Nantambu’s populace boasts dozens of different ancestries, from Ekujae elves to Jaha lizardfolk, gnolls to catfolk. Here one can find even the most reclusive of Mwangi peoples, such as the shy anadi, many-eyed goloma, bone-feathered shisks, or inevitable-worshipping conrasu with their elaborate biological machines and living wooden exoskeletons.
So Gnolls, Anadi, Conrasu, Goloma, Shisks and Grippli.
Nice.

Not spoiling this info (which we've been working on for MANY months) has been a test of my patience! I'm so relieved we've finally been able to announce it and we don't have to be all "Mmmm I dunno" when people keep asking for exactly what this book is focusing on. YAY! :-)
Well, clearly the cat's out of the bag now so you can tell us if conrasu operate in their day to day lives in those exoskeletons? I'm imagining those cartoon gags about a dangerous enemy actually being a robot piloted by a very small person and am wondering if I should temper that expectation.

I love companies that listen to their customer base.
Gnolls AND Anadi??? And this is taking place in the MWangi with a KILLER AP the following month??This is amazing!!

So, question- do any of these races have hair?
Other than orcs (and maybe leshy if you are creative), I've noticed that most of the other noncore ancestries don't really have hair, since they go fairly heavy on the animal-like race scale with the version of art in this edition.
Not saying that those races are bad. just noting the room for more variety.

Is this just about Mwangi Expanse non-human ancestries, or is it setting product giving broad info including about native Humans ethnicites and nations who dwell is Mwangi Expanse and/or Southern Garund? It sounds like it is Mwangi Expanse-centric, but alot of those races have been associated to Southern Garund AFAIK, so not sure if this meant for Mwangi+Southern Garund asa a whole or what... Seems plausible there could be other native ethnic groups in Southern Garund besides Mwangi, even if they also extend south also...?
Is it correct an AP will be coordinated with this release? Any other announcements along with this?
...I didn't see this PAX stream and don't know where to look it up :-)

Oh no! I missed that! Any way we can re-watch it at some point later?
Looks like the VOD is up on PAX's Twitch already here !

Don't mistake "We can tell you we're working on this book due out in about a year" for "We can now tell you everything about this book!"
But I can say this—I'm not interested in turning ANY ancestry into a joke, so don't worry about Men in Black style goofy going on with the conrasu.

Speculating the ancestries will be: Gnoll & Grippli uncommon and the rest rare.
I pray for all the Gods in Golarion that you are right. The opression must end. Pray with me fellow wizards....

So uh, just to clarify despite the comparison I made I wasn't actually expecting the conrasu to be a gag ancestry. There is plenty of opportunity for a small ancestry that is considered medium due to their fantasy mechs to be quite cool.

I do like trends for regions that isn't avistan tending to have their own six ancestries(whether including humans or not) so you could pretty easily provide alternate set of "core" ancestries for any particular continent or wider region :3
Anyhoo, pretty hyped for Goloma, Shisk and Konrasu ;D I wonder if I should next work on seeing if the two new ancestries from Vudra get brought back again eventually

What are Conrasu, Goloma, and Shisks? Googling them didn't turn up anything useful. Can't even seem to find a pic.
There's just one sentence in the World Guide, in the section about Nantambu:
Here one can find even the most reclusive of Mwangi peoples, such as the shy anadi, many-eyed goloma, bone-feathered shisks, or inevitable-worshipping conrasu with their elaborate biological machines and living wooden exoskeletons.

Gnolls, Anadi, and Grippli. Can't say I'm super psyched for these. Always good to have more content but these don't do anything for me.
Conrasu, Goloma, and Shisks. I'll be interested to see what they look like [mechanically AND physically]. The blurb makes them sound... curious? I don't know if they'll be odd in a bad way or a good way. ;)

So, do we want to take a stab at what the Goloma, Shisks, and Conrasu might be?
The one's we know the most about, thus far, are the Conrasu. LOWG describes them as an "Inevitable-worshiping" people, with "elaborate biological machines and living wooden exoskeletons." Which, sounds cool on it's own.
Allie and Luis further describe them as a kind of "cocoon people" who are "waiting to be possessed" by Aeons, with "bio-mechnaical bodies, made of plant matter and wood."
All of this makes them sound like Metapod and Kakuna, if they were possessed by spirits of law, and wore Iron Man suits made of wood and plants. And her comment about not liking bugs makes me think they will, in fact, be bugs.
Same with the Goloma. Many eyes doesn't define a lot, but it is evocative of either insecets or maybe Aberrations. Coincidentally, there is a kind of moth from Guatemala called the Ormetica goloma. So, maybe Mothfolk?
The Shisks sound like they could possibly be a Avian people with "bone feathers"? Being a Jungle, I can see them being tropical birds of some descript. Decidedly less Corvid like than our friends the Tengu. That would be neat.

Could be like a Dodomeki [hundred hundred eye yokai].
Coincidentally, there is a kind of moth from Guatemala called the Ormetica goloma.
Goloma is the plural version of the Slovenian gol which means naked. So maybe it's a race of exhibitionists?

This book is going to have the most eyes per ancestry of any pathfinder book ever, particularly because the Anadi probably have eight.
Their natural form looks to have only two. Their spider form does indeed, naturally, have eight.

Dodomeki would be cool, but in a region inspired by laregly African culture? Probably not. Also, correct me if I wrong, but they were confirmed as monsters in Bestiary 3. Dodomeki that is.
I'm strangely down for the exhibitionist moth people, if for nothing more than the hilarity of the idea.
Also, I'd wager Anadi, and Kitsune for that matter, will allow Change Shape through a feat before it is an innate Ancestry ability.
EDIT: Oooo! As a side note, am I the only one who really hopes to see a new family of True Dragons native to Garund?!
