One of my players is a fey creature with the long step ability. We are trying to sort out whether it allows him to bring along willing creatures up to the quantity his hd would allow since it is a teleport ability, or, if this is not an intended component of the ability.
I searched the forums and found that some allow long step to be used to bring along willing creatures, but I didn´t find anything definitive.
Can you offer any advice on this?
Thanks!

Most creatures that can teleport at will are not able to bring other creatures with them. In fact, most of them are limited to 50 lbs. of objects. This is going to be a GM’s call, but if I were running the game I would not allow them to bring other creatures and would limit them to 50 lbs. of objects.

Advice (a general caution)
before things go crazy, tell them to use PFS rules (unless you want it very creative). That will constrain a LOT of THINGS and all the work is already done and searchable online via Archive of Nethys, official PF1 PRD. PFS Guide(Char generation etc), Additional Resources(What is legal), and Campaign Clarifications are downloadable.
Fey Template "A fey creature can teleport up to 10 feet per Hit Die as a move action. It may use this ability once every 1d4 rounds." A(as in singular) fey creature and no mention of taking others, so NO.
Otherwise you are referencing 3rd party publ material - RGG's long step(Su) ninja trick says "the ninja" twice. So just the ninja. see the Third Party forum.

... Fey template on d20pfsrd ...
was in a hurry
Fey Template on AoN this one says teleport (no italics) so technical writing wise it is not referencing the spell (a bit of a nitpick). Generally HD=CstrLvl (see Spell-like Abilities in the section right after). Notice these abilities are in italics. This means the above "teleport" is not a simple omission and is a descriptive english reference so GMs know the school for interactions rather than a technical spell reference.Given a permissive GM who allows teleport:C5 You can bring along objects as long as their weight doesn't exceed your maximum load. You may also bring one additional willing Medium or smaller creature (carrying gear or objects up to its maximum load) or its equivalent per three caster levels.
so 3HD=1 med sz crtr, 6HD=2, 9HD=3, ...
I agree with an earlier poster that for monsters a bit of clarity was added for the non-SLAs.
Dwoemercat no mention of taking others.
Archon specifically mentions taking others.
etc
barring SLAs and referencing a spell, the description needs to mention taking others.
so two ways to NO.
only under a permissive GM who ignores a bit of RAW can you get a YES.
