Arcane Evolution and adding spells

My sorcerer has the Arcane Evolution feat, so that gives her a spellbook. Since normally as a sorcerer I would have to learn a spell at a higher level to heighten it (Unless it is a Signature Spell). Is it possible to scribe those spells at the higher level into the book, and do I need to pay the cost? Is it reduced because I know the lower level version?

Also, can I use something like the Endless Grimoire and gain the extra spell slot, or would that not work?

Regarding Endless Grimoire:
It would not work, because you are not a prepared spellcaster, and do not prepare spells: You're a spontaneous spellcaster, and the arcane evolution allows you to select one spell from the spellbook or grimoire and add it to your repertoire for the the day (or upgrade it to a signature spell if was already in your repertoire), so you still aren't preparing spellslots as required by the grimoire.

I'm unsure what you mean by the second question however?
Let's say you have magic missile as a 1st level spell in your repertoire but it isn't your signature spell. Because it is in your repertoire, it is added automatically and for free into your spell book. During your daily preparations, you can choose Magic Missile (1st level) as your spell of the day if you want to, and since it is already in your repertoire, you can now cast it as a signature spell on whatever level you want: Thus, there is no need nor benefit to scribe it into your book as a 3rd level spell.

For the spells that aren't already in your repertoire, you can add them to the book at the regular cost of learning a spell.

Since normally you don't need to scribe spells into spellbooks at specific levels, I assume that if you had added 1st level mage armor into your spellbook (but not into your repertoire), you would get to choose the level at which you add it to your repertoire for the day when you make your choice. Meaning that once you learn 3rd level spells, you could still choose mage armor and add it to your repertoire but at 3rd level instead of 1st level. The feat isn't clear on whether this is the intent though.

That is my quandary. If I have Mage armor, can I “memorize” it at 3rd or 5th level? Or, do I have to buy a version at each level? As for the Endless Grimoire, not a big loss there, just curious.
