Tumble Through says "You can Tumble Through using Climb, Fly, Swim, or another action instead of Stride in the appropriate environment." I'm trying to climb five feet, then tumble through an enemy standing at the edge of this ledge. My DM ruled I need a climb speed to do this. They say climbing with without a climb speed isn't striding and therefore can't be combined with using tumble through. Is this correct?

Unlike some feats out there, nothing in Tumble Through specifies you need a corresponding speed, just that it needs to be the appropriate environment.
Fly requires a fly speed, but neither Swim nor Climb do. AFAICT, the intent is that you can use the Climb/Swim skill action with Tumble Through if appropriate, regardless of what speed types you have.

Xethik is right, I was initially wrong. The action says "You can Tumble Through using Climb, Fly, Swim, or another action instead of Stride in the appropriate environment.", it makes no mention that it requires a speed.
The problem is that Climbing without a Speed is really slow. With 40 speed you only move 10 feet on a Climb success, and 15 on a Crit. Plus the creature is Difficult Terrain so it's even worse.

Yeah, I think it would be very situational to having some sort of "Climb action increaser without actually having a climb speed" like the Cavern Kobold heritage.
