Expert Armor Proficiency

As a Fighter is there a good way to get Expert in Heavy Armor Proficiency before you get Armor Expertise at 11th level?

To elaborate, I am wondering how on earth you meet the prerequisite of expert in Heavy Armor at 8th level for the Armiger's Mobility Feat in the Lost Omens World Guide?

Champions, being The Absolute Best in armor the way fighters are with in weaponry, get armor expertise at 7th. The lowest level at which someone could take the feat often becomes the level of the feat---that is, this one is level 8 because some people can qualify then, not because everybody can.

Right. Options to boost your proficiency earlier or higher than your class allows are basically not a thing that exists, or that we should ever expect to exist. At least not outside of the design space if something like the Class Archetypes that do not yet exist, but which could conceivably have big enough adjustments to pay for that kind of thing.

That doesn't seem right though? Hellknights have to be Lawful, so only a Lawful Good Paladin could get the Hellknight feat before level 11?

With the Advanced Player's Guide a LE Champion (Tyrant) could get it but that book came out much much later.

Yes, that's correct.

Well to the world of casters who have to wait until level 13 to get expert in armor. With no way to ever get it faster.

Or the world of any class not named Fighter getting Master in weapons before level 13.

I mean, champions are the only class that increases their armor proficiency before level 11/13, being armored is one of their signature things.

It's not that weird. In this case, when designing this feat, they probably focused more on the proficiency prerequisite than the level they wanted it to be available. Once they decided it should be available to people who are experts in heavy armor, they looked at what class could get that the earliest, the champion, and gave the feat the appropriate level. So now, paladins and tyrants (or fallen champions of other alignments) can get this at level 8, and other characters can take the feat later. It's a lot like all the skill feats that have odd level requirements just because of the rogue.
