Has anyone run a party of the 4 iconics for their respective AP?

Just rereading the back of Council of Thieves #1, where the iconics are Lem, Seltyiel as a Level 1 Fighter, Seelah, and Seoni, and it got me thinking what an odd combo Bard, Fighter, Paladin, Sorcerer would seem to me as a GM about to run the AP.

Has anyone still on the forums run or played any of the APs with the “recommended” 4 iconics? Did it feel balanced?

The Order of the Amber Die does Iconic runthroughs for their marathons for 1e APs. Haven't seen any write ups for 2e material though. A few of their attempts made the Paizo blog.

I can’t really see much motivation to do this. It’s not like the Iconics have backstories that fit into the AP plotlines, and they wouldn’t have any reason to take the AP-specific Backgrounds that do tie into the plot.

And I like pregens much more than most.

No, however,...

When "Burnt Offerings" came out and I needed NPCs to fill out Sandpoint -- since there wasn't a whole heap of source material at the time, I had to put the four iconics in Sandpoint as NPCs. As it so often happens when new adventures are published, I didn't start DMing in Sandpoint for several months -- using material from volumes 1, 2, & 3 of RotRL in a homebrew -- but in time, only the NPC Ezren was the only one of the iconics that got much more than an initial meet-and-greet with the PCs. The group pretty much ignored and forgot about the others as they went about their adventuring.

I prepped to, once, but the game fell through before session one ever started.
