2 people marked this as a favorite. |
I am currently running Mummy's Mask for a group on roll20 but due to some of the maps having a pushed grid due to doors, I have to make them all by hand, as well as fill out handouts, gather player art, etc. I reached out to both Roll20 and Paizo to see if there was a possibility of getting a professionally made campaign much like their Rise of the Runelords Anniversary edition.
There answer was expected: reach out to Paizo, then post on the forums to see if others would agree.
Lend your aupport so fellow GM as well as anyone running this can get a little more time to prep the juciy bits and not just pour over maps and stat blocks.
Or if you have any suggestions, let me know.
Thanks

Listening to Find The Path's podcast of this AP has definitely made me more likely to run it. I'd hope I'm not alone in that. And having to draw your own maps rather than import pretty maps to Roll20 would definitely be an impediment to that.
It is a great AP so far. We're only in book two but it is map intensive as there are a lot of locations to bounce around to, especially if you want to have a more visual play style.

roguerouge -- I needed to run a more light-hearted, classic-style game after finishing Hell's Rebels so my group asked for Mummy's Mask. It was an absolute delight!
Undead heavy for some parts of it, with a tonne of variation of the types of undead so it never felt monotonous. The allies and enemies are fairly obvious, while still having some parts with ambiguous NPCs that allowed for some RP.Compared to the shades of grey that Hell's Rebels is, Mummy's Mask was exactly the type of break I was looking for. It is a much more "kick down the door and kill what you find" game, but we all loved the story as well as the surprises it throws at the players.

The first 4 books of the AP make up two of the best arcs in the paizo canon. There's great stuff in the last 2 as well, they just aren't my jam. And yes, FIND THE PATH is great stuff. Great on storytelling, character building, and [gasp!] tight on rules.

The only reason I haven't purchased the AP yet is it's not available in Roll20 or Foundry. If that is changed I'll buy b then immediately.

Its 2023 and If there was a relatively high resolution module for Foundry VTT made for Mummy's Mask I would purchase it immediately and run it!
I shared the maps that I have created for my games in another thread, feel free to use those. if you want the DD2VTT files to import into Foundry/Roll20/whatever, drop me a note, and I'll package them all up for you.
I could module them up for a Foundry module, but it would take a couple weeks to sort, but would include walls, lights, sounds, etc.
have fun running your campaign

Hi there, sorry to bother you but I found your post through a google search and I was hoping you might still have access to those DD2VTT files. I'm planning on running Mummy's Mask in a bit and I'd love to save some time if possible. I took a look at those maps you posted in the other thread and they look great by the way, thanks for posting those!
