Tombs of Golarian: "A Note on Buried Potential"

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I was wondering if someone could elaborate on Ilingra’s Rest listed in the "A Note on Buried Potential" introduction of Tombs of Golarian. Is this something that is supposed to allow GMs to homebrew a dungeon or is there somewhere these dungeons are made available for exploration?

I suppose my question also extends to the other locations listed in the introduction, such as Arodnalu and Jal Hariki. But I'm more wondering about Ilingra's Rest since I'll be running my players through the Hold of Belkzen soon.

There is no more in-depth information. It's just intended as some additional flavor (and possible story hooks for a GM).

and I quote:
In the interest of your professional and personal enrichment, I have included several reports of promising projects and finds that I monitor with some interest yet am unable to explore in full, thanks to my ongoing duties in Magnimar. The Consortium is in need of proficient explorers capable of balancing true fieldwork with more subtle arts; once you have harvested the profit of these sites, I may request your transfer to Varisia to aid me against the Heidmarchs’ machinations.
----- end of spoiler -----

Tombs of Golarion on PFWiki no references.

just additional Titles and names of possible crypts.

You realize Hold of Belkzen is Koldukar, an ancient dwarven fortress. Likely a tomb below along with the found hoard of weapons... could be derro and svirfneblin...

Thanks for clearing this up for me! The information at least helps me so I can add additional flavor as needed to my campaign.

No it isn't.

Urgir is Koldukar. The Hold is a much, much bigger place.

Details of what's under Urgir have been covered in depth (pardon the pun) in the adventures of Eando Kline as covered in his collected Journals: The Compass Stone. These are serialised in RoTR, CoCT and 2nd Darkness.

Chapters 9 (Thin Air) to 16 (City of Serpents) relate to Belkzen and the world below it.

yep, I was too general in providing the link to more info.

The OP can follow your Compass Stone hint to the story collection and AP links
