Does anyone know if and where the various sourcebooks clarify whether a contemplative's psychic flight is purely mental and would still be available while limited to purely mental actions?

I'm playing a contemplative character and haven't been able to locate an answer in case my character becomes paralyzed.

Thanks in advance

No, they don't.

Along this, is there any sort of list of purely mental actions?

No

Sad but makes sense.

Having a list instead of using judgement would probably restrict things unnecessarily. The biggest moment of Purely Mental action I've had come up in game was a paralyzed envoy linked to the rest of the party with a Telepathic Bond spell using improvisations that would not likely be on that list, if it existed.

That's very fair. I'm just trying to figure out where the lines exist.

Certainly telepathy seems reasonable, but can you take the actions to use improvisations and whatnot?
Spells all lack components to casting, so can you still cast if paralyzed or held? Aside from the mind link servos armor mod, I'm not sure what's a mental action basically lol. And even that I'm not sure what the action is supposed to be to use it, unless it's a free action or intended only for when you're held.

Spellcasting oddly enough seems to be a purely mental action as long as there's no attack roll involved.

Healing channel doesn't require any movement or speaking

So next time I get held person cast on me, I can cast spells still? Lol. That's fun!

I THINK so. But that seems to be an (unintended?) consequence of taking the components out.

Headcannon is a Pathfinder era caster and a starfinder era caster meet up at some point.

Cleric "How do you cast without moving or speaking the words of power?"

Mystic "The what now?"

Cleric "...You're casting everything silenced and stilled. No wonder it takes you so long to learn second level spells...How do you cast the 7th level spells?"

mystic "The what now?"

Another wonky thing is that if you're grappled by a creature that only has one attack (like a bite) or can only reach you with one attack (like a really long tentacle) its possible to be safer casting while grappled because its limb is occupied and it can't AOO you when you cast.
