So, first question: Should I recruit for additional players?
I guess that depends ... how many players do we think we currently have? I agree that 5 seems a good number for PbP, but having said that, wouldn't wanna turn anyone away either.
I'll be playing Korakai. Anyone know where to find the BB code for the character at level 5?
Sorry, don't know where any BB coded characters are.
Note: I'll have Dennis' char sheet updated to level 5 within a day.

![]() |

You can find them (but needs some digging) on one of the links in the header of Cottonseed PFS PbP (2e),
then there is this PbP Lodges and Guides
where you will find a clickable link for PbP Pregens BB Code,
but to make it easy, here is the link to BB Code for Level 5 Korakai.

I was unable to us the RPG Chronicles to do the sign up as it was full up. Was the TBD signup supposed to me for me?
@Sunshine
thanks for the links!

GM Super Zero |

Yes. Hold off on that. I'll open it to one more after a bit when someone else is less likely to jump on it.

how could I not want to play with Dennis again... 3 glyphs to share. Too bad Hancock is off killing slimy creatures...

Pregen II PbP |

Oh, but Hancock is definitely in his element right now.

![]() |

I have 1 glyph to share. I will be bringing my rootball chair, Ugatpuno, this time.

![]() |

I've played the other 2 in the arc but not with Shayna. The only one who has is Zhamie and she's off in Arcadia.

GM Super Zero |

3 + 1 + 1 = 5 by my count. Who gets Glyph points?
I've added space for Korakai on RPGChronicles. When you're filling it out for a pregen, enter the rest of the information for the character who's receiving the Chronicle and then put Korakai's level in the spot that says "Pregen Level."
You can add him to the Slides as well.
And I added an image of the hath phool.

So we have 5 extra hero points to distribute among 6 players? I propose that three of them go to our level 3 PCs: Shayna, Sunshine, and Alice.
Then maybe Mimi, Korakai, and Dennis can roll off for the remaining 2. Highest two rolls get them?

Regarding RPG Chronicles and dealing with playing a pregen...
Character Name: The character being accredited to is Achurius, the pregen is Korekai. Wasn't sure which name to put in there.
Character Level: It would not let me put Achurius' actual level in there since it was too low so I put level 3 there. I assume I have to wait until Achurius is level 3 before applying the chronicle?
Starting Rep: Achurius has 17 in Vigilant Seal plus 2 in Envoy's Alliance. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to put the total in this field since there is a separate field for Envoy's Alliance rep.

Ah. It says the level of your Chronicle, so it might need to be either the level of your pregen (in which case yes, it applies as soon as the character hits the appropriate level) or 1.

I only answered half of that.
Current Reputation means your own Faction. It asks about factions tagged in the scenario separately so that it can give correct totals for all of them.
The amount added is the important part, some people leave those blank.

![]() |

The "Name/Faction/Level" IIRC is the info for the character getting the chronicle.

Pregen II PbP |

Then I think I got it all right. I just have to remember to only apply the chronicle after he reaches level 3, which won't take too long.

That's for your records. Paizo's site will apply it. It's not smart enough to tell... (which is one reason why I don't like playing pregens to join a higher level game)... It actually accepted a game report with an invalid date, but left it blank when someone checked it.

![]() |

LOL! Two hero points burned to achieve the exact opposite effect we wanted. Talk about pulling defeat from the jaws of victory (or should that be the other way around?). Hilarious!

Pregen II PbP |

Hilarious, no? I guess some folks just don't like losing. So now the question is whether we lose the battle on purpose.

Pregen II PbP |

Mean is OK, as long as you are fun mean.

Pregen II PbP |

Removed Korakai based on the fact that it is uneven terrain. I assume the thug will still be moved next to him.

![]() |

... I don't think you accounted for the difficult terrain there.
I did. She can move 7 squares and from where she started it was 3 diagonal movements. With difficult terrain that would be 2 + 3 + 2 = 7 squares.

Hero Point nominations?
Anyone with 0 hero points gets my vote. Otherwise, Alice, who (like Dennis) valiantly spent a hero point when trying to make a convincing effort, while still trying to lose!

probably should have said re-moved. Rereading this it could be read as I took him off the map.

GM Super Zero |

I was momentarily about that, yes.

Oh, is that what you were doing? My mistake!
Although that fight went pretty well for you, even without it.

I agree wholeheartedly :)

Pregen II PbP |

Does anyone have 0 HP? Works for me if so, otherwise to whoever would actually remember to use one. I tend to forget unless the character is dying.

![]() |

Did we decide who got the Hero Point?
Mimi is at 0 so she's a candidate, and given the skill checks that are coming up, she might be able to make use of it.

GM Super Zero |

You wouldn't be likely to make it worse, but with all risk and no reward I kinda figured you would pass.

Looks like Sunshine may be incommunicado through Tuesday if Frost's recent post to Cottonseed Discussion is anything to go by.

Looks like Fasiel will be going down about as quickly as he did the first time. Poor guy; can't catch a break.

![]() |

With these mirrors, Fasiel might last a little longer than we think.
Yeah, the halberd is nice. The reach is the main thing, esp to trigger AoO far more often. Plus it's versatile P/S, which is a nice bonus. Once you add some striking and a bardsong, it can do really well -- as long as you don't need a free hand.

GM Super Zero |

One character broke three of them in one round. Although they're certainly helping.
Oh, and I see I left off an important word. Fasiel dealt nonlethal piercing damage, as a result of Safa's magic.

GM Super Zero |

The trigger for the mirrors' disruption was inflicting one of several debilitating conditions on Fasiel, or dealing 20+ damage to him. Sunshine's scorching ray had a damage roll that high, but only to the rakshasa which wasn't protected. To Fasiel she dealt slightly less.
Dennis's first damage roll was also a little less, but it was a crit so the actual damage dealt ended up being more.
For a moment there it kind of looked like the trigger was being hit by Dennis. It didn't block the spell, but it blocked all three of Dennis's attack. Based on the information you had, blocking weapon strikes was a good guess.

I'm test driving a Magus with Inexorable Iron. He's got a halberd :)

Please go ahead and double-check RPG Chronicles.
And do downtime rolls if you want to do that here.

Sunshine will use her Naturalist (Verdant Wheel) boon to craft a batch of 4 lesser healing potions (12 gp x 4 = 48 gp total). The boon says "choose a common alchemical item or potion of your level or lower to which you have access". I assume I don't need to have the item's formula in order to Craft it as long as I have access to it. Is that correct?
Spending first two days and 24 gp for raw materials to Craft: DC 18 Nature (Trained) to Craft Items: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28 (Crit Success?)
Spending remaining 6 days to reduce cost of items to be crafted: DC 18 Nature (Trained) to Earn Income: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28 (Crit Success?, 7 sp x 6 days = 4.2 gp to subtract on remaining 24 gp)
Spent 43.8 gp for four lesser healing potions.

Here is my official Earn Income roll for Mimi's 8 days of downtime.
Between adventures, Mimi can usually be found at her grandfather's fencing academy in Gralton giving lessons on the proper use of a rapier.
Performance (Earn Income) with Storied Talent vs DC 20: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28
According to this table a success for 8 days of trained income earned at level 5 gains her: 8*9sp = 7.2gp
