Sap adept / Sap Master with a deadly sap?

Rules Questions

So I was just looking through the sap master feat and I was thinking that I could try to make a non-lethal barrage of sneak attacks on a rogue, but could you use deadly with it for essentially double sneak attack dmg?

"All damage a deadly weapon deals is normal (lethal) damage"

I could see where it could or couldn't change that double dice for sneak attack to full lethal, but I wanted to see what some others thought.

Edit:
Oh sorry i did put this in the wrong section

This is the Pathfinder 2nd Edition rules discussion forum. This sounds like a 1st edition question

Using the deadly trait is not going to give you more damage, in fact it would reduce your damage because now your sap deals lethal damage and doesn't meet the criteria for Sap Adept or Sap Master (which increase your damage with Sneak Attack).

The deadly trait allows you to deal lethal damage with a sap, which would usually deal non-lethal damage.

Lethal and non-lethal damage interact different with HP in PF1.

When non-lethal damage reaches your current HP you go unconscious. For lethal damage, it reduces your current HP and when it reaches 0 you go unconscious.

The deadly trait wont do anything like doubling your damage, and would be bad because it would invalidate Sap Adept/Master.

To clarify, the damage from an individual attack is either going to be lethal or non-lethal. You could suppress the Deadly trait to make it non-lethal and gain the benefit of Sap Master/Adept but then you've wasted the trait.
