Life oracle dipping cleric to get domain?

I'm planning my new PFS character to play with my Lv 1 friend and I want a Life Oracle who is a worshiper of Calistria.
I guess it will be a channel-based build and I want to get Channeling Variance,but I need a Domain to select it.My first choice is Luck Domain,which is also suitable for the faith of Calistria.
On the other hand,oracle is already a class that has a slower casting ability, so I'm afraid it would be fatal to get 3rd level spells at 7HD.
I hope to know whether this trade is worthy.

So, why do you want the luck channel variance?

I'd say in general this dip wouldn't be "worth it", but if it fits some flavor or combo you are going for, then go for it.

It depends on how hard your group optimizes and how much this feat is worth to you. If that flavor is worth the delayed casting, go for it.

Honestly, I'd just ask the GM nicely if they'd let you have it anyway. It's hardly game-breaking without that one prereq.

It's not worth it. The bonus is quite small, it's only to one roll for each target, and they have to choose to use it before rolling. Not worth a level dip AND a feat to use 3 times per day.

If you really like the variant channel, though, you can use it without dipping at all.

The downside is that you will always be healing half. You wouldn't qualify for channeling variance without the dip.

This is for a PFS character, so that's unfortunately not an option.
