Here's the Discussion page.
* I use group initiative. What I do is average my creatures initiative modifier then add it to a d20 roll. Then average the PC's initiative modifier and add it to a d20 roll. The characters can go in any other when it is there turn to go. The side that has the highest roll goes first, then flip-flops from there. This speeds things up on the boards since you don't have to wait for the dwarf fighter to go so that you can act.
* I will roll saving throws, AoO's and some skills depending on the situation. If there is an error with the roll, feel free to let me know.
* No meta-gaming, faerie whispering or telling people what they should do during a battle or conversations. Only short phrases should be used on your turn during combat.
* I ask that you do not read spoiler tags that are not in your name.
When we are ready to "move on" from an encounter/environment I will need at least 3 people to agree on a course of action before moving on with said course of action.
I'm going to keep a link to the battle map at the top of the page.
That's it for now. Let's rock!
Nebten

So...we have:
Aasimar Paladin
Tengu Druid
Tengu Rogue
Human Alchemist
I can bring a selection of PC's all Level Twos
Half-Elf Urban Ranger - my preference because he's Shadow Lodge and it fits the flavor of the scenarios, though I worry about time to get in Rivalry.
Tiefling Inquisitor
Human Sorcerer (Seeker)
Human Bard (Archaeologist)

Hi Guys
I have been invited to be the sixth member of the party.
Rackle, great to see you again!
Mikhaere, Am I right in thinking you are an Australian Raven?
If so .... Who says "Stone the flamin' crows!" ?
Is it
A. Toadie from neighbours
B. Alf from Home & Away
C. No normal person ever says Stone the Flamin Crows!
Bonus Question .... How many slabs can you fit in the boot of a Torana?
If you're travelling from Newcastle to Sydney, what brand are the slabs?

![]() |

Tiddalik was too obvious, I take it. :)
Answer is D: both B and C.
And I don't know the answer to your bonus question, although being a Novocastrian I feel that I should. :P

![]() |

Lol
Are you seriously from Newcastle? Maybe Aroden isn't dead and guided my hand ...
If that's the case, I'll try a bold prophesy ...
I suspect we may become friends. :)

![]() |

Yep. Well, more or less. I live outside of the city now, but I'm there most days of the week for university. You from the area too?

![]() |

No, I'm a couple of borders further west. Though I'm originally from Qld.

![]() |

Rackle gapes in amazement. "Three thousand?! We could buy our own ship for that! We don't have to listen to this..." he sputters. Couldn't resist. ;)
Mella looks over at Rackle and says, "And who'd fly it birdman? You?"

![]() |

Eadie looks at Maaarv, "I'd rather kiss a Swamp Tengu."

![]() |

Mikhaere would be offended if he was not too busy trying to figure out how you kiss with a beak. "A peck on the cheek" taken literally, perhaps...?

![]() |

Eadie, that wasn't necessarily meant to be smooth talk. I was just trying to work some Van Halen references into the dialog. But perhaps I am under the incorrect assumption that your character's name is a reference to the greatest guitar player of the last 30 years.

![]() |

Maaarv, it’s all good from my side! :)
You’re right about Eddie Van Halen and I totally missed your references …
*D’oh* Seems so obvious in hindsight.

… Warrior needs food badly
This has been bugging me ... but I couldn't get it without interweb help.

Grumbles about her misspent hours of childhood playing Gauntlet before and after school at the 7-11
Oh, so that was you! Arcade games were a rare treat for me as a child. (20 cents a turn? – no one has that kind of money!)
BUT, a home version (run through your TV) PONG clone had made it to Australia by the early 80’s.
My brother and I thought it was the greatest thing we had ever seen.
We confidently predicted, “This game will NEVER be surpassed!”

![]() |

Sorry, GM. I'll remember to keep ooc in the discussion board. By the way, I just want to say that with one more bad roll on the Fort save, young Maarv could've bit it. He's currently at 3 DEX. 11 points of DEX damage. Nasty. :-)

![]() |

Apologies for the OOC clutter, GM, although I don't feel that this is meta-gaming. I'll drag that conversation here, then.
But wow, I didn't realise Maaarv went so low! Yikes, that was a close one. It'll probably take a couple more hits with lesser restoration to get you back up to snuff, then. (Unless you're lucky with those dice rolls!) Happy to chip in a bit to pay for some restoration spells on you two by the way.

![]() |

Thanks for the offer to pitch in. But Maaarv will refuse any monetary help. He's got 683 gp after the antitoxin - which should be enough to get him at least mostly back to normal.
And GM, my recounting of the damage numbers is not meant to be whining. This is really going to make an interesting scenario. It'll be something I get to tell my kids and grandkids about.
"Did I ever tell you about the time when I took 11 points of DEX damage..." Haha.

![]() |

I think I'll be keeping some antitoxin on me from now on as well. And I think my paladin might pick up the neutralise poison mercy too...

![]() |

What would you like to do now?
Get a stiff drink!
Wow! Way to go building up the tension. Great job, Neb!

![]() |

GM - I posted and lost my request for healing from Kary. I am in a rush toning and likely won't be able to post tonight. Would you mind RP-ing it out for me. Sorry to be a burden. Id like to get Maaarv back to at least 12 Dex. I can spend up to 688 gp. Thanks.

![]() |

Just letting everyone know that I have an exam tomorrow so I'm probably not going to be able to post until tomorrow afternoon after it's done. (Busy cramming maths!)

![]() |

Good luck, Mikhaere … or as Tengu actors say for luck, Break a Wing!

![]() |

Unless Maaarv or Eadie need some coin, which I am more than happy to give, Jarlgur will purchase the following:
Antitoxin (2) 100 gp
Antiplague (2) 100 gp
Scroll of Lesser Restoration (4 spells) 100 gp
Total 300 gp

![]() |

Lesser restoration is 150 gp per scroll.
All potions, scrolls, wands, and other consumables are made by clerics, druids, or wizards in Pathfinder Society Organized Play. The only exceptions are spells that are not on the cleric, druid, or wizard spell list. For example, a scroll of lesser restoration must be purchased as a 2nd-level scroll off the cleric spell list and may not be purchased as a 1st-level scroll off the paladin spell list.

![]() |

So, is 'golden scarab' just flavor text for gold pieces? If so, I think Maaarv was undercharged - shouldn't he have been charged 360 - 60 for each Restoration?
However, judging by those rolls, it seems a few of those priests weren't praying very hard. :-)
I honestly have not heard the golden scarab nomenclature before.

![]() |

You are correct on both sides. Don't know where 180 came from. So 360 for the lot. Honestly my mind was off. If you want to pay 380 for Restoration to get all of the damage healed, you can. Or 2 PP if you have any to spare. What ever you choose is cool. I should have given you the option, but my mind was fuzzy.
The nomenclature comes from the Inner Sea World Guide, p 253
Katapesh coinage goes grain(cp), penny (sp), scarab (gp) and genie (pp).

![]() |

Thanks for the well-wishes all! I think I did pretty decently.
Nebten, if it's okay I'd like to purchase two antitoxins as well, just in case. :) Time warp shenanigans or some such.

![]() |

I may have screwdriver up the battle map. I tried to access it from my kindle fire - with poor results. Sorry Neb.

![]() |

Apologies, so used to thinking when their down, their dead.
It's cool, Jarlgur :)
It's only 2 points of healing, Far is on his arse - sorry a$s, Mella is on her way and most importantly ... Maaarv is stable.

![]() |

Mella and Mikhaere you are making me smile
Mella congrats on your adventure in Wayfinder 9!
