.
The matron, after tearing her skirt off at the hem, ties off an end, and begins to stuff items into the makeshift bag. Having cleared the table on one end of the room, she sprints through the now obvious illusion, disappearing from sight.
The Aes sedai moves in behind the fade, attempting to distract it from harming someone in the group.

Litheene |

Litheene barely stands, blood generously staining her gown, trickling to a small pool beneath her, the many gashes in her body paled by the searing pain of the shadow blade cut in her stomach, seeping vileness into her. As if in a dream, she sees the matron ... Moira, was it? rushing half naked past her. With no more strength to wonder if she's real and which side she's on, Litheene drops the harden air and calls out to her.
Moira! Do you know what any of those items do? I ... Please, I need healing, I ...
Litheene forces her mind to focus on the circle of silence, realizing the need to alert her friends. She unleashes a blade of pure spirit at the ward, and yells, unsure if her weave even works There are four fades! The other half of the room is behind an illusion!
Level 4 cut weave using slot level 2. Cut check: 1d20 + 33 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 33 - 2 = 34

Ryvin Altessar |

I did WHAT?! AUGH! >_< Can't believe I overlooked him. I'll have to drop the ward and do something else next round... Please don't die in there. *feeling mighty stupid - again*

Alathea Sedai |

Alathea looks frantically about the basement room. Light help us all! We have walked into a trap, and we are being slaughtered!
Although she has been warned against doing so, Alathea sees no other option than to use the One Power. I may die or burn out or go mad, but if I do nothing, we will ALL be killed! With a deep breath, she opens herself up to the sweetness of saidar...
As her round 2 action, Alathea is stepping to AA16 and embracing saidar.

Kodokura |

ryland, you failed a fort save vs: shadowblade. you have contracted the disease shown within the WOTRPG book.
Just a reminder, if you are hit with a shadowblade, your wounds will not heal unless healed with the One Power
A ripple and wave shimmies the air between the column and far wall, as if something hit a pan full of water. A moment later the image displaces, reviealing the same image as before, the noticeable difference being Moira, the matron, standing, holding two ter'angreal and shoving into her bag. Her lips appear to be moving, but words cannot heard. A moment later, 2 fades appear, and attack.
Just as Moira finishes speaking, a Fade appears standing in front of Moira. A moment later, one appears in front of Litheene. In a voice that is a cross between a snake, a wasp, and liquid fire, the Myrddraal speaks.
I cannot wait to taste your flesh, channeler. Your ability makes your blood so much sweeter, your flesh, more tender.
Licking its lips, it lunges forward, driving its sword at your naked flesh.
The action is mirrored by the first fade, speaking to Moira and then driving the blade home.

RIZZENMAGNUS |

summary, round 2
After the woman slips away from her confrontation between herself and rhoekk and vala, she appears next to Fia. Not a moment later, Rhoekk leaps after the woman, charging her and thrusting his spears in an attempt to pin his opponent, and hopefully protect the wise one apprentice.
Fia back peddles, using her hand to hand combat skills to prevent any serious injury along with helping one of her teammates out with hitting this woman.
A moment later, the woman vanishes from between fia and rhoekk, only to appear next to amorial, who only moments before had just connected with a Fade. Smiling at the Ogier, the woman slashes at him with her fell blade, causing horrendeous damage to the fair ogier.
Taking a beating from the viscious Ryland who has gone feral, the fade steps into a shadow and disappears, only to reappear infront of Moira. It swings at the matron, only to have its swing go wild.
Vala, rushing in to help Ryland with his foe, is able to prevent a flanking maneuver against him by making herself a threat against another Fade. Blows were exchanged, but the fade also vanishes into shadow.
Litheene, bleeding from numerous sword strikes, and barely clinging to life, prior to the matrons attack, had begged the matron for healing aide. Unfortunetly, her please where felt by another Fade. Taunting his chosen foe, the Fade strikes, only to have his sword strike the column.
Ryvin, new to being bonded, traps her warder in with a fade, hoping that the close confines will ensure victory for her ward. Instead, the Fade slips out of the ward, only to appear behind her, clothes smoldering from the fire that was placed upon them. Seeking retribution, the Fade swings, only to swing wide and miss Ryvin.
A'mar, having been placed nose to nose with a borderlander's most hated enemy, only connects on one swing with the shadowspawn.
Kodokura, in an attempt to look menacing, swings his blade at the fade, but only succeeds in cutting the air. my instructor would be appalled by me right now he thinks, taking a moment to center himself and swing with a little better accuracy, still missing, but not looking a fool. Moments later he feels an odd pressure begin to build upon his brain, a pressure that presses upon his link with Saidan.
The matron, having survived her encounter against the fade, and wanting to continue making the room safe for others to channel, is suddenly struck down with an unknown force, one that has left her a shattered wreck, easy meat for the Fade.
Feeling a HUGE surge of power from the aes sedai, Fia and alathea are shocked to see that it has been the aes sedai that has been hampering with their efforts, cutting down their companions with the most devious of methods, severing.

