Another post related to the sketch cover subscription caught my eye and it made me realize that I didn't receive the Pathfinder Beginner Box: Secrets of the Unlit Star either as a Pathfinder Special Edition Rulebook subscriber.

I went to double check and it's still listed on the subscription page as being a part of that subscription:

If it is not supposed to be included in the Special Edition subscription, it really feels like a frustrating extra step needed for subscribers to have to monitor any news for these one-off products and then sign up for the regular subscription for one month and then cancel whenever they come up.

I noticed I didn't have the right version of one of the subscriptions from that 1/15 email letting me know what was coming up. I've added the right subscription, but now it shows up a "Future Order" for January 20th with the $0.00 value and no product information in it.

My subscription also seems to be missing the maps that are supposed to be released this month. I sent a ticket in to support yesterday for the map issue as soon as I noticed. Still waiting to hear back on it. (That's not a dig at support, I know it's a busy time. Just wanted to acknowledge in the message that I sent a ticket is all.)

My three biggest frustrations so far with the new web store have been mentioned by others as well.

1) No easy way to see what subscriptions I have active.
I've tried to use the "Subscription Manager" but not having a section at the top, bottom, anywhere that's just a list of Active Subscriptions has been frustrating. The Upcoming Orders view is nice, but not every subscription has something every month and may not even have something in the time window for the Upcoming Orders view. Needing to go through the orders and take note of what Subscriptions shows up there to determine what I'm subscribed to is both frustrating and not something I'm confident will show everything.

Suggestion: Just add a section somewhere on that page that shows a list of active subscriptions just like you have a list of Inactive Subscriptions at the bottom. (Side note: The Upcoming Orders list showing the Subscription but not what product is also a bit frustrating as I have to go match it up to the release calendars just to see what's in it.)

2) Products not indicating if you have previously ordered them or at least if you currently have them in your library. Also another place where you could indicate if a subscription is already active.

Suggestion: Similar to the old store, some indication a product is at least in your digital library, if not just shown as something you've ordered in the past would be a great help.

3) Products not indicating they are included with a subscription. Once again, having to cross reference multiple pages on the site to determine if I will be getting something as part of a subscription or if I need to pre-order/purchase something I'm interested in. It's both time consuming and frustrating.

Suggestion: An indicator like the old store had marking that the product being viewed is part of a subscription and which one.

All that said, these all came out of me trying to figure out what Subscriptions I had active to make sure nothing was missed in the move to the new store and for looking at possibly changing some subscriptions from one version to another.

I even reached out to Customer Service to help me figure out what I am actively subscribed to, but it seems like their only solution was to also just go to my Subscriptions Manager Upcoming Orders page and make a list of what they saw there.

Any updates on the seemingly excessively large file size on the PDF? I've been holding off on downloading hoping it will be reigned in a bit. Seems to be happening more and more often where we end up with 300+MB PDFs.

Chiming in with my disappointment of not having digital options direct from Paizo. I don't care for or need one exclusively available from a VTT vendor if that's the announcements they are expecting at PaizoCon.

Personally, I input my data into my VTT myself and without PDF/JPG options that means I have to break out the scanner...

I did notice that the Sword Scion background says;

But those cost 20 gold and starting characters get 15 gold... is this supposed to provide a free Aldori dueling sword, it seems a bit confusing?

I believe the Aldori Dueling Sword was updated in errata to only cost 2gp in the World Guide. Looks like this player's guide maybe pulled the old incorrect price.

That will make me very sad. I was hoping for an Extinction Curse game eventually.

With the change to the Core Set and AP system they did in 2019 I was really looking forward to more content for PACG. My friend and I absolutely love the game and can't get enough.

If this truly means there will be no more published AP sets I'll be very sad.

I understand there are homebrews and Society scenarios and such to play... but we were really looking forward to what would be next after CotCT.

From what I see here it looks like shipping was supposed to finish up Friday, with a couple bleeding over to Tuesday.

My subscription order, 34947916, still looks like it's in pending status. I blame Jason Bulmahn and those cards that are on this order...

Just wanted to check on it since it's part of the subscription orders.

I'm pretty bummed about the regional language change as well... My main PFS character is an emissary from Tian Xia who is dedicated to language and archaeology. High int, good amount of starting languages... that are no longer an option for him.

I'm going to have to completely redo his language selection at this point and probably change the concept of the character in general. Really disappointing.

I ordered mine May 29th. It's been in my side cart since. I'm pretty sure it was not on backorder for some time after that too. I've had monthly subscriptions since then and it's still sitting in my side cart.

Just pointing out... this is still an issue. And sounds like it's going to get worse with the AP Sanctioning TomParker mentioned...

I was having this issue on Chrome for about a week. Worked in IE with no problem (never tested Edge). Clearing the cache in Chrome settings resolved the issue for me as well.

Definitely recommend giving that a shot in the Chrome settings page:
chrome://settings/clearBrowserData

Any idea on a release date on the coins? I had expected with the APG shipments this month, but I'm not seeing a date on the product page or it part of the subscription order this month.

It looks like the standard APG is listed as being part of the standard Rulebook Subscription. Will this one be added to the Special Edition Rulebook Subscription?

Sorry for the confusion with this! USPS has certain weight and volume restrictions on shipping things that aren't considered 'bound, printed matter', like books. Since the card game decks are not bound printed matter, we can't ship more than one pound in one of the small boxes. The decks are each slightly over 1/2 a pound, so putting two in the same box pushes the shipment over the 1 lb limit.

However, shipping your subscription in two boxes was still a little over a dollar cheaper than the next available method, which was Priority Mail. Right now it looks like your default shipment method is set for cheapest, so it should be calculating everything and giving you the cheapest option. However, if you'd prefer to switch your shipping options, you should be able to do so on your Paizo.com account.

Second month in a row this appears to be happening.

I subscribe to the Pathfinder Card Game and the Class Deck subscriptions. Last month they both shipped in separate boxes even though both would easily fit in one.

It looks like this month they are doing the same.

Is there a reason for this? It looks like this is doubling shipping costs on the order.

I have the Broken Token insert. It works perfect for RotR. For S&S, with the ships, the spacing is a bit off.

The designer actually indicated that he has submitted a redesign for it, moving the dice area over to the narrow lane to allow for more space in the wide lanes. It doesn't look like that one is for sale yet though. If it was, it would work better for S&S.

Broken Token also used to have some acrylic location stands that are pretty nice, but they don't seem to be for sale anymore.

And they even hinted once that they were working on creating turntables.

I actually asked them about the Acrylic Location Stands. They said they were having issues with them being too fragile and were working on a redesign. They gave no indication of the timeframe.

Also, I got the this card organizer along with the wooden box from Hobby Lobby based on the suggestion from another thread here and found it great. Plenty of room for all the adventure decks, space for character decks, and some extra dice. Plus the box has a handle and the size of the box means the cards won't come out of their spots if it's held on its side, making it a bit easier to carry at times.

Is anyone else starting their Card sub with the character add-on deck seeing the base set added to their Sep order? I hoping it the normal sub whackery, but want to see if others see this too, or just me.

I'm seeing the same thing. Started the subscription with the base set and character add-on and now everything has been moved to my side-cart, including the base set. On top of that, my associated order, Order 3250238, now only has the signing up for subscription in it, no products, and has been marked as "Complete".
