Hello and howdy!
I work crazy hours and don't always have time to fully prep for a gaming session. One of the things that Dungeons & Dragons has in abundance is a ton of source material for finding quick, drop-in encounters. City, sewers, forests, the road, etc...
I'm probably looking in the wrong place, but has anyone put out something like this for PF2? You know, I have some friends coming over, I just need a few encounters to drop in the city and I can link them together type of thing... I've seen the one shot adventures, the free rpg day adventures and I've been wading through the pathfinder society stuff... but I'm just not seeing the "here's a list of 6 random city encounters".
Any feedback, thoughts or direction, is deeply appreciated!
Thanks all!

I've heard there are a few encounter builders out there that might work. Have you tried this one

I'm not sure there's as much demand since throwing together a quick encounter is so much easier than in 5e (since the developers actually follow the math they set out). The GM Core* gives a half dozen simple encounter templates for low, moderate, and severe encounters.
The one thing that is a little lacking is an easy way to search for monsters by an environment. The only table I found only covered bestiary 1.
*Page 75. If you're using AoN, search encounter design.

Thanks! I've used other encounter builders before, that's the first time seeing that one! Appreciate you sharing!

Agreed, those builders are easy for sure... it's just a time thing on my part! I'll take a look at that table, MUCH appreciated, thank you!

Check out Ruzza’s encounter a day thread. Its pretty neat.
Thanks for the shoutout! These have been fun putting together and are still coming out every day!
Edit: I want to add that I try to make sure that each encounter is more than just "creatures in a room," and give GMs some interesting ways to approach how the encounters play.
