On page 91 of Player Core 1, it states that the Class Key Attribute bonus is +2, but everywhere else in the book is states that Attribute bonuses are +1.
It does also say on page 19, that the Attribute Bonuses are USUALLY +1, which gives room for exceptions, but the only place it says +2 is on page 91, nowhere else is it referred to as a +2 Bonus.
It does not appear to have been Errataed, but it seems like a leftover from an earlier edition.
Am I wrong?

If this is indeed an error, then the +1 does not jive with the beginner box remaster, whereas the +2 WOULD jive with it. In the remastered beginner box, during character creation, you essentially get 6 points to boost your attributes... the Heroe's Handbook has every class boosting their key attribute by 3 and then getting a +1 to three other abilities of their choice. This seems much more in keeping with the Player Core pg 91 giving you a +2 to your key attribute and then all classes getting an additional 4 free boosts (again, total of 6). So, if we say Player Core pg 91 is a mistake, how then are we to account for all 4 classes in the beginner box remaster getting a total of 6 points of increase?

You're supposed to get 4 free boosts (at the end) 1 boost from your class KAS, 2 from your background, and a variable number (1-3) from your ancestry.
The +2 is language leftover from the original CRB where stats started from 10 to 18 and each increase was a +2 rather than the remaster where your stats start from 0 to +4 with each increase being a +1. They are isomorphic, but presented differently. You can tell that this is an error (and the Beginner's Box might reproduce this error, I do not have a copy so I can' t check) because the way this works was not supposed to have changed in the remaster.

I don't disagree, as even Player Core pg 24 Step 6 further illustrates your point... i just hate that the error replicates in a boxed set intended for beginners in a formative state of learning and is even currently the rule which a confused learner will see if they search the topic "key attribute" over on Archives of Nethys. This material has been out for a full year now, and in a game where every + and - impacts your critical threshold, it seems it should matter more to Paizo than to have it STILL standing in the game store copy, the PDF, the beginner box math, and the trusted Nethys website while it is the +1 that is baked in to Pathbuilder and Demiplane.
