Serve as the event organizer or headquarters volunteer for an event that includes Pathfinder Society adventures or assist these volunteers in setting up or cleaning up after such an event. When you do so, you earn 2 additional Fame and Reputation with the Verdant Wheel faction on the next scenario you play.

Special You can benefit from this boon only a number of times equal to your current Reputation Tier with the Verdant Wheel faction. Each time you fulfill the requirements of this boon, mark it on your next Chronicle sheet along with the associated Reputation Tier. Have the GM sign beside this notation. You can only earn additional Fame and Reputation with this boon for one character per adventure you run, even if you have multiple characters who could benefit from this boon.

I recently got around to setting up my own personal Warhorn, complete with its own Event Code, and my first GM session begins tomorrow.

Does that satisfy the requirements of this Boon?

As written, I think it does, but I don't think that was the intent. AFAIK, it was supposed to be applicable to events that qualify as conventions, but short of a clarification from the Org Play team, I see no reason to restrict it

is trying to say; the qualifications for the boon make no mention of running adventures.

I also agree this is probably intended to be limited to conventions; while that should probably be clarified, I think it is a good idea in the current circumstances to have an incentive for more people to offer opportunities to play.

They probably cut and pasted it from the Vigilant Seal out-of-character boon and neglected to edit it. It should match the Horizon Hunter. They should all probably match the Horizon Hunter restriction (since GM running = playing).

I suppose I was mostly wondering if there was a distinction between in-person Events, and online Events, since my Warhorn will only be for distance gaming, but I realize now I didn't specify that in my original post.

Online conventions still have lots of prep work, just ask the Online VOs putting together Gameday and its specials.

Oh, for sure. And, eventually, my Event will have more sessions than our local Cons. It will just take a few months.
