Round 5

Splatter casts a spell on himself, then moves into the hall. Rorsk wastes no time, hustling down the hall, his big friend in his wake. They round the corner into darkness. Isaac draws a wand and follows them into the hallway.

Round 6

Isaac moves around the corner and uses his wand. He can see a long hallway. Splatter casts false life and stumbles blindly down the cooridor. Rorsk and Kitty do the same.

Unless I'm mistaken about you guys having darkvision also.


Take 10 Perception 29 (Darkvision 60; Blindsight 40)

At whatever point it becomes necessary, Rorsk will pause to draw his wand of Darkvision and cast it on himself (splitting the duration between himself and Kitty). Then he’ll proceed as I outlined above.

Seeing that Rorsk and Kitty have paused and not wanting to get out ahead of them, Isaac comes to a stop, draws another wand, and activates it.

I know you've been pressed for time lately, Jelani, so should we be waiting for a map update given these most recent actions? Or should i outline what Rorks/Kitty are planning to do in general?


This way is fine. I need to update more often. Doing 3-4 rounds at a time will make things easier. Obviously some of the actions might not go off if something happens. Or you can make if/then statements.

Splatter will cast Light on his dagger. and Keep following down the hallway.

Round 8

Drink potion of see invisibility and keep following along.

If we reach another door before those actions, I will cast detect magic on the door, then attempt to open it if it is safe.

Rorsk, eyes now piercing the darkness, continues his hustled advance, Kitty right behind him. He pauses at the intersection, looking for the best way to proceed.

Round 8: Double move should take him to that intersection at BF/20(ish).
Round 9: At that point, I’d love to get a quick update on the map. If there’s really no difference between the two directions, and Rorsk can basically see nothing of note to the end of his Darkvision range, he’ll take the northern hallway. He’ll advance as if taking a double move. If along the way, something presents itself (trap, door, branching hallway or whatever), and he’s left with a second action, he’ll take care of that, instead.

Isaac follows down the corridor. When the group gets to a branch, he points in the direction that Rorsk did not take, mutters a few words, and the far-away look in his eyes returns.

Round 8: Double move. Round 9: Move 30' following Rorsk, but casting detect magic along the path Rorsk didn't take in order to cover our flank.


Sorry for the delay. Moved house this week, putting a kink in things. Hope to have an update for you later today.

Round 9

Rorsk heads north into the hallway, and comes to a door. Splatter moves up to the door. Issac moves to catch up to them.

I drank a See invisibility not Invisibility. So I did not disappear.

Splatter will have the unseen servant try to open the door. If it does not open then Splatter will attempt to unpick the lock.

perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

disable device: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20

Isaac waits for the door to open. When that happens, his eyes once again change.

As Splatter’s … unseen thingy works on the door, Rorsk whispers another few words of power. Once the door is open, (and assuming there aren’t any immediate threats noticeable via Darkvisions, Kitty’s Scent, or Echolocation) he hustles once more through the room, looking to cover more ground.

Round 10: Cast Echolocation, targeting self and Kitty (duration 35 minutes each).
Round 11: continue hustling forward into the room and beyond, searching for the other team, the wandering monster, or the threat … only stopping if we hit a threat or another door.

Splatter's spell opens the door.

Isaac detects magic into the next chamber and sees nothing.

Rorsk casts a spell on himself and Kitty.

Round 11

Rorsk moves into the room, followed by Kitty. He spots another door, the others move after him to the door.

Round 12

Splatter's unseen servant opens the door. Then Rorsk and Kitty go through. Isaac moves to the door and detects magic, but sees nothing.

Rorsk quickly walks to the center of his current room to check the one remaining un-seen corner. (If he sees nothing of note), he pushes on through the northern door … continuing at his quick pace.

Round 13: Both continue on the same fashion. If multiple doors present themselves, he’ll move to the left-most one as quickly as possible.
Round 14 and beyond: He’ll actually delay on this one, and head through the door once it’s opened by the others, hopefully being able to get more exploration done in Round 14.
