My Mummy's Mask campaign has just finished after 18 months.
We are going to be starting Curse of the Crimson Throne in a few weeks time.
To give our 'forever DM' a break but also carrying on playing one of my group (not me this time) is going to run the 'Hollow' series.
I have been told it is going to be levels 1 to 8 with leveling every session.
I want to play a Human Mongrel Mage (Sorcerer) and have 25 point buy

If you can justify it in your background then noble scion beats improved initiative.
You're going to be without bloodline spells and too low level for metamagic to help much for most of the game. It might be worth investing a bit in charged magic items and maybe in the UMD skill.
Several bloodlines can give bonuses to some skill or another. I don't mean the class skills per bloodline, which you don't get, but the imperious bloodline's 1st level power or the shadow or vestige bloodline arcanas. You won't have a lot of skill points though. Maybe investing in feats like improvisation and/or inexplicable luck could make use of those bonuses and be fun?
