If you gave a fighter the incorporeal ability, could the fighter affect and damage corporeal targets?

Judging by how Ghosts work, incorporeal fighters can attack corporeal targets just as well as corporeal fighters can attack incorporeal targets:

When a ghost is created, it retains incorporeal “copies” of any items that it particularly valued in life (provided the originals are not in another creature’s possession). The equipment works normally for the ghost but passes harmlessly through material objects or creatures. A weapon of +1 or better magical enhancement, however, can harm material creatures, but any such attack deals only half as much damage (50%) unless it is a ghost touch weapon. A ghost can use shields or armor only if they have the ghost touch quality.

Also, remember that an incorporeal fighter "has no Strength score, so its Dexterity modifier applies to its melee attacks, ranged attacks, and CMB."

So basically if a fighter has a +1 long sword and becomes incorporeal he only deals 50% damage to any corporeal opponent and he uses his dexterity modifier to attack.

I assume this just makes him a defensive fighter that can’t really deal out any damage since it’s only 50% and no bonus on damage

Sovereign Court

Ghost Touch weapons would be 100%.
Or the AWT: Warrior Spirit, which is very thematic.

Amulet of Grasping Souls is an option, but expensive at 21k.

If you are looking for a way for the fighter to become incorporeal, Ghost Syrup is relatively cheap (6k) and a permanent option. And you aren't undead so... bonus?
