Anyone know if there has been any discussion of purchasing electronic copies of all the PF1 materials at a discount now that it has been out of publication for a while?
I've found a few paperbacks in the discount rack at various shops and used book stores. However, I don't like to lug all that stuff around. I vastly prefer to have all of it available on my laptop when I travel.
Since it is out of publication, I'm not going to buy any more of it for list price. However, if it were at a deep discount, I might consider it just to have all of it.

I've seen some bundle offers on Humble Bundle. Basically a whole bunch of books are lumped together and sold at steep discount. Some of the proceeds go to charity. There were several bundles for pathfinder (grouped by theme) in the past year, I think, but they've since expired. There is currently a bundle for starfinder right now.

There are 10% and 25% discounts a few times per year, but I guess this doesn't count as a deep discount. Humble Bundles are much cheaper, though you have to wait for the offers (very roughly one per year) and accept the content as it is.
I don't see any regular price reductions for PDFs soon. These digital books still have their value for PF1 players and GMs, they don't cause Paizo serious cost for storage or protection, and they become more valuable as the physical books become more difficult to get.
Beyond that, there is free access to Archives of Nethys, d20PFSRD and PathfinderWiki. Honorable mention goes to Pathfinder Spell Facets.
