In-person PaizoCon

Would love to see a return in an in-person PaizoCon next year.

They're likely not going back to a self-hosted con, especially as the staff is no longer centralized in Seattle area. They are however now doing in-person events at gameshops and smaller conventionns.

A year later, I've really been missing those days, too! I don't have the gumption for the big conventions, especially the ones halfway across the country from me. But I'm glad Paizo staffers don't all have to pay Seattle Rent anymore, so. It's just a casualty of practicality.

There are little PaizoCons that are in-person. Last year, there were several locations that had 'PaizoCon@[insert gamestore here]'.

I agree that was the best part of large PaizoCon. I loved meeting everyone from Paizo in the old days. For meeting staff, I have to do Origins and GenCon now -- and the staff there are really busy!

We're lucky in Minnesota that we have some Paizo staff living here locally now... but it was super special when all of Paizo was at PaizoCon. Then again, KC and Cori are right that it's great that most Paizo staff don't have to pay Seattle rent anymore.
