PC2 comes close behind it, though, with the updates to Alchemist and Swashbuckler.
My group is toying with the idea of a West Marches style campaign, but using both SF2 and PF2, where it's basically the same characters, but on different sides of The Gap. There's SO much potential there!

Has anyone been blessed with a shipping email?
Sadly, no. I got my shipping notification early Monday. But, no dice on the confirmation yet. I shouldn't be surprised, though. I am almost always one of the last every month, sometimes not even getting mine until after the street date, which happened last month and a few other times before that over the last couple of years. :(

Same here. Maybe those early shipments were to drum up buzz. Perhaps it shouldn't be too surprising. Regular shipments rarely start on the first day. Today should see some lucky people. Tomorrow for certain.

So far the only I know of which have gotten the books are Youtubers who are previewing PC2. I still hold out hope that I'll be lucky this time, since I got a whole week of vacation time after my birthday on Sunday and will be able to read the book as much as I want with all that time. ^^

I am confused. I got my email for the order of the Starfinder Playtest Adventure but I have not gotten the email about the Playtest Rulebook yet. Are they sending them out separately?
They are releasing playtest rulebook PDF for everyone simultaneously. There was an announcement up thread as well as an email that said:
We hope you're just as excited about the new playtest as we are! As we've done in the past for previous playtests, the PDF of the Starfinder Second Edition Playtest Rulebook will be free for everyone to download. This means that as a subscriber, it won't automatically be granted with your purchased order.
Starting on August 1st, you can follow this link to get your PDF for free:
https://www.starfinderplaytest.com
Thank you so much for following us on this new journey, we can't wait for what's in store.

I was talking about the hardcover edition, not the PDF.

Oh, in that case, no, and you should contact customer service. My order has both the Starfinder playtest rulebook and the playtest adventure (though the order has not yet shipped).

Don't tell me nobody here ever read Robert Heinlein's Stranger In A Strange Land!
Waiting is... Waiting for fullness is.
The Martian Old Ones waited, and when they fully understood the people of the fifth planet, and how evil they were, they blew the planet up. They have not yet reached fullness about the third planet.

I'm surprised you haven't seen it. I've been beating that drum pretty hard for a while now when it comes up. I'm not quite sure how to fully implement it but I'm excited to get the rules so I can try. Hopefully some kind of crossover AP comes out of the compatible systems!

My watch has ended. (Now I just need the physical books to arrive so I can start going over the SF playtest. In the meantime, I can’t wait to dive into PC2 in between getting ready to run a game tomorrow)

What time does the Warehouse close or that shipping stops today?
Just curious, my credit card has been authorized and pending since yesterday and I'm hoping it will show before the weekend.
Or if I'm in for the Long Watch.
I have always just assumed 5pm like most businesses but don’t think we know for sure

I'm in the same boat. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the warehouse is closed by now. So no books this weekend for us. :(

I wouldn’t be surprised if they delayed subs that include the Starfinder Playtest physical books to be the last batch to get sent out since the PDF access for that is August 1st for everyone, regardless of subscription status. Doing so would delay spoiler leaks getting out from those who get the physical copies early. I wouldn’t blame them, though. It will help to keep the hype and marketing spotlight on Pathfinder Core 2 and Prey for Death as much as possible before the Playtest hits.

My physical books usually arrive around a week after I get the notice, so that makes sense.

If that was a concern, they wouldn't have sent out copies to various influencer types. There's been spoilers for over a week now.

Yeah, spoilers for PC2 and Prey for Death. There's been 0 spoilers on the Starfinder Playtest, which is what Ash is saying is what Paizo wants. More influencer/subscriber coverage of PC2/Prey for Death right now, with more focus on Starfinder 2E at GenCon with the .PDF's release.

Back to fervent refreshing of the order page again, I'll know to be excited once the store credit to apply figure changes to match the total; hope the Warehouse team have had their weetbix this morning :-D
