Impaired Visibility Encounters in PFS 2e

I haven’t played a PFS character higher than 5th level, but there hasn’t been a situation where visibility was an issue (invisible enemies, darkness, etc). Does this become more prevalent at higher levels? I’m considering taking an enhanced sense, but wondering if it’s worth it. Thanks!

There are several scenarios which feature invisible enemies. I ran one this weekend at 3-6.

Although it comes up, you need to evaluate a proportional response. You can always purchase an elixir of darkvision, or a scroll of see invisibility.

Even though invisibility is more serious, I'd prioritize darkvision over invisibility - there's a big team benefit for getting everyone darkvision (so light doesn't give away your position). Darkness comes up all the time, not actively cast as a spell but just because a lot of monsters have darkvision so there's no natural light.

Underground, sure. I don't think the conclusion follows from the premise in the general case though.

I recently had a group in tier 5-6 with no easy means to reveal an invisible attacker who did not become visible on attacking. Scrolls of faerie fire are 12gp, allow no save and the effect lasts 5 minutes. I strongly recommend picking some up.
