Just like there are people who want more 1E content, there are plenty of people who convert back and forth between the editions without much effort. Certainly not enough to be considered a burden. But really, the point is, we can keep dredging up the wish that Paizo produce more content for 1E every few weeks/months as it has happened for the past year and a half, but they’ve made it fairly clear that they have no plans to do so. They often say that they never say never, but constantly lamenting about it is having zero affect. Maybe your efforts would be better used somewhere that might actually encourage change. Good luck

i thought they did decide to produce limited 1e content? Isn’t the new Kingmaker edition getting a Paizo 1e support supplement?
Along the lines of what people are saying; there isn’t a big desire for new rules content, but AP support still has a market. Although i could imagine that if/when they create completely new classes (e.g., Inventor), there might be interest in a 1e conversion supplement.

I've actually not run into much PF2e content that I feel compelled to convert back to PF1e, and I'm one of those psychopaths who actually likes writing PF1e content from scratch (enjoys =/= skilled).
Strength of Thousands might change this. I'm not really blown away by any of the new monsters, spells, or APs/modules. Not that it's bad mind you - I like PF2e (as you know) but nothing screams "convert me!". If I run something in Garund, or maybe in Ravounel.
Conversely, I've done a lot of converting PF1e to PF2e with mixed success. I've enjoyed converting book 1 of Hell's Rebels and planning to continue with the AP. I'm also planning to convert Strange Aeons starting at book 3, which will be... interesting.
I'm actually okay at this point with their being no 1:1 conversation between PF1e to PF2e - it helps reinforce that despite the shared name they're very different games and in my exceptionally humble opinion different settings (controversy!).

I was hoping for more Unchained books. Another Ultimate Equipment book. Maybe a Spell Tome.
My unrealistic dream was for a Rules Compendium. Or maybe even just a Rules Index to make finding that one feat in that one book easier. (I mean, we have the internet, so it simultaneously proves it can be done (archives of Nethys), and also proves a book wouldn't be needed when you have the HTTP)
If they were to produce stuff now, like others I would be very pleased to just see more adventures. Even if it was just side-by-side notes in current PF2 APS.
Oh, and Tales! Bring back tales! Heck I'd probably still get them even if they're techically PF2 cause, well, ultimate form of fluff.
And, I'm still in the early stages of grief over the Card Game getting the axe yesterday. So...bring that back as well!
And PF1 Society.
Oh....man. Already pining for the good ol' days....

My interest would be Adventure Paths. I believe we have enough rules already. Paizo would have my money if they 1) produced more PF1 APs, 2) produced PF2 APs with notes on how to convert the encounters to PF1, and 3) produced PF1 rules and spell compendiums (like 3.5 did previously, break them up by class).

I've spent hundreds of dollars over the last year on 1E products. Technically I spent a little to get the 2E Corebook with the Humble Bundle but I haven't read any of it, and I really only spent it because at that price I figured I'd kick myself later if I could only find 2E games. So I am voting with dollars at the moment, but it is a little sad to finally (been playing since '89) have the resources to get more into convention gaming and just watch it all move on.

Paizo would have my money if they...
I think that's true for a lot of people. In fact, like most businesses, Paizo wants everyone's money. However, they are smart enough to know they cannot make everyone happy enough to get their money so they have to focus their limited resources where is can earn them the most money. It seems clear that is Pathfinder 2E and Starfinder. If they could get the moneys for 1E, there would have been little need to move on to 2E. Granted revenue/profit is not the only thing, but when you have dozens of employees to pay, among other expenses, it is the most important thing.

I think they already answered that question when they chose to launch a new edition and stop releasing material for the prior one. There is no argument that there is still some demand for PF1E material. The issue has always been, is that demand high enough to pay for the cost of production and be sustainable. If there was money to be made on 1E, I have to think they would be throwing resources at it. I think some people conflate Paizo's lack of ongoing 1E material and them thinking there is no demand. They know there is demand, just not enough demand.
What is more telling is the lack of much 3PP ongoing support for 1E. The 3PP are usually looking to squeeze any dollar they can out of their products. If there was ample demand for 1E material, and we know that Paizo is not really a competitor with 1E anymore, the 3PP would be jumping at the chance to fill that nitch, but they really aren't. That's a pretty good indicator that either there isn't much demand for 1E anymore or its much less than 2E demand. They are going to invest their resources wherever it'll have the greatest return.

Depends on definition. At the very least I know Legendary Games is continuing to release 1e material. I know that primarily because I'm in touch with them for purposes of staying up on their spiritual continuation of the PF1 rules.
Still, much of what you say is true, and I think we've probably got what is the optimal situation. I'm going to throw out hypothetical math here.
Imagine Paizo has 100 customers buying PF2 material today. Let's say that if they resumed PF1 material they'd get say... 30 customers. Problem is, they'd probably lose some of the 100 customers from the PF2 side. Let's say only 10 customers back-ported. Net result is 120 customers, in a 90/30 split between editions. Looks okay on paper, but also means much more work to maintain two product lines.
Now. If a third-party (like Legendary) does something like a PF1.5 numbers would probably look different. Say the same 10 customers jump ship, leaving Paizo with 90 customers. Fine. They've only got one product line to support, so they're better off than the 90/30 scenario. Also, the 3rd-party with PF1.5 might actually end up with more than the 30 customers Paizo would have, because they'd be able to pitch "it's PF1, only better". So they might end up with... 50 customers, which might be enough to justify the project.
This is all hypothetical and all representative numbers. But I think it's clear that Paizo has zero interest in splitting their attention. The PF1 market is dead to them, which I can respect and understand.
As for 3PP in general... I'm pretty sure that a number of them have pulled away from Paizo's storefront for various reasons. Unfortunately, that also reduces visibility, so I'm really not sure what all is still getting released for PF1.

