I'm wondering why this particular beast gun has capacity since it's a 2 handed gun. What does it do for it? The reload action for capacity is identical to normal reloads other than the option to dual wield with them, which naturally wouldn't come up with 2 handed weapons.


The weapon has reload 2.

I'm seeing nothing in Capacity trait that mentions the number of actions needed to reload.

So I see 2 actions to reload a chamber, and 1 action to switch to a loaded chamber.

That would make the most sense I suppose. Although, I'll add that capacity also says you can reload normally as 1 interact action which contradicts reload 2 weapons.

Yeah, I can see how that is a bit less than clear when talking about a weapon with reload 2.

I mentally interpreted that to be 'you can reload each chamber separately using its normal reload process.'

Yeah, I don't see that as an override of the reload 2 of the weapon.

It takes one Interact action to change barrels
It takes two Reload actions to load a single round into a barrel

This weapon is bad. All Capacity weapons are bad.

The slide pistol has it's uses for a drifter. Only way you can really use running reload as one.


Grappling at range is fun I guess. Too bad the beast guns have static DCs. The archetype gives you a spell DC. Should have been able to replace those static DCs with your own.
