Since Prey for Death is not a part of the adventure line when we get notification that the card will be charged, all we do is email customer service and tell them that we want to add the module correct? How much does this throw the order back down the line?

Shipping will only begin on Monday, anyway, which is when PDF's will be released at the soonest.
Fingers crossed my stuff is sent out next week, so I can deep read the Player Core 2 in my vacation week after that. Really looking forward to the reworked classes.

Hello everyone! This is post is an announcement regarding some subscription changes!
Starfinder Adventure Path subscription is now Starfinder Adventures!
With the advent of Starfinder Second Edition, we are making some changes to your Starfinder Adventure Path and/or Starfinder Adventure Ongoing subscription.
With the release of the Scoured Stars Adventure Path in January of this year, followed by the release of Mechageddon Adventure Path in May, we changed the format of our Starfinder Adventure Paths from periodic single volume releases to hardcover compilations of the entire Adventure Path in one volume. This has proven to be a popular and successful change, but this change does blur the lines between our Starfinder Adventure Path and Starfinder Adventure subscriptions.
In order to make it as easy as possible to get our award-winning adventure content for Starfinder, starting with the July release of the Starfinder Second Edition Playtest Adventure: A Cosmic Birthday and going forward, the Starfinder Adventure Path subscription and Starfinder Adventure subscription have been combined into one ongoing subscription. This means you will be getting all the great content from these lines in one easy place.
After the release of Starfinder Second Edition Playtest Adventure: A Cosmic Birthday in July and Starfinder Second Edition Playtest Adventure: Empires Devoured in October, you will not see any Starfinder releases until the full Starfinder Second Edition launches at Gen Con 2025. After that, you can expect to see 2 to 4 releases each year going forward in the Starfinder Adventures Ongoing subscription.

To provide customers time to make changes to their subscriptions due this, will be moving the spawn dates for the July subscription products to Friday, July 12th instead. We do apologize for this delay and any frustration or confusion this may cause. As a reminder, we will not be offering Gen Con pick up of subscription shipments. As always, if you would like to make any further changes to your subscriptions, please drop us a line at customer.service@paizo.com.

Authorization spawn date was changed in the original post to be the 12th, but the shipment date is unchanged. So right now, shipping is still slated to be the 15th (or this coming Monday)!

So when you say 2 to 4 releases per year, are APs just not happening anymore or are they just going to all be released in 1 big book instead of 6 monthly books?
They have been single books for over a year now.

Hey everyone!
One (hopefully) final update here - We are delaying the auth until MONDAY, JULY 15th. This will allow more people to have time to digest the recent news about subscriptions being combined and allow them to act on that news. Sorry for the additional delay, but it was felt internally that customers needed the weekend to react to these changes before we began charging credit cards.
This delay may mean a slight delay in shipping, up to two business days.
Thanks for your patience! We will make sure the warehouse is ready to ship out these items as quickly as possible once the auth is complete.

Well, that is not really something that was a thing until the whole ORC thing and then the immediate wind-down of Starfinder 1. Just happened to be the last couple APs that were compilations. Are they doing this with the Pathfinder AP line or is Starfinder just getting the shaft here?

The Pathfinder AP line has very different market pressures than the Starfinder AP, so until they announce otherwise, expect this to just be Starfinder APs released as hardcover collections.
This recent change affects only the Starfinder line. Adventure Paths will be released for Starfinder as compilations.
Pathfinder Adventure Paths remain unaffected at this time.

No, it didn't that was announced at PaizoCon or GenCon 2023 as how they would be from now on.

To be totally honest, I vastly prefer the hardcover releases for Starfinder.

4th of july holiday and this schedule change falling on the most important subscription month this year is really unfortunate for my blood pressure and anxiety. I need that core 2 book so bad! lol
I'd say October will be nearly as important, but, yes, I also am chomping at the bit for PC2.

It's normal, they remove current subscription from "Upcoming" before authorization goes off. I also don't have it in my subs anymore, and it often happens some time before authorization.
