Animate Dead: The Full Guide, feedback wanted

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hey readers! I recently made a full guide to Animate Dead on youtube, and I was looking for feedback as I'm interested in making more pathfinder content in the future. If you have input, whether it's because you noticed I missed some details, got something wrong, had advice about my selection of graphics or didn't like the music, I need to hear it to improve.

Alternatively, if you need Animate Dead explained, please see the links below.

Personally I dislike videos for this type of information, I strongly prefer text so that I don't need to pause, look down in the comments for further info, or try to fast forward to the right spot for something I want to look at again later.

as you stated in your video it is very GM dependent.
You did not mention that it is generally Evil and that carries its own problems. With careful RP you can get it to Neutral but it also requires that you put the undead back to rest. Letting your dead grandma wander about is not Good!
In most cases the spell effects are not going to exceed your CR or adjust your Average Party Level(APL) up. It only becomes a problem (CR/APL wise) when continual accumulation of the caster's undead creatures is allowed to go unchecked. There are automatic In-Game controls both on total HD controlled and the game setting/backdrop.

While you're selling it as a path to power it isn't that in actual play. It would take a cooperative or brain-dead GM to allow it to be a path to power. All it takes is one encounter with a better controller than the caster OR an NPC group of undead hunters.

Some people do enjoy watching videos, but others prefer text (like myself). I think it would be cool if you created a text version of these guides. Having a text version also allows the reader to Ctrl+F to find keywords easier.