Which 3PP pulled away from Paizo's storefront?
Purple Duck Games is the biggest one that I am aware of, for reasons I have yet to learn. I assume that anyone not involved in making products compatible with PF2 or Starfinder might drop support from Paizo passively (by not bothering to submit new products to the Paizo store) rather than actively (by actually requesting removal of existing products from the Paizo store). There are many 3pp products compatible with Paizo's games that I have seen at drivethrurpg.com but not in the Paizo store.

The Spheres of Power/Might guys keep releasing supplements. There's been continued Akashic support. Legendary Games still releases PF1 pdfs from time to time and their recent AP collaboration with FGG was also for first edition. The Savage Company guys are still making everything for Pathfinder 1e and plan to release their own 1-20 AP in the coming year. So, if you know where to look, there is still plenty of new content coming out for PF1, just not from Paizo.

Purple Duck also released their own expansion to Pathfinder. A 3.85 edition perhaps? I haven't picked it up because the price of the book is pretty hefty, but I want to check it out some time.
I have a copy of their work in progress for their updated version of Pathfinder (I think they called it the "Porphyra Roleplaying Game"), but I have seen no updates to it for a while, and it was far from complete the last time I looked at it.

I have heard of "spheres of power", but what are "spheres of might"?
Spheres of Might contains the classes for the martial oriented classes. Then there is a third smaller supplement that meets in the middle combining magic and melee called "Champions of the Spheres."
It's all pretty good stuff. Power-wise, I always say it's on the barbarian end of the power scale. Mixes best with other spheres-based characters because they chop up Action Economy in many ways and regular classes might feel underpowered in comparison.

I’m still buying so many PF1 books and would of course continue to buy new content!
I just hope for paizo that they continue to support Pathfinder Society for first edition at Cons etc because I’m not playing PF2.
And PFS to be honest is a big driver for me to buy all content that is relevant for my characters!

With no new content in several years it is becoming increasingly hard to organise PF1 at cons, totally hit/miss affair and I'm looking to cut it away locally in Sydney - just not worth the hassle. IF a group indicates they want to come to the con to play X scenario/module at a con I can add it to the roster, but it's just not worth scheduling scenarios otherwise.

Its only anecdotal to be sure, but our last two local cons wound up cancelling nearly all of the 1E content scheduled because of a lack of GMs, players, or both. It is going to become increasingly difficult to support it as time goes on and I would imagine in most places organizers will stop trying if they don't have a strong pocket of locals. For major event like Gen Con, PaizoCon, Origins, etc. you can probably safely assume that 1E will continue to appear for a couple (few?) more years. Those events draw such a large crowd, especially online that it will be much easier to find willing participants.

The issue is that Paizo released P2E and literally pulled the plug on P1E immediately. If the transition was smoother, with some P2E rules being converted into P1E, that would have been better.
As of now, P2E is lacking the customisation aspect that P1E is known for, and the fact that they didn't take 50% of P1E to start with is pretty annoying.
Are you really telling me that the only new things to add as core rules were the Alchemist and the Goblin?

50% of PF1E was less profitable than 100% of PF2E.
They condensed the text, simplified the rules, added more pages and upgraded the D20 system... but the ONLY things they added in the core rules are the Alchemist and the Goblin?!?
"50% of PF1E" is "half the classes, races, spells, monsters and items from P1E" and convert it to P2E, so people aren't too screwed when transferring their characters.

I understand that, but seeing that that many P1E classes are hybrid classes, those could have been reworked in the first print.

If Paizo made more 1e products( yeah I know "and monkeys might fly out of my butt"), but if it actual happened, would you buy them?
Yes, definitely.
I continue to buy PF1 materials off the secondary market, but I would buy them new if in print.
Also would you be more interested in mostly new, roughly 50/50 new and reprints, or mostly reprints/updated stuff?
50/50

The simple fact is if more people had been buying PF1E they wouldn't have needed to create PF2E. If you have any understanding of the history of fantasy TTRPG market, you'll know that 1E ran its profitable course. Could more things have been released for 1E? Sure, but 2E is much more profitable. That's how business works.

Crayon |
Core Books are the most profitable because every group buys at least 1 copy and sometimes several - beyond that you get into diminishing returns with fewer people buying the books while they cost the same amount to produce so the profit-margin just gets thinner and thinner.
I don't care for PF2 (or PF1 at this point), but I don't doubt that a new edition was required from a financial perspective - unfortunately, PF2 is far still too new to adequately compare sales figures against its predecessor.
