I've grown especially fond of the abilities and lore of the Inquisitor class the more I've read about NPC characters. Also, the Skinwalker race was one of the first races I ever discovered for Pathfinder, so I really want these two to work together in a character build.
I want to figure out a way to make the abilities of my race compliment my class, and I was hoping this forum could help me figure out a good build concept.
I plan to play this as either an archer caster, or a more melee oriented character, but I'm not sure if the favored weapons of the deities I'm interested in (Ashava or Tsukiyo) are any good, or if natural weapons are in any way useful for an Inquisitor.
If anyone could give me some advice and help me settle this, I'd really appreciate it :)
Well, for starters, it would be good to know which subrace you plan to use. That alone can direct you to a melee or a ranged build.

I'm actually not sure. I was considering base, werewolf, werebear, or wereraptor.

Base: +2 Wisdom, –2 Intelligence, +2 to One Physical Ability Score While in Bestial Form
Bear: +2 Constitution, –2 Charisma (+2 Wisdom while shapechanged)Raptor: +2 Wis, –2 Cha (+2 Dex while shapechanged)
Wolf: +2 Constitution, –2 Intelligence (+2 Wisdom while shapechanged)
Well, the good news is that all 4 forms have a bonus to Wisdom, perfect for your spells. The bad news is that... only the base and raptor forms get you a Physical score. Then again, the bear and the wolf have Constitution bonuses, which can help you tank a few hits in melee.
Bear and Wolf look better in melee, while Raptor looks better in ranged (given the Dex bonus). The Base form can be customized for either form of combat, since the Physical Bonus can be applied to Strength, Dexterity or Consitution when shape-changed.
Then again... the rest of your stats will help you decide which form to select ;)

Tsukiyo's Longspear is a lot easier to work with than Ashava's Bladed Scarf. With the reach, and the Skinwalker FCB, I could see an Intimidate/melee build being feasible. Combat Reflexes, Power Attack, Hurtful, and Cornugon Smash is probably better action economy than Dazzling Display... although the area effect of Dazzling Display is nice.

Was thinking about Ravener Hunter (for Lunar Mystery abilities) and/or Sanctified Slayer, with a minor interest in Umbral Stalker. I was also thinking about the Madness Domain in the case of Tsukiyo, to boost its power if I go Evangelist, or Revelry Subdomain for Ashava.
Also, maybe the conversion inquisition.
