I can't find anything on this searching the forum. But two of the remastered feats are completely contradictory. It's my understanding since the new version has the same name as the old one it errata's the old one.
The remastered "Animal Companion" feat I'm seeing on Nethys appears to completely omit the old text sharing Hunters Edge.
However, the text in Masterful companion clearly states that it enhances the Hunters edge benefit and is worded such that rangers should still retain the class feature.
Remaster on Nethys:
"You gain the service of a young animal companion (page 206) that travels with you on your adventures and obeys any simple commands you give it to the best of its abilities."
Legacy on Nethys includes this extra paragraph.
"Ranger: When you Hunt Prey, your animal companion gains the action's benefits and your hunter's edge benefit if you have one."
Legacy and Remastered Masterful Companion both read.
"Your animal companion shares your incredible hunting skills, allowing it to take down your shared prey with ease. When you Hunt Prey, your animal companion gains the masterful hunter benefit associated with your hunter’s edge, rather than just your original hunter’s edge benefit."
Has there been any comments from the devs about which is the correct form?
Was this a typo, or just a bug with Nethys? I'm not sure which is intentional.

The Ranger Animal Companion feat in Player Core 1 still states that they benefit from the Edge. AoN not showing that is only an AoN issue. There is no conflict in the actual book to require a clarification.
