Scarab sages / Osirion Scenarios

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Dark Archive

Heyya!

I know its closed at this point, but I'm looking for all of those scenarios that followed the iconic mission line.
Essentially there was a competition where, if you succeeded at certain scenarios, your character could be put in to be chosen as a new iconic character for pfs 1e.

I'm hoping someone can lead me in the right direction to find them, or share a list of these scenarios that were involved with the scarab sages/osirion missions.

I hope I'm describing this appropriately, so someone knows what I'm talking about.

Scarab Sages

You may already have answered your own question, but I was looking for similar and your thread came up first.

If it's the storyline I'm thinking, you can start with the Destiny of the Sands trilogy (5-12: A Bitter Bargain, 5-15: Race to Seeker's Folly, 5-16: Sanctum of the Sages), then continue with 6-04: Beacon Below, 7-11: Ancients' Anguish, and 9-04: Unseen Inclusion, then finish with 9-07 Salvation of the Sages.

There might be others that also contribute, but that should be enough to start.

PFS Forum Scarab Sage Swansong thread c12/2017 references the PFS blog post & the official scenario list.

PFS Forum Chronicling Salvation of the Sages thread by JCompton c10/2107 likely ignored at this point. The qualifiers for the PFS *Exemplar of the Order* were time limited due to faction cards changing around 03/2018 thus it's not possible for newish OrgPlay folks but you can play it for fun and to the McGuffin centric conclusion. There's no time limit on the boon itself so with an old PFS PC and the correct cards you should be able to do it. Surprised the thread isn't locked. NO iconic NPC status.

Salvation of the Sages takes liberties with Game Balance and Railroading. It's actually not that difficult if you play it tricky or cautiously.