Kodokura |

Yikes!
Should I have had a chance to do an AoO on the fade that moved away from Kodo?
Will: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
:( Well, that sucks. Just clutching at straws here, but you noticed that Severing someone of the opposite gender requires a +6 to caster level...?
Ah well, I guess if I survive I could take some levels in Noble:)

Rhoekk of the Tardaad Aiel |

So, did I hit the chick? And if so, was it a critical? The summary is a little vague there.
So we were right not to trust the Aes Sedai, for all the good it does us. It crossed my mind to knock her out and leave her outside... Should have done it.

Fiallain Bo'airr |

acrobatics to avoid AoO: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32
Fia winces as the Myrdral's blade slices her. She turns and spins out of the reach of his blade and heads toward Rhoekk.
Rhoekk!Fiallain whispers as she nears.. "The Aes Sedai has betrayed us. The Asha'man is disabled and she has me shielded. Kill her!! She keeps her voice pitched low, hoping that the woman was yet unaware that her duplicity had been found out and that they might be able to act before she could shield herself from physical attack.
She then continues past him and heads towards Vala and Ryland, whispering "The Aes Sedai, the one who thinks she's in charge, is a darkfriend and has attacked us. We must kill her. Now. On the other side of the column."

Vala " the Swan" |

Vala hearing the woman's words springs into action rushing to the other side of the column sword ready as she rushes about.
Ready for my next sword form Striking the Spark when i get the chance

Kodokura |

Kodokura reels as he feels the knife of the Power lance between him and the Source, clutching his head and screaming as he feels something in his head snap.
There's nothing in the rules that I can see that suggests severing causes any conditions, but in the books severed characters are typically pretty useless for a while, even unconscious. Not that I'm a sucker for punishment or anything, but is Kodo stunned or anything, or can he act normally?

Kodokura |

So, did I hit the chick? And if so, was it a critical? The summary is a little vague there.
So we were right not to trust the Aes Sedai, for all the good it does us. It crossed my mind to knock her out and leave her outside... Should have done it.
I, for one, wish you had :(

Ryvin Altessar |

Ryvin leans back from the Myrdraal, watching its attack go wide.
Behind her, the dome fades into nothing as she allows the Master Ward to dissipate.
"Shut up," she tells the monster in front of her, her voice oddly dismissive. "You're annoying."
The air blurs between Ryvin and the Fade, and she seems to just turn her back on the monster and ignore it...!
The next moment, Ryvin's eyes blaze at the Aes Sedai as she launches a weave into the room! Red sparks squiggle and squirm through the blaze of saidar surrounding her...
Ryvin stops supporting the Master Ward, releasing A'mar. (What happened to his player, anyway?)
She then channels Harden Air to raise a tube of the stuff around herself. The tube stops short of the roof, allowing her to breathe, but should stop the Myrddraal from cutting her again or getting close-in.
Ryvin maintains the Hardened Air, but also multiweaves (1d20 + 29 ⇒ (5) + 29 = 34) and takes a huge gamble, to clamp a Ward Against the One Power onto the Aes Sedai. Third-level-weave for a 5-ft. radius ward.

Litheene |

Weavesight: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (14) + 20 = 34. Also, I feel the adam collar that 've removed from Ryvin in my pocket. I try to see if I can quickly determine what's wrong with it, and if I can fix it. As I'm supposed to be expirienced making those, it shouldn't take long to understand if it is mendable. If I need a check, what should I roll on it? Weavesight?
Litheene drops to a knee from fear and fatugue as the fade appears, her life saved by the sudden motion, as the blade swings at the place her neck was, stricking the column.
Lucky to still be alive here. And of course, it had to be fade #1. If someone could cover me from those, maybe I can at least delay the Aes Sedai some. Otherwise will have to protect myself again against the fade

Alathea Sedai |

Alathea watches, helplessly, as the Aes Sedai's--no, Black Ajah's!--Weave descends towards Kodokura. Moira's scream...she must have Stilled her, too! Kodokura does not scream, though...perhaps he's avoided the wretched woman's attack. Light send that it is so! But she is so strong!
Knowing that she has little chance of Shielding her with the Black Sister holding so much saidar, Instead, Alathea begins to Weave about the woman in a pattern ironically similar to Healing, but to opposite effect. Let what your fellow Black Ajah taught me bring you down!
Alathea is not at all surprised to see that the woman is Black Ajah...
Alathea is weaving a level 4 Rend at the woman, with a fortitude save of 18 needed for half damage. This does a base of 4d8 + 9 ⇒ (5, 7, 1, 8) + 9 = 30 damage.
